Party Rentals By Lisa

We rented nearly $1400 worth of wedding reception equipment from this vendor for my daughter's October wedding. Lisa's recommendations were fine, and the event looked lovely. However, our venue unpacked the items and decorated the tables for us, and when the event was over, we returned what they had boxed up. Turns out one of the tablecloths had what looked like a dry cleaning chemical burn in the center, which there was no way we could have caused since it was covered with a mirror & centerpiece the entire evening. Unfortunately for us, although the Sales & Catering Manager called Lisa directly to confirm that she saw the hole when setting the tables up (just didn't want to upset the bride for something she could work around), Lisa refused to believe her or my friends who also confirmed that the mirrors were covering the location), and charged us $70 to replace the tablecloth. Not only that, Lisa was quite nasty to the Manager, and would not refund even a penny to us. Needless to say, neither our venue or I will EVER recommend Party Rentals by Lisa again. If you do decide to use them, my advice is to open up each and every package upon pickup, to make sure there is nothing wrong with any of it...... more

I went to Lisa for my wedding last June. Before going to her store, I shopped around and compared not only prices, but quality to the other rental stores in the area. After walking in the show room of Party Rentals by Lisa, my decision was immediately made. I worked with Lisa herself, and she was so much fun! I gave her my ideas and let her run with it. She made my wedding planning so much easier and the ceremony and reception was absolutely stunning. I have recommended many friends and co-workers to this company & recommend them to you as well! I dealt with Party Rentals by Lisa for rentals for my wedding. This was the only place in the area that had what we needed so we had to use them. They have horrible business practices and take no responsibility for what they do or tell you. We spent alomst $1000 there and they did nothing to make the transaction easy. This was the only vendor that was difficult to deal with in planning my wedding and I would never recommend them to anyone. They were on the preferred vendor list for my venue and I am going to ask that they be removed to prevent problems for future brides. Pros: Variety Cons: Everything else, mostly customer service more
