The Place to come back to! 9/18/2010

After our last visit to the Old Warsaw a few weeks ago, we came back for another treat in Uptown. The Old Warsaw has been in Dallas since 1948 and it has always been the best place to have a nice evening at! \r We had a romantic dinner and felt like we were all the way across the ocean in one of the European countries. The Restaurant is like a time machine- it take you back to one of the most beautiful and colorful periods in our history, times of Louis XXIV and The Versailles. \r Every evening that we come here was like a little trip to the best part of Europe! The The Old Warsaw sets the mood at the very beginning and it just gets better and better. \r The waiters are always classy and very nice. The Sheff does the best job at making everything, starting from baked ousters or roasted baby quail and up to the seared dove sole or prime fillet , taste unforgettable. Doesn't matter what you order- it'll be up to it's best! more

Best Evening 9/10/2010

I have to admit, this was my first dinner at the Old Warsaw. I have heard so much about it and little did I know... The restaurant is fascinating starting from the entering the place and all the way to the end of the evening. The feel of the Renaissance and Baroque Europe reads all through the design of the rooms, which is very romantic and beautiful. The dinner itself was done just right with great presentation to it. The Lobster I have ordered was the best lobster I have ever had. Great vine selection to go with the main menu! \r The service was good as well. Our waiter was professional with his skills as well as funny with us. \r more

There's no doubt that The Old Warsaw is one of the most respected restaurants in Dallas. The food was absolutely superbe. Expect to pay between $30-40 for your main course but the price is worth the quality of food, aesthetically and flavor-wise. I started with the Lobster Crepe that came crammed with more lobster than I expected. My spinach salad was donned with just enough salad dressing. The main course was a very thick NY Strip stuffed with tasty crab meat and paired with potatos and a surprisingly small portion of green beans. The desert was a large slice of Hazelnut layored cake garnished with blueberries. Scrumptious! The atmosphere can't be beat: high ceilings with low hanging chandeliers, grand paintings, a beautifull wine room and separate bar at the entrance. Throughout the evening a pianist played on a baby grand accompanied by a solo violinist who took recomendations from the dinners and played every tune flawlessly. At the end of our meal, each lady at the table was given a white rose. more

Wow, the steaks were amazing. \r Turned up at 7.30pm without a reservation and got shown to the only empty table in the place. The staff were very polite and helpful. We had crab cake to share, and then an 8oz Mignon steak and one of the sirloin steaks, with a side order of salad and roasted vegetables. All the food was amazing, all perfectly cooked, and the sizes of steak are very very good. We were never rushed and had a very enjoyable meal. more

Do put it on the list of places to visit! 8/25/2010

I have been here on several occasions for business functions and have been very impressed with the food and staff. The meat has always been delicious, the seafood apps are solid, and so are the side dishes. Service is great and always looking to please. Overall highly recommended to add to your list of must visit steakhouses in uptown Dallas. more

Very Romantic! 8/24/2010

I took my girlfriend out for a romantic dinner to the Old Warsaw. She was very impressed with this restaurant. Everybody there made our anniversary celebration very special and memorable. This place is the best for the romantic evening with its spirit, service and, last but not least, its delicious food. A beautiful rose after the dinner completed our pleasant experience with the Old Warsaw. My girlfriend said it was her best anniversary. Thank to the Old Warsaw, the evening will be remembered for many years to come. more

Steak is my favorite food. Always have been. And The Old Warsaw did a great job making them perfect. The fillet Mignon was done to its perfection with sides that complimented the main piece in a best way. Great experience! One of the best steaks I ever had. Perfectly aged fillet ( they are three weeks in restaurant) server with crab and Bearnaise sauce. Very nice salad. Excellent lobster bisque. Nice vine list. Well prepared chocolate souffle. Violinist. A perfect red rose for my fiance at The end of the meal. A perfect romantic evening. If you are looking for a classic restaurant with a bit of eastern European ambiance and non-intrusive, this is the nice place for you. more

Amazing! \r My friend took me out for my birthday to the Old Warsaw. I have always wanted to go there,but never had a chance. The restaurant exceeded my expectation. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and romantic at the same time. I loved the musicians and a little show involving making a special coffee drink we got to see.
