I've been coming to C&O's for years and now also enjoy the Cucina down the street. I love the family-style dining and their garlic rolls are to die for! The whole atmosphere is great, but...
I went here a couple of weeks ago for a friend's birthday. We had a reservation for 12 at 7pm on a Tuesday. Although not everyone arrived on time, we called our friends and had ordered for everyone by 7:20. Not too bad, right?
However, the manager obviously didn't think so and was visibly upset and extremely rude to us. After telling his staff not to bring us bread, he came by the table and practically yelled at all of us for being late. We calmly told him that if the restaurant had a problem with people being late that they shouldn't seat an incomplete party. When we asked to see the owner, he informed us that HE was the owner and then as if to mollify us said that he would bring us some bread. We later found out that he definitely was NOT the owner... how rude and deceitful was that?
Notwithstanding, I assured the friends that had never been here before that it was a very unusual experience for us. I still plan to go back, but hope to never run into that person again. Isn't a manager's job to minimize these kinds of embarassing situations? At the least you would think that he wouldn't create one.

Cons: Manager, Parking
