Love Impulse and Staci!!! - My hair was a wreck when I started seeing Staci. I had tried many different Keratin treatments and straighteners. Over the last year she has worked to find the best processes for my hair. My hair is now healthy, full of body and so easy to style. She is the best!!!!!!! more

Staci did a great job styling my hair. I was in a wedding and not sure what kind of ""updo"" to do and she did a fabulous job!!! I received a lot of compliments on my hair and everyone asked me where I had my hair styled and what was my hairdressers name. So kudos to you Staci. Thanks again for everything. Update:\r \r I had gotten a bad haircut from my regular stylist, Staci, a fews weeks ago and tried to work out a solution to rectify the situation. Staci agreed but management did not. \r \r A few days ago I was called by one of the owners of Impulse Salon, Dawn. She called to apologize for the incident and the way it was handled. She asked me to stop by so that she could look at my hair and try to fix the problem. I asked her how she knew about it because she had been out of town at the time it happened. Staci had come to her because she was upset about the haircut and how it ended for me. \r \r I am so impressed by this gesture; it renews my faith in people (and businesses) to do the right thing. This also speaks volumes about Staci's character and principles. \r \r I am pleased with the results of my trim and will return to Staci in a few months. She has done a good job with my hair in the past and I know she will do so in the future. Everyone makes mistakes. I have a lot of respect for her on how she handled this awkward situation.\r \r Thank you Dawn for caring.\r more

Stacy!! 9/5/2013

STACI IS A ROCK STAR!!! I started coming to Impulse Salon about 4 years ago after someone had absolutely ruined my hair (actually used a razor blade to trim my bangs all the way up to my hair line). I got assigned Staci and THANK GOD I did!! She worked magic and ever since then has been my ""hair fairy"". She always listens to my crazy ideas, shares her expertise as to how to make it into a reality and then executes it flawlessly!! She makes my hair look gorgeous and I leave there feeling brand new. My self-esteem goes through the roof as soon as I leave there because I know my hair looks perfect! If I could fit her in my pocket (and I probably could she's so tiny) I would take her home and have her do my hair every day!! I actually drive 45 minutes every time for my appointment with her as I will see no one else but her; she brings nothing but absolute joy to me and my hair!!! more

I have been going to Impulse over the years and couldn't say a bad word about the salon if I tried. The staff at Impulse is well educated, up to date, and professional. Luxury is the best way to describe Impulse. I have seen Lita, Staci, and Allie for color, blowdrys, cuts, straighteners, etc. Impulse is the best salon out there. more

UPSCALE, UNIQUE, RAVISHING SALON 8/23/2013

As I was going through and reading some of the reviews for Impulse, I noticed a few negative reviews...after reading those I wanted to share my experience and prove those reviews to be complete irrelevant and out dated! The stylists listed in the negative reviews no longer are even working at Impulse, with that being said, there are some great new additions to the fabulous salon. I recently saw Allie for my ombre, keratin straightener, and cut. BY FAR THE BEST MY HAIR HAS LOOKED IN YEARS! All the stylists know how to make me look and feel great every time I come in! Impulse is such a great salon and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone! If you don't believe me, stop by and check it out for yourself. You can feel the friendly professional vibe as soon as you walk in the door! more

OMG, I can't say enough about this salon! I recently moved here and was in desperate need of a stylist to rescue my fine, thin, boring hair. After researching, I made an appointment at Impulse...specifically requesting Michelle because of the reviews (thank you!). From the moment I walked in, I felt at home! Everyone I came in contact with was warm, inviting, upbeat. Michelle was awesome..taking the time to know me and my hair story. We went with her recommendation and I'm happy to say, I now LOVE my hair! I highly recommend Impulse to anyone looking for a salon where people enjoy making their clients happy! more

I've been going to Impulse salon for the past few years to see Staci and I feel so lucky to have found her. She does an amazing job! I trust her to do anything I ask and most of the time I let her pick what she thinks would look best. I can't stress how nice it is to have a hairdresser that I trust and the fact that I am able to sit back and relax without worrying about what the outcome will be. It is also nice that she can do both my cut and my color. \r \r On top of being amazing at doing hair she is also fun to talk to! I am able to relax with a magazine or have a conversation if I want! Perfect, I can't imagine going to anyone else. The salon is nice as well. All in all I would recommend to any of my girl friends! more

April is my hero! She brought my hair back to life and exceeded my expectations. Plus how comfortable she made me feel: asked all the right questions & made all the right suggestions. She refused to let me leave until every hair was perfect, even as I was her last client for that evening.\r \r You can totally tell she loves what she does, not just hair, making people feel better than they ever thought they could...April has a real gift.\r \r P.S. all of the girls are so great, friendly & welcoming. MICHELLE IS AMAZING!. I just got home from getting my second haircut with Michelle at Impulse Salon in East Cobb...and I'm THRILLED with it! I have thick fine blonde colored hair and not too many hair stylists know how to texturize my hair (especially in the Atlanta area)! But, Michelle knew just what to do. She gave me beautiful long layers and bangs which are so in right now. She also took some weight off my hair without thinning it out too much. She's a perfectionist when it comes to getting the layers just right and I really appreciate that! And, she even reminded me to come back after a month so she can trim my bangs for free!\r \r You can't go wrong with any stylist at Impulse...they are all that good! I was treated with much attention, they take their time and don't rush. I would recommend Michelle and Impulse Salon to anyone! more

My Stylist is ERIN KEE, I can not say enough about her. She took my hair and transformed it. I had tried many places/stylist's and once I found her I have remained her forever customer. She is always open to new ideas and has the creative spark to make it happen. I am always getting compliments on my hair (the color and cut) and I am always referring new customers her way because of the service she provides! Thanks Erin!\r PS. I knew during the consultation that Michelle was exceptional. She listened to me complain about my ""old lady hair"" and how tired I was of looking ""dowdy"". She made me feel so confident in her ability; I said ""just do whatever you want"". I knew I looked great and when I arrived at dinner that evening I received the ultimate confirmation when one of my children (normally very critical) exclaimed OMG Mom you look so much younger and CURRENT! The Salon is beautiful and the staff is friendly and professional. In fact after we were through several stylists commented on my beautiful color and cut. Thank you Michelle! more

Michelle is the BEST! 1/10/2011

Michelle is wonderful! I had one of those ""boring"" Bobs and was desperately tryng to find a stylist that could help me have a softer more youthful look. Well I found her! My co-workers tell me I look 10 years younger! The salon is very warm and everyone I met was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Michelle and Impulse Salon. \r \r Excited!\r \r more

Joi and Impulse are the BEST! 9/30/2010

Joi has been cutting my hair (and my husband's) for 30 years!! Don't let the number of years scare you - Joi has stayed young at heart :-). Our daughter, who has always been sort of trendy, got her first haircut with Joi almost 19 years ago. She now makes the trip from UGA to Impulse, bringing her boyfriend in for cuts, too. Joi is funny, caring, and extremely talented, and she stays on the cutting edge (no pun intended) of hair-care and styling. That's why my family has followed her for so many years, making the monthly trek even after we moved to Gwinnett County 20 years ago. more

Thrilled to Find Impulse Salon 8/24/2010

Have you ever woken up and decided you just could not go one more day with your disastrous hair?\r \r That is what happened to me last week. I did some web searching looking for a quality salon I thought would be able to give me a new look. I was pleased to find Impulse Salon. I called and sort of begged for a quick appointment because I was a bit distraught. Michelle squeezed me in that very day. She asked lots of questions and really listened to me before determining what she would do for me. She suggested a conditioning treatment, a fabulous color, and a lighter cut for my out of control curls and bits of gray. I am very happy with the result. Michelle is terrific and so is the receptionist who helped me. I highly recommend Impulse Salon.\r more

Impulse THE best salon 7/17/2010

Impulse was recommended by a friend long ago and I've never looked back. The check in/desk area is friendly with almost an intimate appeal, not initimidating like some major salons like to make theirs. It is like walking in to a friend's house, where you know you'll be welcome and well taken care of. Trendy and hip, you get swept up in a feeling of well being when you are here. All the stylists are experts at what they do so you are never NOT in great hands, whoever you choose. I have been going to Joi for 15 years now and am pleased beyond measure. She ALWAYS makes my day better! The whole experience is an amazing one. They are a Kerastase salon so that is a huge benefit to me also. Their products are the best on the market. That's just not my opinion. If you read any top fashion mags you can't help but see that Kerastase products are at the top of everyone's list now. The products are specific to your needs, curly hair, fine, aging, thick, straight, dry, you name it- they have it. The Kerastase treatments are THE BEST! Great salon, great atmosphere, not to be missed experience! Book now! Pros: Hip and friendly atmosphere, like your friend's house Cons: NONE! more

It was great until my hair turned orange 7/7/2010

I was happy with Impulse until my stylist there turned my hair orange. I went in for a color treatment in between getting highlights. As I was styling my hair the following day (I left the salon with the hair wet), I was disturbed to see that my roots were heinously orange. I spent a lot of money at that salon usually getting the results I asked for, and that's the last thing I anticipated. Pros: Friendly, Professional, Amazing stylists more

Michele is a wonderful stylist. The salon itself has an amazing staff and they really take service to the highest level. It is an enjoyable experience everytime I get my hair done.\r \r Michele is attentive, professional and she REALLY know hair. I have never been more pleased. Impulse...love it! 6/12/2010

I have been going to Impulse for about 9 years now...everytime I walk in the door I know that when I step out I am going to feel beautiful. It's not always about the looks...it is also about how you feel when you have a salon experience and that is what I love most about Impulse. Extra added attraction...I look the best I can look as well. Why would anyone go to any other salon? Enjoy the experience...go to Impulse! Dawn...you rock!
