Brooklyn Bridge Boot camp Kicks ass! There is not one muscle that is not worked out! This is the most I have ever sweated in any class! Nad it is fun! Her playlist is amazing and everyone has a good sense of humor while seriously working out! it is the best best,most efficienct work out I ahve ever done. Ariane and her staff are well versed and passionate about health and fitness. More importantly, they get to know you personally and steer you inthe right direction for your specific needs! It's amost as if you have a personal trainer alhtough it is a group setting! the variety of classes offered makes for a fun diverse program- indoor, outdoors, parks, manhattan, brooklyn, hte bridge ... You really can't be bored! Ariane is thorough and is also a nutritionist- so she incorporates everything into the workout to help you succeed! Ans she is attentive and PUSHES you! She knows everyone by name and helps you get to the best shape! Not only she communicates with you through emails when you are not in class, she also can keep in touch through FB, her blog- you have questions, she has answers! She gives you workouts and ideas to do at home to keep you progessing towards your goal- and now with her video out, she basically goes home with you! She motivates and pushes so hard- i hear her voice in my head when i eat, when i am working out at home! Ariane and the BBBC is the best fitness experince i have ever had! more

A great workout! 10/12/2011

I've always been a ""do-it-myself"" type of person, especially when it comes to working out since trying an unfamiliar workout among a group of people makes me self-conscious about whether I'm fit and coordinated enough to do the moves. Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp, however, is great. This is a group class that I enjoy doing and don't feel insecure during. I've done the weekend morning classes on the bridge. The instructors are encouraging, provide directions on proper form, and push you to keep going. The class works legs, arms, and core, but emphasis is on legs with many reps and sets of various squats and lunges with and without resistance bands. Overall, you get a full-body workout that involves cardio and strength exercises, using resistance bands, your own body weight, and interval exercises at stopping points as you run across the bridge and back. The bridge isn't crowded with tourists until closer to 10 a.m., so dodging tourists and having space for the exercises isn't much of a problem during the 9 a.m. class. The more annoying aspect is when they take photos of those of us working out. What, they don't have exercise where they come from? But during the boot camp, I'm too focused on making it through another set of jump squats to notice the tourists much. more

Quick efficient and fun work out 9/20/2011

It is the first time I am doing a boot camp workout and I am very happy I did. The work out is fun, efficient, well sequenced and directed by very competent teachers... and the surrounding surrounding is amazing. I have to admit that it did really kicked my ass and I am really looking forward to the next classes. I am always amazed on how the group gets to do the workout together and stays together even thought it is very different different level... I think you should try it more

Great workout - really fun too 9/19/2011

I have taken the class in Central Park a couple of times now and I'm confident in saying this class is terrific! I consider myself in good shape and it's hard to find a class that is challenging enough. This class definitely is and it's fun too. It's a great combination of cardio and strength training. The group runs to different areas of the park where we then do different strength training exercises. There's a variety of athletic levels but you can tell that everyone is getting a great workout. The teachers are great - they push you but are very encouraging. If you're looking for a great workout in a beautiful setting, I would definitely recommend giving this a try! more

Most comprehensive workout 8/17/2011

I use groupon ALL the time and this has been my best groupon purchase ever. The boot camp experience has been completely worth my time and effort... so much that I have decided to become a ""regular"". The classes provide an excellent combination of strength and cardio training: I started to see results after 4 classes. The instructors have been fantastic??each is positive and motivating and the pacing is excellent... I'm in the ""middle of the pack"" and I can see that all fitness levels are challenged. Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp has been the best way to start my day! more

Boot camp for real people. Who want real results. 2/15/2011

What makes this program tick is its founder, creator, chief butt-kicker and head cheerleader - Ariane Hundt. I signed up for the October Slim and Strong program, inspired and a little bit jealous of the results a friend had achieved, even though I was coming out of a ""cocooning"" stage. As in, straight off the couch. I was convinced I was going to pass out after the first class, but somehow made it to the end of 60 minutes, cheered on by the indefatigable Ariane. Not only will you get a fantastic and efficient cardio+weights workout, but you will also get the benefit of Ariane's advanced degrees in nutrition. My family still can't believe I've completely given up salt and now crave 0% fat greek yogurt. The class fills up quickly so plan ahead. And don't be surprised if you become a little bit of a groupie...I'm doing my 4th tour of duty in March! more

An ""only in NYC experience"" + amazing workout! 1/26/2011

Motivation can waver while planking, doing jumping jacks, and other excruciating things to your abs, butt, thighs etc. IF (and that's a very very big ""if"") it wasn't for being on a world-famous landmark with a breath-taking view, and being cheered on by a friendly, funny blond who pushes you harder than you'd ever push yourself. Ariane Hundt's Brooklyn Bridge Bootcamp is not a one-time deal. It's an addiction. You feel amazing and empowered after. I went from hardly being able to run for a solid minute to running the length of the Brooklyn Bridge non-stop. I can also now do 100 jumping jacks at 6:30am without fainting--this would have been beyond uncharacteristic pre-Brooklyn Bridge Bootcamp. Ariane is encouraging and welcoming. If you have 5lbs or 50lbs to loose Ariane is your girl! Take her class--you won't be sorry and if you stick with it, you'll end up being in the best shape of your life! more

I am a former Marine and I found both the indoor and outdoor classes very challenging and intense. The instructors are true professionals and they know how to motivate you and get you in the best shape possible no matter what level of fitness you are in. Great vibe and I leave feeling good after every workout. more

Best workout in NYC, not for the faint of spirit! 1/20/2011

The Brooklyn Bridge Bootcamp has changed many lives, including mine. You get an hour long high-intensity interval training style workout and leave absolutely exhilarated. Ariane is an engaging trainer, does the entire workout alongside and makes the moves challenging from class to class. She is also a professional nutritionist and gives insightful yet practical advice that goes way beyond conventional diet methods. After just one class, you notice a spring in your step that comes from having accomplished something; after 3, the inches melt away; and after 5, your skin is better, clothes fit better and you get the toned, lean and chiseled look of an athlete. Seriously, take a class now - it only costs as much as your sandwich and latte - and you can yell at me if you don't leave feeling like a new person! more

BETTER Than an Overpriced Personal Training Session 1/20/2011

I started attending this bootcamp on recommendation from a coworker and I am so thankful! I had been going to a few different personal trainers for a few years and believe this bootcamp is such a better workout. After one class, you see and feel the results. In addition, the nutrition class was very enlightening and has made a huge impact on my eating habits and attitudes towards eating. more

Amazin 1/20/2011

I tried BBB at the end of last summer and I wished I had heard about it earlier. I had such a great time! The class was fun, encouraging, the views amazing and at the end I had the feeling I could take on the world. I am what some people call a ""gym rat"" and as such I was skeptical about the intensity (since I have been disapointed by many other 'new workouts') I was pleasantly surprised! The class was tough but manageable for different fittness because Ariane encourages pushing to your own limit. I think every Newyorker (and visitor) ought to try at least one class! more

Serious results!! 1/7/2011

I took the slim and strong boot camp five months ago. I highly recommend the program and the bridge classes to everyone! You will see results! I was looking to restart my resolve to workout and lose some weight. Based on the classes and info I got from BBB, I lost 12 pounds and 5% of my body fat. I also lost inches off my waist and hips and I'm fitting into jeans I haven't fit in for over 4 years. Along with seriously intense workouts 3 times a week, BBB includes a nutrition workshop which changed my eating habits completely. You can also sign up for the nutrition workshop anytime (separate from the class). I've kept this weight off for 5 months by continuing to follow the good eating habits. Taking this class and then seeing the results was really empowering. Also, the bridge classes are an inspiring and intense way to work out with beautiful viewsof the city. Run, don't walk and give it a try, it has changed my life. more

Best workout around 1/6/2011

I discovered Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp about 3 months ago. I'm a fitness buff and have done all sorts of exercise programs. This is by far the most fantastic of all. The classes are incredibly challenging, combining cardio and interval training to get maximum calorie burn. I also started taking the Slim and Strong classes which in addition to a killer workout, Ariane teaches you about the proper way to eat healthy, burn fat and gain muscle. It works 11/22/2010

I joined Ariane's Slim & Strong session this fall after some weight gain, and when pretty much nothing else was working for me. It was the best decision I could have made, and it has completely changed my life. BBB is no joke! Best workouts! 11/4/2010

Its a great workout if you're an athlete or a beginner like me. Its no joke... Its hard but worth it!! I feel sooo much better having completed 2 month sessions. Still have to keep going to get to my ultimate goal but this is the place to start. more

BUTT KICKING WORKOUT! 11/3/2010

I've been taking classes on and off for the past year. I've had some personal health issues that have kept me from going at times. Each time that I am able to get back into the class weekly I start to feel a HUGE difference in everything...my mood, energy, how my clothes fit and my strength! Once my Dr.'s have cleared me I keep going back because I know it's the best. Great instructors and attitudes, great routine & workout plan, great bridge and GREAT VIEW! I couldn't ask for anything more! more

I've been taking Ariane's bootcamp classes (both outdoor bridge classes and indoor slim and strong classes) for 2 months now (going on my 3rd!) and I have to say this is the best I have felt in my life! Not only have I lost more than 9 inches, I've gained so much more strength and engergy...I no longer feel tired all the time and can actually do a push up. more
