Amazing food and service

The food was great, the server was attentive to be serving a party of 14, but why were we all standing around waiting on the bill? We waited for at least 15 minutes yesterday to g...

beautiful environment, great food, great experience 9/4/2006

I loved No Más! I think the owners have done a great job at creating a wonderful environment, inside and outside, for dining and relaxing. I had only positive experiences with the friendly servers, managers, and bartenders. I've tried several items on the menu so far, and my fav. entree is their stuffed chicken (can't remember the name--pollo relleno, I think), and I like the fish taco appetizers. They also have my new favorite drink in Atlanta--a frozen drink made with Brazilian cachaça and tamarind. Too good. Love the paintings upstairs and the lights in the trees outside! more

What an incredible experience! 8/28/2006

The guys from No Mas Productions over near Howell Mill and Huff Road outdid themselves on their new restaurant that bares the same name. No Mas Cantina is exactly what Castleberry Hill was missing, in my humble opinion. Steve and Walt have created a beautiful space with fantastic food from south of the border. A trip to a Mexican restaurant always warrants a pitcher of margaritas, and the tall colorful handmade vessel full of icy pale green heaven did not disappoint! The salsa hints of roasted red peppers...mmm. I like to mix cheese dip with equal parts salsa to kick it up a notch. You should try it! I ordered the fish tacos and my guest had a delightful chicken dish. We both left fat and happy! Now Atlanta has a reason to re-discover Castlebarry Hill!!! If you haven't been there in a while, you're in for a pleasant surprise. Pros: The outdoor spaces are as nice as the inside! Cons: None more

Best Mexican Food in Atlanta!! 8/27/2006

Between the brilliant decor and the delicious menu options, it's safe to say this is the best place to enjoy Mexican in our city! Must try the guacamole, fish tacos, and the quattro leche for dessert! All are wonderful!!! If you have never been to Castleberry Hill then this restaurant alone should be your reason to go. Can't wait to return and enjoy a margarita on their patio. Pros: Food, decor, people Cons: add more vegetarian options more

Best Mexican, Patio & Atmosphere In Atlanta. 8/23/2006

The guys from No Mas Productions have outdone themselves! What a spectacular achievement! WOW! Years in the making but was well worth the wait. The atmosphere is outstanding! Beautiful furnishings with authentic accents and a subdued lighting scheme make the ambiance perfect! No expense spared and it doesnt stop with decor! The menu is phenomenal. Great specialty drinks and specials every night. However, I did order a common Portuguese cocktail (Red Vermouth, ice, splash of soda, lemon and orange slices - yum!) and that caused a little confusion. Oh well its not a Portuguese restaurant! Pros: parking, atmosphere, specialty drinks. Cons: drinks can be $ but not midtown prices! more

Best Mexican food AND Environment in Atlanta 8/23/2006

I can't say enough good things about this place. The ambiance is AMAZING. Beautifully decorated inside and out (small garden area). Two floors with balcony overlooking lower floor. HUGE covered patio. Lots o' parking...All in the heart of Downtown Atlanta. Oh yeah, not to mention, the drinks are GREAT...pricey, but GREAT! Pros: Ambiance, Parking, Drinks Cons: A bit pricey, but worth it! more

Editorial
  • In Short
Castleberry Hill?s No Mas Cantina has always stuck out. A place where you can buy your margarita pitcher after you drink it? An authentic hacienda attached to the restaurant?...
