Very Nice 10/27/2008

I found this Nursery to be very impressive. They had a large variety of plants. It was nice to see that the plants all seemed to be in great condition. They also had things for my compost that I couldn't find anywhere else. The down side was that it was on the pricey side. You get what you pay for. more

Best Selection 3/4/2008

This is expensive but in the long run it is well worth the price.\r Great selection and quality.\r Helpful staff\r I always buy way more than I intended because everything is so beautiful. more

Quite a Garden! 12/4/2006

This is quite the garden center. They are a bit pricey but they have quality plants and items that I cannot find at other locations in my area. They do have a plant guarantee on the shrubs and trees. Of all the trees that we have bought from them we have only had one to die and they did replace it with a new one when we produced the receipt of purchase. I like their selection of unusual pots and planters that you do not see everywhere. I love to go at Christmas and see all of their ideas and products. The geraniums in the spring are really nice and big, but pricey. I think in this case you pay for what you get. Same thing at Christmas with the poinsettias. This area is now becoming a village with all sorts of different speciality shops dealing with the home and garden. more

Top Quality Plants 11/28/2005

I was hesitant to spend alot on plants and shrubs, and this nursery is a little pricey. But one of their coupon offers drew me in. The selection of plants and shrubs is extensive. You can spend the day trying to see everything. I ended up purchasing some shrubs, and they have really grown large and full. Prices are definately more expensive than Walmart or the home improvement stores. But when you see how much better the plants and shrubs grow and how much healthier they are, I think you'll find you are getting your money's worth. PROS: Selection, Quality CONS: more

Beautiful 11/28/2005

This is a great place to get ideas, even if you can't afford their full-service prices. Be sure to join their club for free and they will send you coupons throughout the year. Also, a great bargain is their "We Plan, You Plant" service. For about $35 they will have one of their pros look at a picture of your house (with your measurements and lighting availability) and make your area "pop." It's nice because they really know what grows well in the piedmont. I also took a leaf from a dying tree and the pro was able to diagnose that it was stressed and helped me solve the problem. Good Variety at New Garden 11/23/2005

New Garden Nursery has a good variety of plants, including some hard-to-find perennials. The staff is helpful and they offer good sales and special events. They have a neat service in which they help you plan a garden. more
