Great food and scene 6/8/2006

My friends and I went here before a cruise last month and had a blast. Reasonable prices for both the food and drinks. The crowd here was friendly and fun. There's a good diverse group - whether you want to dance, eat, watch people or sports - great place. more

Fun 6/5/2006

Delightful little Hotel that's clean and friendly. Excellent front desk (one employee-young , thin female working afternoon-was REALLY Ditzy!) The others were excellent-helpful. Both men were extremely professional. They made our stay truly delightful. We didn't even need to leave the hotel to have a good time. Pros: nice rooms, fun, helpful staff more

Great place 5/1/2006

This bar caters to all. There's both an inside and outside, however most of the action takes place outside. It's a sports bar as there are several large screens located outside, it's an outside bar allowing you to take advantage of the warm weather and they have live music and dancing. Drinks are reasonable for South Beach ($5.00) for Coors Light. My girlfriend and I went to 4 bars while we were in South Beach and this was by far our favorite Pros: Outdoors, Sports more

What a THAI! 3/21/2006

Where do I start? Hmm, maybe with the words that this is the BEST THAI food I have ever had. I am from New York City, where Thai restaurants are abundant (Pongsri, Spice, Sea and many more to name a few). None come close to the taste, service and portions that this place gives. I ordered the ""Smiling Fish"" and it has the most authenthic thai sauce taste. None of that instant stuff. Only word of caution, when the waitress asks level of spice from 1-4, 3 being medium....I suggest go for the 2. The price was a little high, about 19 to 23 for an entree but all Miami restaurants are like that. Pros: Taste, Service, Portions Cons: A little pricey more

This is the spot 150% customer service 3/3/2006

We had booked at another hotel down the street that wasnt what the web said it was. I walked in the front door and the young woman at the desk listened to me and my situation . She told me that she would be more than glad to get us a room and match the rate that we were to pay up the street. In fact the staff here was so helpful that we can not wait to go back and visit. Man the pool on the roof you can be served a drink and not get sand in your suit this pool is like no other and that signiture drink they serve is like liquid gold. My hat is off to you for customer service. Keep it up. Pros: great service, pool on roof, rooms are chic more

Customer Service Without the Service 11/26/2005

Whe I checked in the room was warm so I asked that maintenance take a look at the unit. The guy held his hand 3 inches from the vent told me it was working fine although I was sweating. I'm sure that CHECKING the unit meant more than holding a hand over it. The front desk said there was nothing they could do since all the South Beach Group hotels were sold out. After complaining all weekend with no work done on the unit and the last day of my stay, the front dest attendant lied and said again that there were no rooms until I told her how many days we had gone with out A/C. The manger nor any representative from South Beach Group hotels returned my phone call or email to address my complaint. If you are looking for quality and service this place it not it. Pros: happy hour, location, music Cons: no customer service, Inadeuate A/C, No Manager on duty more
