What makes this program tick is its founder, creator, chief butt-kicker and head cheerleader - Ariane Hundt. I signed up for the October Slim and Strong program, inspired and a little bit jealous of the results a friend had achieved, even though I was coming out of a ""cocooning"" stage. As in, straight off the couch. I was convinced I was going to pass out after the first class, but somehow made it to the end of 60 minutes, cheered on by the indefatigable Ariane. Not only will you get a fantastic and efficient cardio+weights workout, but you will also get the benefit of Ariane's advanced degrees in nutrition. My family still can't believe I've completely given up salt and now crave 0% fat greek yogurt.
The class fills up quickly so plan ahead. And don't be surprised if you become a little bit of a groupie...I'm doing my 4th tour of duty in March!
