Stylists are great but front desk not so much 3/15/2009

I have been a customer here in excess of 10 years. But, this salon can't seem to keep consistent, helpful front desk employees. It is difficult to make appointments, especially online, and even when you call to make one or to cancel they make mistakes. Sometimes they act like you are bothering them by asking questions. I love this salon! 3/15/2009

I have been going to this salon for over 3 years. I absolutely love the salon because they are always extremely professional and I always feel like I'm their most important client. I also think of their product Kerestase like I do a food group. My hair has never been healthier.\r \r Ashley is my stylist and she is very talented w/ color. Marietta's Preimiere Salon 3/13/2009

I have been a client at Impulse Salon for 7 years. Through the years I've used more than one stylist and they all have done a great job on my hair. I must admit Leach and Erin are my favorites. Without fail, they focus on me and what I want and need during my appointments. They are ALWAYS current on styles, new cutting techniques, coloring and products. Each and every time I leave the salon I feel great. Until Impulse I never understood what it meant to measure a good haircut by how it looks between cuts. I recommend them to all of my friends. The Perfect Cut 3/9/2009

After 10 years of cutting my own hair I finally gave up this past week and decided to let someone else have the burden. I was so nervous about selecting a place and a stylist since it had been so long and I am new to the Atlanta area. I also wanted an updated look and not some old lady style. Thanks to the wonderful reviews on City Search I chose Impulse and made an appointment with Caroline this past weekend. The wait time was great. Caroline listened to what I wanted and took her time perfecting my look, but it didn't seem like it took forever. In the end I truly have the perfect cut. It was just what i was looking for and she styled it amazing that day. The good news is, a few days later without all the fancy styling, it still looks great with almost no effort. That is especially important to me as a working mother with no time for styling. Everyone was wonderful and put me at ease, even the woman who shampooed my hair. And despite having saved money on this sort of thing this past decade, i will definitely be splurging at Impulse with Caroline in the future. Well worth the expense. more

Amazing Color Specialists 3/7/2009

Recently, I brought my sister to Impulse to get her hair done as a surprise gift. Her hair was very gray. Erin was our stylist, and she did an amazing job of picking a color and matching my sister's skin tone. My sister looked 10 years younger. I dont know what the below comment is talking about. I had the best experience every at Impulse salon. From the girl that shampooed to Leah who did the most fabulous job on my hair. She got done quickly and we had the best conversation. The salon's over all vibe was great, and yes I would recommend Impuls eto everyone and especially Leah for the best color and cut I have evr received! Pros: Leah Cons: nothing more

I recently saw Joi at impulse and her attitude and of the other girls was unacceptable. I dont know how they have been in business this long they are the rude, stuck up and she didnt even do great hair . i would not recommend this place to anyone!!!! Cons: everything more

Zahra is the Best 2/27/2009

I changed salons about a year ago and started using Zahra @ Impulse. She is absolutely the best. She colors, highlights and cuts my hair in less than 2 hours which is 2 hours less than any other salon. Her personality is infecftious and I truly enjoy coming to the Salon. I have had more comments on my color and cut since Zahra started doing my color and cut. The Salon is so professional but yet not stand-offish at all. Everyone is so friendly. I wouldn't trade Zahra and her assistant Sarah for anyone. They are the best! more

First Visit 2/25/2009

After receiving a not so good cut at another salon, Impulse Salon and Caroline came highly recommended. I went this past Saturday and came out feeling like a whole new person. My cut was corrected and my ongoing color issues were discussed. I feel like I have discovered one of Marietta's best kept secrets!! I went ahead and booked my next color appointment right then.\r Great atomsphere and I intend to discuss the products when I return. Also, the salon is a good distance from my home but I feel the trip is well worth it for the satisfaction I got.\r \r more

The Best Salon I have found yet! 2/22/2009

I am so excited. I went to Impulse to try someone new. My appointment was set up with Caroline. I was extremely nervous and I told her that as soon as I met her. Caroline immediately put me at ease. She listened to me rant and rave about nerves, my hair, and what the girl I used to see did. She listened and made great suggestions about what to do and I LOVE MY HAIR. I dont know what kind of magic dust was sprinkled over my head but my hair has never looked so good. I made a color appointment and I am returning next week. Loved the experience and the service. So I have been going to the same h airdresser for years and she retired. I was soooo nervous bc I am so picky about my hair. I was recommended to Leah @ Impulse and I thought I would give her a shot. I AM SO GLAD I DID! She made me feel comfortable and did an amazing job! Leah at Impulse is the best for color ever! She did exactly what I wanted and I would definitely go back to her. \r The overall experience at Impulse was so comforting and vibrant. Everyone was so sweet. I would recommend this salon 2/9/2009

I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone! Everything was amazing including service, personalities and the atmosphere. The only downfall to my experience was my stylist Neely She was great but at times I felt like she was rushed and could have been more thorough. Impulse is a busy place with many friendly faces, during my visit i was greeted by a host of wonderful stylest's with many unique talents. i was treated special by all of the employees and recieved without a doubt the best haircut of my life, i recomend this salon to anyone looking for quality cuts with well trained professionals. the atmosphere engulfs you right when you walk in the door with a clean neat lobby and a cheerful hello from whoever may be working at the time. Impulse hair salon rocks my socks and you must be foolish to go anywhere else for any of your hair needs. Pros: Everything about the salon is wonderful Cons: Nothing seems to be wrong more

Amazing Hair Salon 1/17/2009

I would like to comment on the rude opinion of allstar44 about Impulse salon and her comments about one of the best hairstylists in town, Lindsey. I'm sure most people know to consider the source with allstar44. She probably was always 44th in everything she's ever done. Impulse has a number of talented hairstylists and I don't recall a single time I was there, in the past 8 years, that the salon was DIRTY. Impulse is very upscale, fabulous, stylish salon that I highly recommend. I have been coming to see Joi for years and I absolutely love her! She always knows what is in style and what looks great for me! I love coming to the salon because I truly feel at home.
