I have eaten here about 50 times over the past 25 years and have seen the progression from very good to good, to mediocre, to below average. The homemade Pasta used to be plenty and good. It still plenty but the quality is worst than most pasta you can buy in grocery stores. The sauces are not that good either. The Chianti was of the cheap variety but was very good (They used Frescobaldi?s). Now it is just a bad wine, unless you are trying to get drunk. The service was never great, long wait to sit and long wait to get served, but it was the best place to take a large group out. It is not recommended any more.
