A Second Chance 7/29/2010

I've been to this place several times now and like the reviews here (either 5-star or 1-star), Flamin Grill has been every up and down. However, recently, it was passed to new management so I decided to give it a second chance. The service was much better and we got the food much faster (less than 10 minute wait). The actual food was really excellent and new. I think anybody who has had a bad experience here might want to give it a second chance. more

There was blood in my chicken 5/8/2010

We had a horrible experience last night.We ordered the ground beef kabob platter, Chicken charga and fries.We had to wait 40 mins for our food.When we went to pick it up, they dropped the platter on the floor picked it up and gave it to us.As were extremely hungry we dug into the food.The fries and nan were cold.There was BLOOD in the chicken.It was uncooked.The kabobs also were not cooked properly.It was a nightmarish experience we would not want to repeat.I feel so bad my 2 year old had to to endure the torture too. more

Wonderful! Something for everyone! 3/24/2010

Everyone in my family loved the food we had last week at Flamin' Grill. (And you know what picky eaters kids can be!) The Chicken Tikka was delicious, with a generous side of Naan Bread. The Chai Tea was complimentary--such a treat. One of our group had the Beef Kabob and enjoyed it. I tried a taste, and it was good. And the rice was spectacular. The kids had the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich (it looked so good--I think I'll order that next time), Fish Sandwich (on a ciabbata roll--yum), and Hot Wings. This hard-to-please crowd left stuffed. The restaurant is clean, well-lighted, and comfortable. Our family will definitely be eating at the Flamin' Grill again--SOON. Pros: great food, fast service, reasonable prices Cons: none--it was a total pleasure more

Everything is on the menu is GREAT! 3/22/2010

I'm very happy this place opened so close to my house. The service is great, the place is clean, and the food is delishious. It's a great place for the entire family to enjoy. They have so many options, everyone is bound to find something they like. I'm a huge fan of the chicken kabob, my husband loves the burgers. We will be going back again and again. AMAZING, GREAT, FAST! 3/11/2010

I have been there for lunch and dinner and both times had a wonderful time. The employment staff is great and so are the owners. I had the Beef Kabob Platter for lunch and was worth every penny. It came out fast and had plenty of food. Would definately recommend this meal. I also went for dinner another time and had the Chargah and have never had anything like it. It was simply amazing. I also tasted part of my wife's burger and it was pretty good too. I definately recommend anyone looking for some great grilled food to check out Flamin Grill in Round Rock. Pros: great food and service Cons: none as of yet more

Don't waste your money on this place!! 3/6/2010

My wife and I went to the Flamin Grill yesterday. Worst meal I ever had... this is not just a line. This was the worst meal. My wife ordered the fish and chips. $8.99 when she got her meal we could not believe how SMALL the three pieces of fish were. The were only one inch long... come on this was suppost to be a meal not an appetiezer. The fish was soggy! I ordered a panini with and order of fried zuchinni. The zuchinni was NOT deep fried and it was limp, soogy and disgusting. I don't know how they could server such trash. My panini was also very soggy. I will NEVER go back and will tell everyone I know to stay away from the Flamin Grill Cons: pricey, poor quality more

I had a fantastic garlic bread/tortilla appetizer and FRESH Kabobs. The wait staff behind the counter was nice, the place was immacuately clean and the food came out FAST. Perfect for that quick lunch. more

terrible place! stay away! 3/2/2010

My very first visit. I order the lamb chops, it says $8.99 on the menu. I order 4 orders of it, 3 to go, and 1 to eat there. The owner says the price is actually $10.99 and he didn't have the time to change the price on the menu. I tell him, the price is $8.99 and I dont think he should charge me anymore than it says, he should make corrections on the menu if it is different. He says try one first and if you like it he will make me more for the to go order. On the menu it says 3 pieces of lamb chops and hes argument was he switched to really big pieces and hence the price increase. I order 2 half pieces of tandoori chicken to go. Result: He charges me $10.99 for the 1 order of lamb chops I received which tasted terrible. The lamb chops looked like he cut up ONE chop into 4 pieces and made a plate out of it. The tiniest things I have ever seen. He said he could'nt find the so called massive pieces of chops he mentioned earlier and decided to give me 4 of the tiny pieces instead of 3. The to go order after i got home had two orders of a quarter chicken and not half a chicken. I am extremely disappointed in this place and will never ever go back or recommend it to anyone.
