Brittany Morris is the BEST!!!! 7/13/2009

G Patton salon is a great place to relax and get your hair done by expert stylists. It is fun, hip, modern, and unlike any other salon around Norfolk. These stylists really know what they are doing. I get my hair done by Brittany Morris and she is by far the best person who has done my hair. She is very intelligent on what is right or wrong for your hair and what is going to look good or bad. She asks the right questions to figure out what you want and don't want and what will fit your daily routine. Also, she recommends great products that actually work! I have really curly hair and she has controlled my hair instead of making it bigger and more frizzy. If you want Brittany to give you an up-do she can do those too very well! I always walk out of the salon feeling 10x better than when I walked in. She is the best! Schedule an appointment today with Brittany Morris! You will not be disappointed! Pros: EVERYTHING Cons: cannot find any more

I wish I had found them sooner! 2/18/2009

I donated my hair back in July and hadn't been happy with the results since. After trying three different stylists, I finally went to see Glen at G Patton and absolutely love him! I put my full faith in him on our first visit and got amazing results!!! I'm so happy I found Glen and highly recommend him. more

I had a hard time booking an earlier appointment, but was well worth the wait, comfortable yet trendy atmosphere with great staff, recently moved here from Charlotte and I'm glad I found this salon. Pros: great hair cut Cons: nothing more

Brittany is AMAZING! 10/11/2008

Britany is great, I knew her when she lived in Elizabeth City, NC. She then got a job with TIGI and moved away. I could never find a stylist in Elizabeth City like her. Now she is back and I will drive to G Patton to get my hair done by her. She is one that if you go in not knowing exactly what you want you will leave feeling amazed. She is really great with curly hair, which I do have. It is so hard finding someone who knows how to cut curly hair, and all of you out there with curls know what I am talking about. She can do anything with your hair. She is also really great at color, she knows what will work with you and how to make things work for you that you want. My hair has been damaged over the last couple of years while I was trying to find a new stylist. Brittany has already fixed so much after one visit! Everyone noticed my hair the next day even my husband, and my guy friends at work said it looked great. I can guarantee you will not be dissapointed going to her. She is the best!! more

... now everyone knows. Angel Blackman has been my stylist for the last 7 years and I have never in my life gotten so many compliments on my hair. You see - I have really fine hair - you know the kind of hair your three year old has. Exceptionally cute on babies but not so cute on 40 something women. more

This was my first time going to G Patton Salon, I don't think I'll go anywhere else! I walked in with medium length thin hair. Jessica Abrahante hooked my hair up!! From the moment I sat in her chair she made me feel like a movie star! Jessica took her time and she did an amazing color job. She made my hair short and sassy! I absolutely love my new hair style, and will recommend Jessica and G Patton Salon to everyone. more

I have been going to Glen for years. He always gives me an original, updated look with a great cut and color. I love seeing what he has done with the salon. I feel like I am back on Chicago's Magnificent Mile. All the stylists are friendly and professional. more

I always leave G Patton Salon very pleased!!! Bruce and Glenn NEVER disappoint! Bruce has a great sense of color and is confident and knowledgeable about his suggestions for my hair, and is never pushy. After 12 years, I can definitely say that Glenn?s cuts are very edgy, precise and flawless?I have never been dissatisfied! more

I recently switched to G Patton salon after going to the same salon for 4 years. I felt as though when I went to my former salon, I was always walking out with the same cut and color. When I would ask my former stylist what they thought I should do with my hair to spice it up, the ideas were limited and all sounded the same to me. At G Patton salon, I can say, ""What do you think I should do to bring out certain features?"" and I receive at least three different ideas to choose from. The stylists try to get to know you to see what hairstyle fits your personality. I always know I will walk out with something I love and it is always different than the time before. I have recieved so many compliments since I switched salons and its all thanks to the stylists at G Patton salon knowing what they are doing and how to cater to their customers. Pros: Everything more

Get a fantastic haircut !! 9/5/2008

I relocated to this area about 3 years ago from NYC & have been in continuous & frustrating search for a hairstylist who has not only the experience but the patience and understanding of how my hair would look best. Jessie fits the bill to a tee. She was warm, friendly & informative. I gave her a picture of my favorite celebrity hairstyle & I walked out of the salon feeling red carpet ready. I highly recommend this salon & especially Jessie to those out there accustomed to or want to become acquainted with big city hair in an unpretentious urban atmosphere. more

amazing biz 9/3/2008

i was surprised to find out that gpatton salon was actually a co-op business with all the stylist being individual in the salon. the stylist all function for the greater good of the salon and it really shows. the staff was friendly. i was asked on 3 seperate occassions if i wanted a beverage and they had current magazines. My stylist was also on top of the latest styles and actually listened to me and gave me his own suggestions. i left feeling hip and i also left with some new music suggestions for my ipod. What a cool team of artists. i highly recommend g patton salon! Pros: the whole experience Cons: took some time to get in...i booked ahead though for next time more

I have found my stylist! 9/3/2008

After years of having the same stylist, and loving her work, she moved away. I began my search for a new hair stylist only to go through numerous over priced hair cuts, inexperienced stylists, and way too many just plain terrible hair cuts. I was just getting ready to give up and settle for a continual Doris Day drab style, when I was referred to Jessie Santiago by a close friend with great hair. Pros: Knowledge of hair, Ambience, Time usage, Comfortability Cons: Location is not very close to my home. more

Jessie at G Patton is the only person in AMERICA who I let touch my hair. Since I've come to the states she's been my hairstylist and has never given my a bad haircut. I've driven all my friends to her. If you go to G Patton ask for Jessie. She's awesome. more

Jessie does my hair 9/2/2008

Jessie Santiago does my hair and I would like to say that she has been doing my hair for a few years, I have never received a below perfect hairstyle, cut or color by her. She has made me feel absolutely beautiful every time I have ever gone to see her, She always gives me a great scalp and neck massage during my shampoo. I was referred to her after going to Changes salon and getting my hair ruined and paying too much for it. I haven't been to anyone but her ever since. She is an amazing hairstylist and not only is she very good at her job she is also extremely educated. She always has something new and exciting for me each and every time I see her. The salon she works in is awesome. The decor is always changing to look updated. The magazines are always up to date and there is always a huge variety to choose from. I never knew how beautiful I could look until she showed me a few SUPER SIMPLE hair and makeup techniques that I can do myself everyday. I believe anyone in this salon would be great, but I love her!!!! Pros: THE DECOR, JESSIE, GLENN Cons: THERE WAS NOTHING TO DRY MY HANDS OFF IN THE BATHROOM. NO BIGGIE!!! more

A WONDERFUL STAFF 9/2/2008

I want to first begin with the fact that i received a wonderful haircut from this salon but the thing that I was most pleased with was the professionalism in the staff of people that were working. The first thing i noticed was that everyone looked very skilled, well dressed, well spoken and well mannered. There was fun music playing and great laughter and conversation between the stylists and the clients. I have been to other independent contractor salons and they just didn't seem to have it put together quite like Gpatton salon. I actually was surprised to learn that everyone there was their own business. It had the look of a well groomed very polished space that was very well taken care. I was offered wine,coffee, or water. I asked for water and even that was brought to me in a cute cup filled with crushed ice and a straw. I was impressed with the front desk people and how I was addressed ASAP! The furniture was clean and comfy and so were the shampoo sinks, they were absolutely amazing. I would recommend this salon to anyone and WILL ABSOLUTELY return to my hairstylist. great salon 9/2/2008

i decided to do box color at home and it was a disaster. Some recommended glenn the salon owner, but he couldnt work me in. He suggested Casey. When i got to the salon Glenn snuck a few minutes and consulted with Casey and me. The color was amazing and it didnt cost a lot. Glenn has a thorough and thoughtful staff. the salon was hip and full of energy. I am now a g patton girl! Im definately coming back Pros: knowledgable and friendly more

Skill, Style and Substance 9/2/2008

My experience at this salon has been absolutely wonderful. The whole time i was there, i saw amazing teamwork between the stylists and a terrific attitude from everyone working there. The music is upbeat and appropriate, the service very personal and attentive, and the hair itself is better than i imagined it would be. Everyone that i saw walk out the door seemed happy to be there and happy with what they were given. I was greeted right away, my stylist offered to bring me a drink or a magazine, and made great conversation while i was in her chair. All in all, i highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants to experience a truly upscale, stylish salon. Pros: atmosphere, service and skill more
