Sure, it is close to Berkeley. Sure, the staff members are friendly and nice. However, there is nothing positive about this place that can make up for the fact that the walls are paper thin. In fact, I'm not sure that something in the structure (the very high ceilings?) doesn't amplify the sound. Two nights now I have been woken up by my neighbor's television at 3:30 in the morning. The vacuum in the hallway sounds like an airplane engine. Someone getting ice from the machine 5 rooms away sounds like machine gun fire. And I wear earplugs.
