A friend of mine showed up for her appointment at Diva's to look at bridal gowns June 23rd '07 in the morning. The counter girl was rude and unresponsive, didn't look at my friend or ask her what her tastes were, asked her immediately how much she had to spend and then told my friend that she probably wouldn't be able to find anything in that range. However my friend was determined to have a good time and tried on a few dresses hoping to find one which might look good (which the girl wouldn't help her pick out or look at). She found one dress that she loved but the price was too pricey for her. The ""assistant"" told her things like ""If you service hotdogs at your reception, you might be able to afford this dress."", ""Isn't there anyone you can call to get the money?"" and ""The wedding is all about the dress anyway."" I guess if you charge enough for dresses, you're given carte blanche to be rude and mean. My friend went to David's Bridal where the consultant was communicative, consciensious and ended up picking out the dress my friend bought.
