Great salon / Erin is awesome! 1/6/2010

Erin Jones has been my stylist for a couple of years and she does a great job with highlights and cuts. I'm even bringing my 14 year old son to her for a ""hip"" haircut. Salon atmosphere is cool. Nice place. more

Jessica saved my hair!!! 1/4/2010

About 6 months ago I had the worst salon experience. I went into the salon wanting a color change and came out with hair that was severely damaged and the color well... You get the story. Then about a week ago my friend recommended jessica to me. I was a bit specticle, but I thought why not give it a try. As I sat in her chair I explained what I wanted to accomplish with my hair, and she listened! By the time I left, the cut and the color was exactly what I was looking for. My hair feels better than it has in a long time. THANKS JESSICA!!! more

I went to see Jessica Abrahante with a friend of mine for the first time today, and she transformed both of our hair cuts into brilliant pieces of art. She can do wonders with scissors, hair dryers, a great personality!!! She has a natural born since of style, and she transfers that into her work! She just gets what you want when you explain it, and gives you exactly that!Beautiful!!! Jessica you're the BEST! Pros: Big, Compfortable, Warm, Ellegant, Tasteful, etc... Cons: nothing more

Jessica Abrahante is a miracle worker!! I never thought my hair could look so beautiful!!! I mean ""Movie Star"" quality!!! My hair was in the worst shape possible. I thought the only hope for it was to shave it and start new. Jessica put time, a lot of work, and precision on my hair. I can not find the words to explain how wonderful she is . It looked like a piece of artwork when she was done. She turned me around to look in the mirror, and I cried instantly when seeing what she had created! My hair has been repaired beyond belief! I LOVE IT, I LOVED THE SALON, AND JESSICA I LOVE YOU TOO!!! Pros: Those hands, and the Masterpeice they create!!!! Cons: there are none!!! more

Jessica is wonderful. She always does an excellent job on my hair and I am constantly changing my sytles, colors, etc. She knows how to take your vision and put it to action based on your face and what works best. I completely trust her and appreciate her talents!\r more

Today was my first experience going to G Patton Salon. Was nervous because I have never been there to get my hair cut. I explained in detail what I wanted and when the cut was over I looked like a new man. I look so sexy. Other salons could never compare to G Patton Salon. I recommend that everyone should go to G Patton Salon. The hair cut was great and the atmosphere was...words can't explain...took my breath away. If you decide to go to G Patton Salon ask for Jessica Abrahante. I will only go to her now because that girl can work wonders. I love you Jessica and G Patton Salon!!! = ) Pros: BEST SALON IN THE CITY!!! more

I'm the kind of girl that has never had a lot of work done on my hair. I've always dyed it myself at home and I always got friends to trim it. But I started thinking about how good it would make me feel to look a little more glamorous. So I started asking my friends and coworkers where they go and I got referred to Carla. She is so nice and really helpful. She knew what I wanted and help me figure out the look I was going for. I completely trust her with my hair. She made me feel very comfortable during my first salon dying experience. Now I want to keep coming back and I will always want Carla to maintain my look. I finally have a hairdresser!!! Liz is a hair guru!! My daughter and I have been going to Liz for years. She always knows what I mean even when I'm not sure how to explain it. My daughter donates her hair to Locks of Love, so Liz cuts it cute, short and unique. (She's 11). My daughter loves her! Me - my hair is always just right. Never boring or conservative....never too short....I'm always happy with it. Wouldn't go anywhere else. more

Glenn's been cutting my hair for years. Absolutely love his new salon; great staff; cool place; great vibe. He is the best around; I get more compliments on my hair/color from people. If you want a cool, funky style this is the place for you. If you want boring; dowdy then don't go here. Pros: hip, friendly and stylish more

Finally, a place where beauty comes first. Glenn has been doing my hair for nearly 10 years. I've followed him where ever he's gone and finally he's created something unique and personal.\r \r I am constantly getting compliments on my color and cut...I can walk out of my house without blowdrying my hair and it still looks fabulous.\r \r I feel special when I walk in and when I walk out of the salon...it doesn't get any better than this!\r \r I recommend gpatton salon any chance I get and have referred many clients to Glenn, from all over Hampton Roads and they thank me all the time.\r \r gpatton ROCKS! Since heading to GPatton and becoming a client of Glenns I am constantly getting stopped and asking who does my hair, if my color is natural, how often I get it cut, how it maintains so much shine, etc. the compliements are insanely wonderful ( My hair is now insanely wonderful)! The best! 9/29/2009

Glenn has skills! Other stylists at other shops would listen to what I wanted and immediately run for the clipper guards. Glenn took the time and put in the effort to CUT my hair the way it should be done. No other stylists had ever used his techniques and I could see the difference. G. Patton Rocks! 9/22/2009

I've followed Glenn around since 1997, when my former stylist moved away, saying, ""Glenn will take good care of you."" She was sooooo right! I have never had a problem; I get all kinds of compliments; and I always feel confident as a result. Here's the acid test — if I'm out of town for some other reason I have to go an extra week or two between appointments, my hair STILL looks good. Now that's what I call a GREAT cut! G.Patton Salon is friendly, lively and always attentive to my needs. Why on earth would I go anywhere else? Pros: personal attention, quality service Cons: Make an appointment before you leave! more

i have worked at g patton salon for 2 yrs now. As a stylist i want to give my review from my point of view. Glenn Hawker gave me, as well as many other stylists an amazing oppurtunity at his salon. He has always been fair and giving to the staff and is very passionate about his salon. HE DOES NOT TOLERATE RUDENESS TO EACH OTHER OR CLIENTS IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM. HIS INTERACTION WITH HIS CLIENTS AND CLIENTS OF THE SALON HAS ALWAYS BEEN IMPECCABLE. GLENN, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOU DO AND HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY!!! YOU'RE THE BEST!!! more

Frontrunner 9/19/2009

GPatton is a Big City Salon with a sincere neighborhood feel. Glen and Bruce do my hair and since my first transformation by them my hair is AWESOME. I'm a Bartender and my hair has to always look good...it is so easy to do because of the great cut and hot new color job I got. Everywhere I go people always ask me where I got my hair done...even on those wash and let dry naturally days....you know it is great when you can do that...definately visit Bruce and Glen and you WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE.....I lived in NYC and GPatton most definately is on that level Pros: Big city work going on with community feel.. love this salon! 9/16/2009

I recently moved to VA and was worried about leaving my stylist that I had been with for over 4 years. Someone recommended that I see Glenn at G Patton and I am so glad that they did! I tell him what look I'm going for, and he gives great feedback on how a certain style would look on me. I'm currently growing out my hair and bangs, but you would never know it! Glenn somehow makes the awkward transition stages of growing it all out into a great, manageable style. The salon itself is modern, full of energy and friendly people. Feel like a Rock Star, Look like a Movie Star 7/15/2009

My hair was a mess when I started going to Matt at G Patton. I, like many women, had started to believe that nothing cold be done to make my hair look good. I had been to countless salons where I wasn't listened to and ended up spending money to feel horrible about myself. Matt listened to me , made some simple suggestions, and before I knew it he had my hair figured out. I walked out looking and feeling like a movie star. I would never go anywhere else now! Everyone there is so friendly and helpful; it's like going to see my friends when I get my hair cut.
