We found a table on Craig's list and needed to move it. At first we planned to move it with our truck, then decided we should get someone who knows what they are doing. We scheduled the move with Long's Billiards that week. We never imagined the process that was required. The installers were very professional and did a great job getting our table in the best spot. If you need a table moved, call Long's. more

These guys live up to their advertisements. Their crew showed up on time for pickup and delivery of our table. They very carefully took it apart, wrapped everything and delivered and set it up just as carefully. Their meticulous attention to detail was impressive. We moved our table three hours away and the price was more than reasonable. The total price was actually lower than a competitor's price 5 years ago! My wife and I couldn't be happier with Long's service. I wish more business owners would follow the example of pride and professionalism that Scott Long and his team have set. I would highly recommend them for any pool table moving required anywhere in our area. more

We recently moved to the Newport News, VA area. We have a Presidential billiard table, and the table moved with us. When we arrived in the area we requested Longs Billiards to recover the table and put it back together. We couldn't have been more pleased with the service - we had two visits, Vinny and John the first time, and Vinny and Joe the second. Both times the service and the professionalism of the crew were amazing. I highly recommend this business. more

I recently moved and I was finally ready to set up my pool table. John and Brian put my pool table together, refelted it, and leveled it. They took their time to make sure everything was as perfect as it possibly could be. I was very pleased by their knowledge and professionalism. They worked through the issues that came up and finished the job with superb results. I would highly recommend Long's for all of your pool table work. more

Our Youth Program facility recently purchased a Valley pool table from Longs Billiards to add to the one we already have which was over 4 years old. We chose the Valley due to the great performance and durability the older table has shown. Sandra, who was very pleasant, was able to handle my purchase over the phone and when I mentioned we were a military organization she contacted the owner who promptly gave us a discount. \r Vinny and Brian delivered and installed the table and did an amazing job. They were a great help and were very patient with me as I was still indecisive about where I wanted the pool table to go. Once the base table was assembled (without the slate) they were able to move the table around to find the best location and also made recommendations about the position. They covered the slate in red felt as we had requested, cleaned everything up and left us with an outstanding finished product. \r From start to finish Longs Billiards has been a fantastic company to do business with and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing their services. \r more

I was pleasantly surprised by a recent acquisition. I purchased a used pool table and had it professionally moved, leveled and re-felted. I wondered (after the aforementioned steps), what model the table was. I knew the brand but not the model. I looked at pictures I found on the internet and tried to compare. When I felt like I'd found a match, I wanted a bit of professional confirmation. I called Long's Billiards and asked how to identify tables. I was told to compare my table with pictures provided. That seemed a bit too simple. I e-mailed pictures of my table to Casandra at Long's Billiards. She confirmed my judgement. Suffice it to say that she made my day. I dearly appreciate her assistance. In addition to providing the technical ability to deliver a perfectly balanced surface, they were also very helpful in advising me about the optimal placement of the table, critical because you really don't want to move this table -- unless you're moving. more

Longs recently came out and moved my pool table;Vinny and Nicoh did a great job.They saved me money by carefully taking off my old felt and reusing it;all of the other companies I called said that I would have to buy new felt when I moved the table.I would highly recommend Longs for your billiard needs. The guys below, John H (for one that wasn't the name he gave to us), has completely switched the story. The reason his quote changed (not doubled but went up a few hundred) is because the location was not where he originally said. It went from being in Richmond to Northern Virginia....a two hr distance. Yes, the price will go up due to gas and labor which should be expected. It was not a $1000 job. Mr. Long was never rude to him. He doesn't curse in the office so I wouldn't expect him to curse at a commercial. I agree that it would be unprofessional to do that. As many people that have said in our other reviews how professional we are, do you expect the owner to be the unprofessional one? We have been in business for over 55 years and pride ourselves in our great work. We are doing something right to be in business that long.
