Exceptional Customer Service 5/22/2012

Sean, Nick, Tom and Mike went out of their way to right the wrong that Chuck caused.\r \r Tom emptied the septic box.\r Sean and Nick unclugged the lines and were friendly, knowledgable and quick.\r Mike, the Manager, was apologetic and professional for the mishap with Chuck.\r \r I will always call Sean Townsend for my plumbing needs. They turned a horrible situation into a pleasant experience and made the bad go away.\r \r Thank you to all that helped us. My family is very appreciative.\r \r Cindy more

Overpriced. Do not use this Company. Roto Rooter Stinks. 5/18/2012

I contacted Roto Rooter because I had a clogged outside drain pipe. The lady on the phone said that the trip was free and she could have someone out that evening. That was not the case. When Roto Rooter finally arrived they severely over charged my to snake my pipe and run a camera to identify the location of the issue. When they found it was a broken pipe, the field manager gave me a ridiculous quote of over $3,000 to fix a pipe that was 1' 6"" under ground. I had the issue fixed by a plumber in Cincinnati today for $450. Do not pay the crazy amounts they charge. Roto Rooter is owned by Chem Ed, and they charge a huge amount to pay for the downtown building. Choose your local plumber, not a company that charges absorbant amounts. Roto Rooter Stinks. more

Plumber - Cincinnati - Garage Drain 5/7/2012

I'll start with the bad parts first. Don't count on them calling you til it's almost time for them to get there, and given their two hour window, they showed up at the end of it, not the beginning. Be prepared for that. One other thing they did was to try to sandbag my expectations. I knew where the clog was, though, since I had tried to get rid of it myself, so I knew once he got started and got to the clog that it would clear up. The guy who came to clean my drain, Andy, was very friendly and courteous. Once he got the machine started it was only about five minutes 'til that magical ""whoosh"" sound of the water rushing away, sucking air through the drain had come. Since it was a flat rate job, he stuck around to make sure the whole thing was cleaned out, slowly all the way out and back. He said that otherwise, although they're told to go in by hand and let the retractor pull it out, that otherwise a plumber could go right past a root ball and miss it. I'd call these guys again. more

My kitchen sink drain was clogged (for the second time this month). I called on a Sunday afternoon and the plumber was here in only a few hours! He got my drain unclogged quickly and now it looks great. I would recommend Roto-Rooter Cincinnati, OH to anyone! more

Bill was a super nice guy work well and very clean .Picked up after himself. I would recommend him to anyone . They called me and said he be in a hour and he was on time.He explain the work to us and a price .We put a tolet in around Nov. he was the one that came out he did such a good job when we needed him we request him . more

Roto-rooter came to the rescue when our main drained backed up. We needed a plumber, & called them on a Sat night at 6:30 and they were there within 30 minutes. The service man was friendly and answered our questions, and luckily the drained just needed snaked. I've dealt with other companies in Cincinnati in the past, but they were not as knowledgeable or professional. Although it cost $250, for a weekend, I didn't think that was too bad. I would definitely recommend Roto-rooter. more

Grease Clog! 4/29/2012

What an exceptional team of pros trying to unclog the long long pipes beginning at our kitchen sink and traversing the length of a ranch home. Kudos to Chuck, Jerry and Jeff. It took these three top service providers to help us come clean! Timely, respectful, considerate are just a few adjectives I may use to characterize these professionals. After a frantic start to our day, with water running into our basement from an overflowing toilet I called Roto-Rooter and Jimmy was here within 40 min. He came in and cleared the blocked toilet within 10 min. I told him the bathtub drain runs slowly. He got his auger and went to work. The drain appeared clear but as he began to pack-up his tools, he decided to run water one more time. The drain was stopped-up again. He went down to the basement and removed the trap; only to find a cap from the tub faucet. Thanks to Jimmy's thoroughness our drains are open and working great. Plumber - Cincinnati. I had an old pipe in the basement spring a leak on Sat., which prevented me from doing laundry and washing dishes. That's a big deal for a family of five. Roto Rooter was the only company that would come out on Sun. and not charge me an after hour rate. The gentelman arrived on time and offered me a quick and correct fix. All in all, I'm very happy that the problem is resolved, and things are back to normal in our household. I would definitely recommend Roto Rooter to others. more
