Cinderella Cakes

Owners are rude! Website for RSM store reads they have small pre-made cakes ready to go. Also reads they are open on Sundays. Went on Mother's Day, was told they were out of cakes. REALLY? A friggin bakery out of cakes on Mother's Day. I was told by the female in charge they are open Sunday short hours mainly for pick up. Ok, well, might want to put that on the website. The male explained how busy they had been on Fri and Sat - (might have been a clue to make more cakes) They both looked at me like I was bothering them at that point since they couldn't sell me a cake. They didn't apologize, offer me a cookie, a raincheck - nothing. And seriously, I wasn't expecting anything for free - but a sincere, friendly demeanor would have been nice. With customer service like that, don't know how places stay open. Will not be back. more

I would give them no stars, but there is no option for that. This place charged close to a grand for a cake and basically did not deliver. Our guests were practically out the door when the damn cake showed up. more

You guys are rude and on living on your name only. The managers and owner will not take calls or return any of mine to explain their gigantic mistake. Obviously they are not concerned with one unhappy customer, but frim reading the reviews, I am not the only one. Basically the you guys ruined probably one of the most important day of life. A wedding with no cake???? Hmmm thanks alot Cinderella for what was suppose to be a fairytale day your guys turned into a friggin nightmare!!!!! And I will be posting this all over the internet. more

Horrible, horrible customer service. They were 3 HOURS late for my event! We had already taken photos with the family and there was an empty space where the cake should have been. When my coordinator called about the cake, they had no excuse or explanation for being late. My coordinator and I confirmed the delvery time the day before the event. What went wrong, wish I knew. We put THREE calls into the owner, no call bck, NOTHING. We did manage to speak to someone, and they said "Juan at the resort said it starts at 2:oo" Who's Juan??? They ruined my day. Thanks for stressing us out, and delivering a melted buttercream cake. Ladies, if you want to stress on your wedding day and wonder if your cake will arrive on time, then don't order from here. Read the reviews, POOR customer service. Okay maybe once, a fluke. But there are others who experienced something similar like our day. CAN AN OWNER OR MANAGE PLEASE BE COURTEOUS ENOUGH TO RETURN A CALL! LETS BE PROFESSIONALS> more

Cinderella Cakes is a fabulous bakery! They have incredible cakes and even better customer service. They just made our daughters birthday cake and we are going to tell everyone about them!! We were so impressed with their customer service and their cakes!! You must stop by and see them if you're in need of a cake!!! Pros: Bet Cakes Cons: They're Fattening!! more

I had Cinderella Cakes make by daughters Sweet 16 bday cake. My first impression of the company was on the phone where they were very rushed and almost rude! I asked about a certain cake on their website and the lady kept asking me what the code # was (there weren't that many cakes) and I didn't have it and she practically refused to speak to me unless I can come up with the numerical code on their site. I brushed it off. Then we went to the showroom for a tasting and the lady, I guess the owner pretty much threw down a tiny plate of different 1 inch squares of cake...rattled off the flavors then left! We weren't really sure what was what when we tasted them and none of them were really that great. All along, I hear the owner in the background on the phone with a customer sounding very annoyed that she had to give directions to her shop. There was another couple there who overheard her and we were both kind of raising our eyebrows on her bichiness. Anyway, this was for my kid so I'm not going to patrol the earth looking for a cake...we proceeded with the design and made the order. When it was time to pick up the cake, I called the day prior to make sure all was well. Nobody in any of the offies could tell me when the latest i could pick my cake up on Saturday...i heard 1pm, 1:30pm, 3pm and so on. They also refused to clarify my order by my name....they just said that if i had a ticket then my order was there! It wasn't until i called back 2 times did they allow me to confirm my order over the phone....ridiculous!! For $500, the cake was cute but it tasted like a grocery store cake, and the customer service would have been better at Ralphs....I say there OK but I'm going somewhere else next time. When we picked the cake up and saw the disaster, the employee said, "Well, at least it will taste good!" I tried numerous times to speak with the owner, but to no avail. The showroom is beautiful and the cake tasted and looked fabulous!! We realy encourage anyone needing a cake to go in and talk to the owner or staff at Cinderella Cakes! They are great!! Pros: The cake taste and LOOKS great!! Cons: You can't decide which one to order - they have so many wonderful designs!! more

Cinderella Cakes is an amzing bakery!! There cakes look great and taste even better. They have hundreds of designs to choose from and will even help you create your special design. The staff is really helpful and they have anewly remodeled showroom in Costa Mesa. They offer free samples to everyone!!! Pros: Friendly, helpful and great samples!! more

Cinderella Cakes did our wedding cake in September 2007. It was absolutely stunning and tasted great!!!! The office staff was so helpful and friendly. We can't wait until next year for our free anniversary cake!! Yummy!! Even their delivery person, Carlos was great the day of our wedding. He provided extra boxes and stayed until our coordinator was happy with the placement of our cake. Highly recommend!!!!!!!11 more

We ordered a cake and it turned out COMPLETELY wrong. Looked nothing like what we ordered. Cinderella cakes admitted it was wrong but had taken our money before bringing out the cake. Never offered to refund any part of our money nor did they offer any apology. Customer service was terrible & we will never order a cake there again. I could have bought a better decorated cake at Costco-- no joke. more
