My carpets are almost 10 years old, but after being cleaned, they looked and smelled like new. Your company was able to remove pet stains and odors left behind from two dogs. The chemicals used did not have an overwhelming smell and was safe for my children and dogs. The service was professional from start to finish. Not only did the technician take care in the appearance and cleanliness of my carpet, but he also took great care in protecting my walls and doorways during the cleaning. The service I received far exceeds those of other carpet cleaners I have used in the past. more

Fraud Alert 10/8/2010

In late July 2010, my wife and I received a quote for laminate wood flooring and we put a $700 deposit on the contract. The next day I found that the company had an F- rating from the BBB and hundreds of complaints about their quality of work and business practices. I performed the procedures to formally cancel the contract within the prescribed three business days but have had nothing but excuses ever since. It is now October and each time we call we get a different excuse from it is waiting for approval to approved but waiting on processing to the refund department is not available and so on. There is never a straight answer and the employee who answers the phone refuses to escallate the call since he supposedly is the ""manager"" but he has no other name than ""Eric"".\r \r So far I have talked at least four families out of doing business with Express Flooring, including one my wife did this week, so I am doing my part to try to get the word out. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH EXPRESS HOME FLOORING!!!! more

Buyer BEWARE 9/1/2010

Over a month ago I called Express Flooring because the laminate flooring was lifting in my office and chipped a corner of the flooring. An installer came to inspect and found that there were other areas where it was lifting. He said he would take the info back to the office and they would call to schedule a repair. A week went by and I never heard anything, so I called them back. They said they would have someone call me. On August 12th a customer service guy called me around 3:30p and asked me to go over what the issue was because there had been a communication mixup in the office. I told him again what the issue was and what the installer had said. He scheduled another visit for the following Tuesday to have the floor inspected again. On Tuesday the 17th, the same installer came with tools in hand, however, I only had a few pieces of extra flooring (and he had stated, at his original visit, that he was going to need several boxes) he did not have any extra flooring and I was totally unaware that he was coming to repair as the CSR told me they coming to inspect again, therefore, the office was not empty for the installer to repair, nor did he have what he needed to do the job in the first place. Again, the installer left and said someone would be calling me. A few days later I received a call from Nick to schedule a repair on Tuesday the 24th between 8am - 10am. Tuesday morning I get a call from Nick stating that the installer was not going to be out until 2pm-4pm. I had already taken apart my office (I work from home and this is a VERY BIG INCONVENIENCE). The installer shows up around 3pm with two other installers and they start saying that the lifting is due to water damage. I explain to them that there has been NO water damage in this house. Then they say that the product is discontinued and they don't have anymore product. They left stating that someone would call me. By Friday, August 27th I still did not hear from anyone so I called them again. Ofcourse a supervisor was not available and someone would call me. I get a call from Nick again and now they are stating that the lifting is from my chair rolling over it. Now this is supposed to be a product with a 40 year warranty, and since it isn't water damage like they first implied, now its my chair that has caused the laminate (not the board) but the laminate to lift and chip. However, there are other areas that were covered by a rug that are lifting too. They are saying that because of this it is not covered under warranty and since the product is discontinued we would have to replace the whole floor!!! The customer service is absolutely terrible, never calling and ignoring the situation because they don't know how to handle it and then they keep changing the story!!! Ok they called me within 2 days of me posting this complaint and filing with the BBB. I spoke to a Jake on Tuesday and he said himself or another supervisor Tracy would be coming out and personally inspecting my floor on Wednesday between 9am-11am. I get a phone call from a John saying he is leaving now and would be at my house in 30 minutes!!! Who the heck is John, well he is an inspector NOT a manager who stated he just found about coming to my house today! I call Jake and he said that Tracy didn't come in to work today so he couldn't leave and that John knew about coming to my house about an hour ago. I ask why didn't Jake call me???????? Why didn't any manager call me?????? Again I sit around waiting for them to show up!!! These people are RIDICULOUS!!! BEWARE - don't waste your time with them, IT IS NOT WORTH IT more

Express Flooring Customer Service was..... 8/20/2010

?I just wanted everyone here to know that I decided to take a chance with Express. Like many of you, I did my homework and found both good and bad reviews. I also have seen the BBB website, which created even more concern. So, I took the time to collect multiple bids and meeting with a total of 5 different companies. Based on many factors I decided to give Express the shot. Although there are 100+ complaints to the BBB, I knew there had to be many more ?HAPPY? customers to support the commercial being on TV constantly J? Here are the reasons why during the consultation I made the decision I did; 1. The price was more than 20% less than all other bids 2. The flooring was available for next day installation (which I needed in time for upcoming guests) 3. And I got a Lifetime Installation Warranty (which nobody else was offering) It also helped that everyone I was in contact with, from the phone representatives to the design consultant that met with my husband and I were amazing! Even after all that, I was still worried, but that only lasted until the next day. The installers were right on time and they moved my furniture as if it were their own, tore out the old flooring, removed it without incident, and meticulously laid down my new flooring. The difference this made was big enough for my guests to comment ?YOUR FLOOR LOOKS AWESOME! WHO DID THE WORK?? I am proud to say, Express Flooring and have told some friends about my experiences as well since then. My experiences throughout the entire process are in stark contrast to the negative things written about you online! Our dealings with this company started back in December of 2005. However, since the company has the worse customer service I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, I felt it was my responsibility as a consumer to warn other consumers. Cons: You could lose your sanity more

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE 6/3/2010

Express flooring was my first choice for getting new carpet. And when I filled out the free estimate form online I was pleased to get such a fast response from Heather Emerson (Phoenix, AZ) But after being put on hold immediately and then somehow I was transfered to another employee, Cassandra. I was incredibly upset with how i was treated and how she wasn't listening to my requests what so ever. and when she went to scold one of her employees about how I was transfered to her ... she didn't even bother to place me on hold. I found her so unprofessional, I told her I would rather go through another company now. Shortly after hanging up the phone i received an email from Heather Emerson, I assumed and was hoping it as an apology, but it was actually an email Heather Emerson had sent out to her department and accidentaly sent to me...this is the email i received: Website Feedback Form: Website Lead ( Page) nbox Reply: Heather Emerson to me show details 4:28 PM (34 minutes ago) Was on the phone, put call on hold because other lines where ringing, Cassandra pick up the call when it rang back. Express rip off report 8/4/2009

Regarding re packaging of materials. \r \r It is my undestanding that express buys the cheapest material they can get there hands on and repackages it into there own boxes. They then go as far as to tell the customer that there material comes with some over inflated and rediculous warranty. I've heard as high as 60 years!!! People if they want to warranty this material for those periods of time then thats great but you should ask for a copy of everything in writing. Don't be stupid consumers. They offer 60% off. 60% off of what. If 1200 feet of laminate costs you 10950.00. Then that means before your 60% discount you were at 17,520.00. SEVENTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR LAMINATE!!! Even TEN THOUSAND!!! 10,900 devided 1200 feet equalls 9 dollars a foot. for 9 a foot you can do a lot better then some cheap 39cent chinese garbage. Come on wake the hell up. THey get away with it because theres no price gouging laws in AZ.\r \r Your starting to see all these emails because the employees can't sleep at night. They're good people being made to participate in a fraud of the people. You can't be mad at the low level employees. They are people with families to support. They're doing what they have to to survive while the guys at the top of this fat cash cow are touring the world, buying new houses or bigger office buildings.\r \r Another point to consider. They offer a lifetime installation warranty. Take the time to read every line of the back of the contract. They have an out for almost anything that can go wrong.
