Do not use them. They are horrible with delivery. One time they just showed up without an appointment to deliver back my cleaned rugs. Then, when you make an appointment, they don't show up. It happened twice with me. Also, they ruined my dining room rug. They tried to fix it but it's really unfixable. I called three times to get a refund and complain but no one calls me back. I just filed a complaint with the BBB. more

Terrific company, the cleaning technician answered all my questions I had before cleaning my sofas, love seat, and dining room chairs. I was very uncertain if I even wanted everything cleaned because I was afraid it would ruin the fabric of the upholstery. I am very happy that I chose Flat Rate Carpet to clean my carpet and my sofa. Two very nice men came over; they were so motivated and friendly. They let me know how they were going to deep clean my carpets in my living room and dining room along with my sofa. They picked up my rug almost 2 months ago, dont know where it is, never call back and try and scam you on prices. They started work without an estimate and tried to charge me for all of it. My area rugs were in desperate need for a cleaning. I have bad allergies, and I was looking online to see what companies do Organic cleaning. I called up Flat Rate Carpet, talked to the helpful staff and they made me feel comfortable in their products they use. I made an appointment later that same day to have someone come over for a free estimate. A cleaner came by within the 2 hour time period they gave me, he gave me a price, then took it to the factory. The area rugs were delivered back to me within 1 week. I am very happy with how great my carpets look, and even happier they use organic products! My dog released himself on my grandmother’s Persian rug. My wife was in hysterics since this rug is of great sentimental value. My son was visiting me, and found Flat Rate Carpets online, and quickly called for the soonest appointment. That evening a technician came, assured my wife they would do everything they could to reverse what my dog. He gave me a very decent price, and took the rug to the factory. Thirteen days later, the carpet came back nicer than I believe I have ever seen it before. I scheduled an appointment with Flat Rate Carpet and they didn't even bother to show up. There was no notification that the appointment was canceled even though I had given them all my info (including cell and email!). When I called the next day, they would neither offer an explanation as to their no-show nor would they compensate me with a discount. Will be taking my business elsewhere. When my son wanted a puppy I thought it would be good for him, turn out it was a lot of extra work for me. The puppy is great, but in the time it took to house train him he peed everywhere. He even managed to chew up the corner of an expensive rug that we had rolled up and put away to keep it safe from our little fire hydrant. We called Flat Rate Carpet and they came out that day. They cleaned and deodorized the couches and took our rug to be repaired. The smell and stains are gone for good and the rug was as good as new when it came back. The rug is still in storage away from our teething dog, but thanks to Flat Rate Carpet the house will last long enough for the puppy to become a dog! more

We have a new puppy, and he took a special liking to our loveseat. This company came and got the dog smell out. Unfortunately the puppy reclaimed his favorite spot. The pipes burst in our apartment two Sundays ago, and no other company would come to rescue us from the inch of water soaking our carpets, rugs and furniture. Flat Rate Carpet was at our home within the hour. They got rid of all the water, and we haven't had any problems with mold, stains or mildew. This company is the best for emergencies. We went on vacation and my sons threw a party. Of course things got out of hand, and when we came home our carpets were covered in muddy footprints and what I can only guess were stains from spilled drinks. I called the cleaners and they shampooed my carpets until it looked like the party never took place. And although my sons still claim it never happened, the price was so good the boys are paying for the cleaning out of their allowances. These guys are clueless. They originally gave us a 10 day estimate. 3 weeks later when we call they can't even let us know the status of our rug because ""they are having phone problems"". After a month we manage to schedule delivery. ""Between 11am and 1pm Friday"". 5pm rolls around and we still haven't heard from them. As promised, here is my follow up: DON'T USE THESE GUYS!!!!!!!! The manager told us they would have someone at our place on Wednesday between 8 and 10 to assess the damage and try to repair the couch (probably because they already charged my credit card $650). The service guy called at 10:30, informing me that his van broke down and that he would come some time later in the day. I called the manager to ask him what was the problem? He told me ^&%$ happens. Not the answer I was looking for. We have hired another company and we are sending these guys the bill. Pros: Successful at ruining a $2,500 couch! They also claim to clean mattresses, I recently got my mattress cleaned by them and I can say truly they suck. Don't believe the advertisement or what they tell you. In the advertisment it says they use organic products and that it will make your mattress even heathier than when you purchased it. Soooo.....not true. The technician tells you it will take 3-4 hours for your mattress to dry. Once again....soooo....not true. When you call to complain that your mattress is still wet after 4 hours, they will tell you over the phone (after the fact of course) that it could take 48 hours. Not only that, the smell from the chemicals they use is not organic...the chemical smell is horrible and it will irritate your skin. The technician will tell you call the office if there are any problems. I can tell you customer satisfaction is not guaranted and I can tell you first hand that if you get your mattress cleaned by them you will sooo...regret it.They are sooo....nice at first but then when you call to complain that you are no way satisifed they are sooo....not nice. more

Found them on the web. Checked BBB and there were no complaints so contacted them. Got an email saying they tried to call me but got no answer. My phone shows missed calls and there were none but I decided to get an estimate. Came and gave me an estimate for deep cleaning carpets and furniture, scotch guarding and carpet repair. I said I wanted to think about it . They then called me with a cheaper price. The guy showed up when he was supposed to and said the price only included scotch guarding for furniture. Charged me another $100 for carpets. When everything dried, I saw that not only were spots still there but there were new ones (water stains?) I made an appointment for a redo. They called me on the day of the redo to say they weren't coming. I got angry and they finally agreed to come at 5pm. The guy came but said he wasn't going to do the redo, just check the work. He made another appointment for me for a week later. I called twice the day of the new appointment to confirm and find out the time. Both times they said they would call me back in 5 minutes and didn't. The third time I called, they told me they weren't coming. I told them I was contacting the BBB and my credit card company. While I was talking to my credit card company, they called and said they were coming. I told them to forget it but they insisted. They came and did a decent job. The next day they called me back and left a message to call. When I did, they asked me if I was satisfied. I told them there was one area they missed and they said they wanted me to be happy and made an appointment for today. They called me today to say they weren't coming on account of weather. The weather is great today. i don't know what they are talking about and I've had it with them. Pros: eventually got some spots out Cons: terrible 1st job, never kept redo appointments more
