My experience purchasing a 2010 vehicle over the internet was a first for me, and I now know that it will not be my last, especially from Mac Haik Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Georgetown and the sales team there. The beginning process of selecting a vehicle, in my case a Jeep, was of course the first step, which went rather smoothly on Jeep's website and then locating a dealer with inventory that was within my parameters and where I was going to be (geographically) became a little complicated of course, but with a few searches, it narrowed down quickly. Picking Mac Haik dealership looked like a good place to begin since I would be in Austin a few days, thus I began a new car buying journey. One question I had like everyone else was ""should I really provide all of that personal information to someone/business that I don't even know."" Well, I figured it wouldn't hurt and I could deal with the sales person if they did their usual calling, and calling. However, that wasn't the case with these guys. I first received a confirmation email of my inquiry, then rather than a phone call, I received another email from the sales manager. We were doing good here so far, nothing pressuring and all was going smooth. Wow! I must say I did receive a call from the sales manager after I was ready to chat with someone. And by the way, I was on the road for Austin to catch a flight to the east coast along with looking for a new Jeep, one I wanted at a price I wanted to pay, trade included.
