If a person want s to cancel there contract and get there money back, the plan is to pass the customer from rep. to rep. hopping that either 48 hours will pass and they can keep a restocking fee form the deposit, or one of the reps will be able to smooth talk the customer back. they have no consideration for small jobs, and the only reason they have a high rating on this website is because employees of Express are assigned to boost the ratings and write false positive reviews. They are conartisits. Be sure to check there rep with the better business b. and on websites like this citysearch. you will be able to tell which ones are written form actual customers and which are from Express employees. Do some research before choosing this company. more

Ah, the disgruntled ex employee rant. Well, we had Express Flooring put in travertine at my home and it turned out great. I didn't notice they got kicked out of the better bureau, but whatever, they did a good job for me. And they do have a business license to operate in Arizona, I did check that out. So, I guess the ex-employee is just a liar. more

I dig the tile they put in my house in Tempe last month. The salesmen showed up to my house on time, was knowledgeable and courteous. The installers came a little later in the day than I expected, but they got the job done faster than I expected. And now I can invite friends over to my house without being embarassed about the bathroom floor. more

The salesmen could not have been more helpful explaining and showing the products. The installers were here when promised and did a wonderful job. I've worked in construction for 35 years and I know good work when I see it. I certainly got my money's worth. more

Well, the installers realized that the old vinyl would not be a good thing to have the new vinyl over-laid.\r \r So with our permission, they removed the old vinyl and prepared the floor. They said the old vinyl was no glued very well and they wanted to make sure the new vinyl was installed the right way.\r \r You can be proud that you have installers that care for the customer.\r more

Best installers ever. These dudes got a tile job done in one day at my home in Phoenix. Didn't miss a beat and they even came back the next day to make sure it was all liad down right since there was a question of the grout drying in time. Got it all done in time for me to put the house on the market. more

Everyone I dealt with at Express Flooring was kind, intelligent and understanding. I did have some problems with my carpet installation (the carpet didn't come in when they said it would), nonetheless, when the job was completed it was superb. Even when I was getting frustrated with them, their customer service staff understood me and worked as quickly as possible to resolve the problem. These guys know what they're doing. I had them do a huge job at my home in Scottsdale. Tile, carpet and laminate. Took them three days, but that's because they had to wait stuff to dry. The price was right, the service was great and the one problem I had was handled by a professional who did me the courtesy of knocking a hundred bucks off the job. I'd strongly recommend them. more

I too hastily entered into a contract with this firm on Jan. 18, 2007. The next day I regretted my haste and legally broke the contract with a phone call and a certified letter mailed to Express Home Flooring in Phoenix. That was almost 40 days ago. As yet, I cannot get my $3294+ returned. Each time I call I get excuses and the run-around. I have filed a formal complaint with the Arizona Attorney General office and also am filing one with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors. If you look up the ROC's website, you will see that many, many complaints have been filed against this company. Buyer Beware! Cons: You get the feeling that this company GOTCHA! more

Measured my townhome and were over by 300 sq ft. They promise you vacation trips but really you are paying for it in their contract. I was going to be charged almost $5000 for 700 sq ft. My townhome is only 1006 sq ft. Not sure where they got 700 since it is a two bedroom place. I received a new estimate by another company and the square footage was only 500 sq ft and the cost was around $2000 and they were excellent. Express Flooring cashed my $100 check and then didn't refund it to me for over 2 months. I had to contact the Bettor Business Bureau to get my check back.
