Great hightlights and hair cut with Erin! 6/12/2007

I had my hair cut and highlighted today with Erin. She did a fabulous job. I had been trying quite a few salons in the area, but could not find anyone that really did what I wanted. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for great, natural looking highlights and hair cut. I am so excited to find a great salon!! Pros: Nice environment and very knowledgeable staff. Love the Kerastase products too! Cons: None that I could see. more

I have been going to see Ramona Plesa for the last year. I?ve been to all the big name salons in Atlanta looking for someone who can get it right. Ramona knows what is cool and her hairstyles reflect that. She?s creative, smart, and has a flair for the dramatic. If you want basic brown and boring bangs go see someone else. Don?t waste her time or talent. more

Bad Expierence 6/4/2007

I hate to be negative, but I went to Ramona and have regretted it every day since then. I was given the worst bangs I have ever seen. No thought was put into how they would be cut, and it seemed to be impossible for her to give me a nice brown shade. I was either black haired or blonde. Will not be going back. more

Nealie Carrier is an amazing stylist! My hair has never looked better. Color, cut, style, everything was perfect. Her assistant is just absolutely adorable and gives the BEST shampoo ever! Pros: the list is endless... Cons: none that I could see. more

Zahra - the best colorist/stylist in the ATL!!! 5/24/2007

I've been going to Zahra for almost 3 1/2 years. Between her color expertise and the Kerastase products she's got me hooked on, my hair looks better today than it ever has. My boyfriend loves my long blonde mane and everyone thinks I'm a real blonde....shhhh, don't tell ; ) Whether you're looking for classic or funky styles, Zahra does it all! I trust her completely. Look at it this way: your hair is THE accessory that you wear every single day. It shouldn't look ""good""...it should look ""fabulous""!!! Always a good experience! 5/24/2007

I've been a customer for 6 years and have been extremely pleased. I always get compliments on my cut and my highlights! Maria is my stylist and she not only listens and keeps it really simple as I like it, but keeps my cut current and fun. The spa is also wonderful. I have been a customer at Impulse for ten years. I have curly hair and it is hard to find someone who is skilled at cutting and highlighting curly hair! Lita does a great job, I alwasy get commetns on how nice the highlights look. I am never kept waiting for appointments, it is alwasy a pleasant experience going there. more

Impulse Salon 5/22/2007

I have been to so many salons in my life with so many different stylists. I have never stayed with one stylist as long as I have been with Dawn at Impulse. I feel she really takes the time to listen to you and then offers suggestions after getting your input. I have gotten the best cut and color, and people are always asking me where I got my hair done.I don't like to tell them because then it will be hard for me to get an appointment. But I do tell them, and advise them that they can try any of the stylists. It is always such a pleasure to walk into Impulse as everyone treats you like you are an old friend. Even though I have moved from East Cobb, I will continue to use their services. more

Pamper yourself! 5/22/2007

This is the place to pamper yourself! I look forward to the head and neck massage you get while having your hair washed! I've always been happy with who I have seen at Impulse. My daughter now goes and loves it as well. They are professional, attentive and give good ideas to refresh your style/color/highlights. I would recommend this salon to anyone! more

All around BEST Salon! 5/21/2007

I moved here 2 years ago so nervous I wouldn't find a salon/stylist that I loved. Any woman is always worried about having someone new cut hair and especially color. However, after a couple of people recommended the salon to me I decided to make the appointment. The staff is down to earth the decor is beautiful and the price is right! I get compliments on my highlights all the time. It is definitely worth the try! We are happy Dawn is back!!!! Pros: Very friendly and professional Cons: Sometimes hard to get an appointment but worth the wait more

Best Hair Salon 5/21/2007

From the minute I walk through the door of Impulse, I know I'm going to be treated as if I were the only client there. Lita is always on top of her game and excited to be working on me! We laugh, we talk, and in the meantime, she is creating. She has a fabulous sense of style and what works best. Lita is always accommodating and will work with you. My foils are always beautiful. Down to earth environment 5/21/2007

My hair ""therapist"" is Crystal. She is the BEST! Have been using her for years and she always makes me look wounderful. I love the atmosphere, the cookies and drinks. Close to home, I still get ""Buckhead"" attention without the drive. And best of all, no one looks at me crazy when I come in in cut off bluejeans and no shower. great spa and salon 5/2/2007

I have been going to Impulse for a couple of years and I've always loved my cut and color and the price is great. Beyond the salon, you can get an out-of-this world massage. I have travelled all over the U.S. visiting top spas and having massages. The massages here can't be beat. If you need some pampering (and who doesn't) you must go. Impulse Salon is so stylish, upbeat, clean, friendly, and beyond courteous. Besides being THE BEST hairdressers in the south, they are accomodating to almost any schedule. The working woman has no excuse!\r \r I used to be a salon owner years ago in New Orleans, La. and I can tell you from experience, this salon goes to the Max to treat their clients special in every aspect.\r \r They are a full service salon and spa and should be recognized in Atlanta as in the TOP!\r \r My hat is off to them, especially now since I have a great haircut and style..... Worth the trip! A high end salon with very reasonable prices. 5/2/2007

Even with all the high end salons on my end of town...I drive the 45 minutes it takes me in Atlanta traffic to get to Impulse Salon. I have learned to just make a day of it. I know without question I am going to LOVE my hair when they are finished,so I make it a point to take my new hair cut shopping before driving back home. I have tried some of the other salons closer to home, but have always left disappointed. Dawn has been doing my hair now for a few years. She is also the one who straightens it. I have been nothing but completely satisfied. There have been a few times when I have had to use one of the other stylist due to Dawn's busy schedule, but even they have been top notch. From the women who greet you at the front desk, to the stylist's assistants to the numerous wonderful stylists...everyone is warm, welcoming and eager to please. Now...if they would just serve a yummy adult beverage to go along with the wonderful atmosphere....Martini's and manicures anyone??? Pros: It's like spending an afternoon with girlfriends...relaxing, enjoyable and fun! Cons: Since they are so well loved, you can't just make a spur of the moment appointment. more

Best Highlights & Color-Crystal! 5/2/2007

Friendly, professional salon with great stylists. Crystal Cain has been doing my highlights , cut & color for 8 years-perfectly! Never once have I been unhappy. She knows what she's doing and is delightful, friendly, sweet & cute. Always prompt, pleasant & professional. My only complaint about the salon is the sink they wash your hair in. They are new, but uncomfortable and I always get wet! Please replace these! Other friends go here for hair straightening by Dawn and are also thrilled! Hair cut $ Color at Affordable Prices!! 9/25/2006

I went to this salon for the first time and had Coco Kootsillas cut my hair and color it...She did a fabulous cut and the color was also fabulous!! The salon was a very warm feeling along with the people being very friendly...I will definitely be going back to Coco!! Another great thing about this salon is that inside you can also pamper yourself with Skincare by Gabriela to massages to hair removal etc...A high class salon at VERY AFFORDABLE PRICES!!
