Great Food Great Service 1/25/2011

Very nice friendly service, cozy intimate atmosphere, food was impressive. I had the N.Y. Strip, wonderful flavor and cooked to my expectations. My friend also had the a steak and it was delightful. She is a big steak eater so for him to love something at the first bite has to say some thing. The desserts were wonderful as well. \r more

High Quality 1/24/2011

The Old Warsaw is the place to go if you need a meal of high quality. The greeting staff was professional and cordial and sat us as we arrive earlier than our schedule reservation. Our waiters immediately appeared and offered their ?opinions on the food and wine lists. \r more

No One Compares 1/21/2011

What could I write about such an iconic restaurant... We have celebrated every anniversary of our 10 years, every special occasion and find at least 4 or 5 other reasons every year to go back and eat the delicious food that they have at The Old Warsaw\r Never a bad experience, always an exceptionally perfect experience. Never had a food anywhere else in Dallas that compares. more

Worldwide Favorites 1/20/2011

The food was superb! We have dined worldwide and felt that The Old Warsaw was one of the best. Service was very good and the waiters have an overall sophistication, they were attentive without being too ""in your face."" \r more

One of the best 1/17/2011

My husband and I had dinner at Old Warsaw during our visit to Dallas. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable (very attentive without being overbearing or interrupting). The Steak Diane was to die for, and the Pecan Pie with Ice Cream was a superb touch. more

Best in Dallas! 1/15/2011

My friends and I have always been big fans of the Old Warsaw. This week we have decided to get together over a nice dinner and surly romantic get away within DFW metroplex aria was the place of choice! The evening was marvelous! Our favorite waiter was as always the best! The food was delicious and the night overall turned out to be fabulous. I am so glad there are places like this in Dallas! more

What can I say about Old Warsaw, The crab cakes were deliciously full and meaty. Everyone was happy with their steak selections and we all ordered our meat (filets and NY strip) cooked at different temps and were all satisfied. The seasoning was so tasty, but did not take away from the meat. Their wine selections are also amazing we order the Semi Cabernet Sauvignon and it was perfect for the all the Filets we order. more

Amazing!!! 1/8/2011

The dinner at the Old Warsaw my husband and I had the other night was absolutely fantastic! The most romantic place in Dallas we have ever been to! The atmosphere is magical to the extend where it takes you 10000 miles away to one of the beautiful and romantic European cities. The food was Delicious and the service- just as expected- up to the heights standard! \r Amazing get away without getting on a plane. more

great restaurant 1/1/2011

This place is my new date spot. It’s a great place to bring a gal for a drink or for dinner. Swank and romantic too and the Steaks and Dessert thing seems to be a crowd pleaser. The food is great and the service is really friendly, and the tables are nice and intimate. more

Wonderful Place! 12/30/2010

This year I've decided to take my family out for a Christmas dinner. The place of choice was The Old Warsaw. Needless to say, everything was up to the expectations- food was delicious, service was just great, and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. \r more

Wowwwwwwwwww 12/24/2010

I’ve gone twice now, once with my friend for dinner and another time I took a client. Both times I was blown away. At dinner it’s pretty swanky and they have great entrees. My friend got Lamb Chops and I got Steak Diane and we shared. The plates aren’t huge but it’s a great way to try a lot of things. It's a great place to impress a client too, and you're able to have a nice quiet meal. I'll definitely be going back again soon... more

aMAZING! 12/23/2010

This Holiday Season our restaurant of choice for the Christmas dinner was The Old Warsaw. \r The evening turned out to be magical. The holiday atmosphere along with the going back in time to the most romantic place and century in human history- renaissance Europe- made our celebration unforgettable. \r The decor, the music, and of course, the food- everything was top of the line! We are very happy with the choice we made this yer. The Old Warsaw is a truly classic, romantic and very nice place for a beautiful evening. more

wow, best of best 12/21/2010

This holiday season my husband and i have had our traditional Christmas dinner at old warsawWent shopping to Dunedin to cute little shops like Darling Memories,Amanda Austin and Rose Garden. Everyone in these shope were nice and welcoming. I wanted to end my shopping experience with a nice cup of Java. \r Whe I walked to Cappucino's Bakery...I saw a couple of customers and once person working behind the counter so I decided to sit and but my bags down. When I sat on the counter...the lady working there didn't aknowledge me but I figure she was alone so I didn't take it personally. Since I really was craving my cup of Java I decided to patiently wait. After taking the order from customers she went to the back and dissapeared for 20 minutes. \r At this point I really needed to go to the bathroom. When she came of to serve the people I asked if she can buzz me to the bathroom and she ignored me. I asked again and she SHOUTED at me and I saw a mean lady looking at me. She yelled""don't you see that I'm working alone here...if you need a public bathroom there's one around the corner"". I metioned to her that I was a potential customer and I have been patient by waiting 20 minutes and she didn't have to yell at me and send me to a public bathroom. I've had my bags here and that she shouldn't abuse me for no reason. \r After that...she yelled at me again and told me that I should leave her shop. SHe mentioned that she was the owne and I was shocked and couldn't believe that she was being so cruel to me for no apparent reason. She basically was taking out her job or personal frustrations on me. I was really shocked and like any women with some integrity I defended my case....and tol her that she was very cruel and bitter and that this is no way to treat a customer who has been patiently waiting. She then did the ultimate...she called the cops so they can escort me for no reason. Since it was so unfair...I figured I would wait and explain my side of the story to the cops...that I was basically waiting 20 minutes for a cup of Java and to use the bathroom and this lady was just cruel with me for no apparent cause...just being abusive towards me from her personal frustrations. \r I decided to leaven and not let her ruin the wonderful experience I had with other merchant owners in the area. I saw her as being cruel, catty and bitter and left without take in it personally. \r I have travelle all over the world and come from a family of restaurant owners and I ive that the owner of Cappuccino's Bakery a 0 out of 10 rating for cruelty, abuse, and and hateful energy. Have a spirit lady...it's Xmas. She is a lady Scroodge.\r If you are visiting Dunedin...stay away if you are happy, attractive and fairly young because this witch will hate on you and give you ill treatment. She represents the haters of the world who hate the happy, sexy, beautiful and cheerful young women. STAY AWAY from the abuse. Oh by the way I saw she did the same to a customer on a Yahoo Travel Review....this MErchant will give Dunedin a bad name.\r more

This Holiday Season my husband and I have had out traditional Christmas dinner at Old Warsaw. The experience was unforgettable - our evening turned out to be just like we imagined. Holiday spirit was noticeable all through the dinner - beautiful Christmas tree with lights as we walked in, Christmas music played by the pianist and a violinist during the meal- all made it very holidayish. \r The food was on the top of the line- best steaks we've ever had! The waiter was very professional and entertaining somewhere. \r Out evening at the Old Warsaw was a great start for the Holiday celebration. more

""Food and service are excellent and the ambience is great"" 12/17/2010

Bad in so many ways 12/10/2010

All I can say is that you must read the Dallas Morning News one star review of the Old Warsaw before you choose to fork out $200 at this restaurant. It's not worth it. It looks like they have someone writing their positive reviews for them because it's nothing like all these ""rave reviews"" have made it out to be. The food is definitely frozen and processed as the Dallas Morning News food critic herself says. The staff has no clue what is going on and the staff look like they can't wait to go home. Don't play into their own hype. This place is one giant con, you're paying for subpar food at astronomical prices. Do your homework, read the REAL reviews before heading to this restaurant. more

Great staff, great food, great time. This place has got to be my favorite restaurant in all of Dallas. I can stop by for a quick dessert, or have a romantic dinner. Either way, the experience will be divine. I recommend the Scottish Grilled Salmon, sauteed mushrooms and capers on a bed of fettuccini. It is my favorite dish. The Hazlenut Dark Chocolate Cake is perfect for my sweet tooth every time. If you want to leave a good impression on someone, bring them here. You will never be disappointed. more
