Thorough, Quick and Affordable! 6/7/2014

Roof leaks can be really tricky to diagnose. Within minutes of arriving with a friendly handshake and a quick view of our home's layout, Ty was on the roof and diagnosed the problem as a leaky pipe collar from the bathroom's drain vent. Other companies wanted to rip up half our roof and charge hundreds of dollars. I appreciate it when contractors don't take a hatchet to a scalpel-sized problem. I was so pleased with the professionalism, promptness, and efficiency of Best Roofing of Virginia that I recommend them without reservation to anyone who has a roof leak large or small. more

Easy contract and they stuck to it. 6/7/2014

The best price out of three Master Elite Certified contractors I contacted. They started the work the next day. Took an additional half day to complete the work than originally quoted but was not an issue. The roofing crew was friendly, cleaned up the yard really well and protected all of my garden plants with plywood. Contract was detailed and they did what was agreed upon. more

Professional, high quality workmanship for a fair price. 5/23/2014

Very professional from start to finish. Ty provided a very thorough explanation of the roofing system and actually got up on the roof to do the measurement! They don't all do that. Great communication during an extensive rain delay and he was there to kick things off on start day. Complete job took two days just as advertised. Avecier ran a hardworking skilled crew. I'm very satisfied with the entire experience and feel I got a quality job for a fair price. more

The roofing crew arrived early and everything was completed in one day as promised. They were very professional and competent. I was inpressed with the way they treated my landscaping so as to not damage anything and the clean up was perfect. I am very satisfied with their workmanship and would highly recommend them to everyone I know. more

From estimate through final clean-up, Ty and his crew did a remarkable job completely re-roofing the whole house. In less than a day and a half, they had it stripped, rotten wood underneath replaced, and re-shingled along with a thorough clean-up without disturbing the Mrs' plants around the house. more

Don and his crew performed a spectacular job on my new roof. I am very pleased with the quality of work, the price, and especially the GAF warranty program included with my new roof. His crew went the extra mile for me especially identifying minor flaws with my chimney and siding and repaired them with quality, one less thing I don't have to do. These guys are keepers, give them a call and get your estimate, you wont regret it. more

Great Communication and VERY Fair Price! 5/1/2014

I am an out-of-town owner with a rental property in Hampton. My property manager contacted me indicating there were several problems with the roof. I went on Angie's List and contacted five of the highest rated roofer to look at the property. Two did not respond to my email and the other three responded within a week. Best Roofing not only responded, but also included photos with my proposal. Although they weren't the least expensive, they were the most detailed and offered me bang for buck from the warranty viewpoint. I had several conversations with Don, who had estimated my roof and responded to every concern that I had. In the end, I chose Best Roofing because of the confidence and ease of communication I felt. When the job was completed, Don sent me several photos of my house and I couldn't believe the transformation. My property manager also drove by and agreed it was a great roofing job. Thanks for work well done and the ease you handled a project with the owner a thousand miles away! more

I received several quotes to have my roof replaced. Ty was the only one who actually got on top of my roof to inspect it. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The crew was prompt, efficient and did a great job on my roof. more

Ty Cox and his roofing team did an outstanding job re-roofing our house. A lot of details and work were involved to give us what we wanted and needed. The crew of six installers were prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. Ty was on the job at frequent intervals to ensure the job got done according to the estimate and with quality materials and workmanship. Their post installation cleanup was superb. Repair Work Dream Come True 4/8/2014

Called several other roofing contractors to give me a quote on fixing a soffit leak. Seemed very pricey so I decided to give Best Roofing a call. Not only did they beat everyones price, but Ty fixed it for free on the spot!!! Was very knowledgeable and learned a lot!! more

Searching for the right man for the right job in getting a roof makeover in my house was a daunting task. Having previewed a few professional roofers, I was only given the platitudes of their expertise captured in glossy finished photos, making me wish the photos could become my house roof overnight at the right price. However, first contact with Ty of Best Roofing of Virginia, Inc., and the traditional ‘photo presentation’ was hands-on as he went up on the roof and did a handy assessment on the roof. At the end, my roof became the glossy photo presented by the other roofers but this time, I get to live in the photo captured by the professional hands of Ty and Best Roofing of Virginia, Inc. They are the BEST!!! more

Great roof, excellent company, highly recommended! 4/1/2014

We had our new roof installed on 03/27/14 and we are extremely pleased with it. We had solicited other quotes and Best Roofing was the only company that actually came out and talked to us in person, explaining the whole process. Ty was great, he spent at least an hour going over everything with us. Ty kept in contact with us up to and throughout the day that the roof was being installed. The roof was installed the day promised and the cleanup was immaculate. I highly recommend Best Roofing! more

Professional, courteous and fair price 3/25/2014

We solicited several quotes for a repair job on our roof. Best Roofing of Virginia was not the lowest quote, but was at least 30% less than our highest. We chose them because of their professionalism and knowledge about how to best complete the work. Ty was always in contact, explained the process, and was very professional. The work was done before promised. We would highly recommend Best Roofing. Thanks! more
