I moved my wife and I to Dallas about 4 years ago because of a job transfer. We are originally from NYC. Normally my wife cooks dinner or we at a simple restaurant. When moving to Dallas I would always here about these 5 star restaurants but decided to finally try one just recently. I searched around on the internet and saw that Old Warsaw came up everywhere. It seemed like it was the most searched or most visited restaurant in Dallas. Everything about it sounded good so we decided to go. When I got there I noticed they only offered valet parking, which was good, and the gentleman was really nice. The hostess greeted us and we were sat at a very romantic booth that circled in so I could sit close to my wife. I don't care too much for decor but I have to admit this place was really fancy and perfectly decorated. We had a four-course meal including Lobster Crepes, Stroganoff, Beef Wellington, Clam Chowder Soup, and Italian cream cake. Of course that wasn't the whole meal but you get the point. Everything was delicious and the portions were perfect. Usually when leaving from a restaurant I ready to puke but with this restaurant I wanted to keep eating. As some would say the plates were, ""finger licking good!"" The wine list was superb and there were so many to choose from. We decided to go with the house wine and it was very tasty. The price for our meal was beyond acceptable for the quality of the service. We had a meal that lasted for about 3 hours. What I especially loved was that we were not rushed out like in other restaurants. Overall everything was delicious and fun. I will be returning soon!
