Leblon Brazilian Steakhouse

We had reservations for the Saturday after Valentine's Day and all went well. There were 4 of us - 2 of which had never eaten here before. Yes, it is high priced but for what you get, it was reasonable. The experience and ambiance are what adds to this. You need to be a great meat lover to eat here though because that is what is served. The salad bar is nice but if you are looking for a conventional steak house salad bar, this is not for you. For those who like to try different things and are not pinching pennies, you will enjoy the experience. If you are looking for quiet, romantic this is not the place either. Rather loud, fun time. We were with friends and had a great time. It may have been the food combined with the company, but I would highly recommend this restaraunt. more

Leblon is a true churrascaria, in that they keep the meat coming for as long as you want it. Prime rib, chicken, turkey, parmesan pork tenderloin, garlic flank steak, lamb, smoked sausage, and even more cuts of meat, all brought to your table by servers dressed up as gauchos, on sword-sized skewers. The pork and beef cuts are, to me, better than the other meats.\r \r Add to this one of the most unique and appealing salad bars I've ever seen, sides of mashed potatoes and mashed sweet potatoes, mini crescent rolls, and fried bananas for dessert, and you have an exquisite meal.\r \r It's an expensive evening out, so it should probably be for a special occasion. It's definitely worth the price. more

The decor is pretty bare bones but when the gauchos start coming out with the swords and spits - who cares about decor.The salad bar was one of the best I have ever sampled. That alone would have been enough for me but when the meat started coming - it just kept coming and coming - everything is very good.The service was wonderful and if anyone walked away from there hungry, there was something terribly wrong with them. I loved the green and red buttons - green for "bring it on" and red for "uncle, uncle, I have had enough".For a special occasion, go to Leblon. For your typical Wednesday night, it might be a little pricey but for a fun night out, it can't be beat. more

What would you pay for roast, top sirloin, bottom sirloin, bacon wrapped filet, garlic rump roast, ribs-both pork and beef, Parmesan pork loin, smoked sausage and even more, and all you can eat of each of them? Now, add a huge salad bar that includes shrimp and smoked salmon, marinated eggplant, artichokes, and fresh mozzarella balls. Not done yet, now add little warm popovers, mashed potatoes and mashed sweet potatoes. Ok, add servers dressed as gauchos, bringing your meat to your table, cutting off the amounts you want, taking special orders to cook cuts the way you would like and coming back for as long as your little place setting sign stays on the green light side. I really don't think $26.95 is too much for a meal like that, and that's just what you'll get at Leblon Brazilian Steakhouse. I can't say enough good things about this place and I'm sure I won't do it justice. Please go and try it. Go hungry so you can try many different things. If a cut is too rare, ask them to cook it more

this place is a joke. I made a reservation for valentine's weekend two weeks in advance and they couldnt even keep their books in order to hold the reservation. Then I finally got a chance to eat there and the food was terrible quality and overpriced. The employees were rude and completely ruined the holiday for me and my girlfriend. We greeted nicely and seated promptly enough, but there my praises of Leblon Brazilian Steakhouse ends. Actually, the mini pop-overs were delicious, the fried bananas and mashed potatoes were serviceable, BUT... The attraction of a Brazilian Steakhouse is a variety of meat offerings. The meats were of poor quality and extremely over-salted. One gaucho deftly cut me a slab of prime rib I would have serious reservations about giving my dogs. \r \r The highly touted salad bar, had too few offerings, and again, poor quality of most items. \r \r The bill came to over 60$, with water and coffee as beverages, money better spent at any of the many finer restaurants in Greensboro. \r \r Pros: Don't waste your time Cons: Over-salted meat, poor overall food quality more

What a great restaurant. I arranged dinner here for my husbands surprise 40th Birthday and it was a hit. The food was EXCELLENT and it just keeps on coming one dish after another. It was an experience all in itself just to try the different types of meat dishes. If you are a low carbohydrate eater and you can eat a lot of meat this is the place for you. The salad bar is also amazing. Its not your typical green salad, youll find other items like shrimp, beans, oysters and a lot more. I would recommend you give this place a try I dont think you will be disappointed. more
