I went to school here for a very short time. I was a transfer student and had already been through a "basics" class and got put back in one. I was not aware of all of the added costs of going to school here. The school is old and dirty, their teaching methods are old fashioned and some of the students don't do their work, they sit outside and talk while the students who are there to learn do all of the clients. The teachers are rude and very biased, I have never felt so disrespected in my entire life. more

Esthetician program needs work 2/9/2013

I attended school here a while back and was very disappointed. The teacher was often unprofessional and lacked enthusiasm. I could have learned more by reading the textbook. The whole school needs a serious facelift. It's old and dirty. more

Think again before going to school here 1/2/2013

The school boasts a lower then average tuition but they failed to tell me, and others in my class, of other costs. For instance, to learn how to do something, you'll have to pay extra. Each time one of the students got a service, they had to pay. While the Esthetics instructor did offer many helpful insights, she basically "checked out" halfway through the 4 months we were there. More often then not, she had a bad attitude and some of us were afraid to ask questions anymore. We were rarely encouraged or inspired or even given positive feedback. Going to school each day was not enjoyable. Not because of what we were doing, but because of the lack of positivity. more

Cheap haircuts 2/28/2006

Leon's is a beauty school, but at that school they need people to test out their technique on....so they give haircuts. I have never had more than a trim done there myself, a lot of my male friends swore by leons. You could get super cheap haicuts, quality haircuts...done by soon to be pretty expensive sylists. Its a great place to go when you want a cutting edge cut, and are working on a budget. more
