Bella Beau Medspa

I've been going to Bella Beau regularly for the past 5 months and I CANNOT believe they have managed to get rid of MANY years of sun damage & unwanted hair. It is so nice to find a place that isnt afraid to use the laser,( I hate to spend money on something and feel like they are afraid to actually provide the service). A few months ago I even got ballsy and had my lips plumped with a filler, Juvederm I believe, and WOW!! lips...it took a few days to get used to them but I love them :)....I love the fact that Missy, (my estehetician) is just as excited as I am with the results of my skin. more

I used to work at Bella Beau and quite frankly when it comes to skincare, you cannot please anyone! Everyone's skin reacts differently to products, regardless of the brand-remember that before you decide to spend hundreds of dollars on products before you test them. Find a cleanser, toner and moisturizer you like and stick with it-test what is out there. I personally use the same brand with my cleanser and moisturizer and use a different brand for my toner-and I buy all my products at a local drug store. Also, make sure your moisturizer has a SPF of at least 25-you will be happy in the long run b/c unlike your friends, you won't have to deal with ugly sun spots and wrinkles caused by the sun-bronzer will give you the same glow as the sun without the harmful effects! Bella Beau's facials and microderms are awesome-they always left my skin feeling extremely smooth and pimple free! As far as their laser hair removal, from a personal standpoint, I think it is a waste of money-I mean seriously, how hard is it to shave? Also, you cannot be in the sun at all when you are having laser treatments (you will severely burn the next time you are treated-I've seen it-it ain't pretty)-when do most people want treatments done...in the summer...too bad it takes up to a year and even longer to ""get rid"" of the hair. They do carry a great line of make-up-Jane Iredale (mineral make-up). It's kind of expensive, but totally worth it-it covers flawlessly-I would buy it on the Jane Iredale site though, it is the same price and they actually have a return policy. Bella Beau is a little ridiculous with theirs-they hate when people try to return products even though they were offered to them by the professionals who work there-doesn't make much sense...but if you do find a Jane Iredale product you like that works for you then buy it from a spa next to you who carries it so you don't have to pay shipping and then wait for it to come in!! I went into the Bella Beau Medspaand was very surprised at the reasonability of the prices if services and products that they carried. After a simple facial ( I always get the least the 1st time visiting a salon, especially with a new esthitician) my face felt nice and moisturized and i WAS happy with the service. I inquired about a cuple of products but decided to wait untill the next time I come in and get an upperscale facial then buy some of their products. Thank goodness i did because for the next 2-5 days my skin was peeling, dry patches occurred, and my face would sting when i used my at home beauty products. I didnt go to my dermatologist because the condition got better on my face but i will never go back there. Pros: Nice reasonable prices Cons: Poor service, rude employees more

I took my 12 year old daughter there for skin care products as she had some bumps on her face. We were told by the esthetician to use a walnut scrub, and their cleansing and face cream for sensitive skin. Almost a $100 later we walked off happy that we had found something for her.\r \r After a week of use her face was red and seemed to be worse. We went to the dermatologist only to be told that the walnut scrub should have never been used and that a lot of products have alcohol in them actually making your face drier. I went home and sure enough the cream has it listed at the top (I believe 5th).\r We are now on prescription medicine to fix her face. \r \r I called the store to ask their policy on refunds of their products and was told they don't offer one. I explained that we purchased due to the advice of one of their employees and the answer was still no.\r \r Unqualified people and no integrity to stand by their products! If I could rate them less than a zero I would. more

Not enough information given on procedures and on what to expect, no personal concern for the client, no personal concern for the treatment. \r \r It feels like going to the grocery store... you go there, get your stuff and go... They don't ask you if things are working out with the treatment or otherwise show any concern for you as a client. They don't ask about your specifics and they don't tell you what to expect after each session. \r \r Each client deserves a more closer attention since they tell you all the time that results are different in each client. If that is true then it is granted that more discussion and attention should be given. After all is also an expensive procedure.\r \r Having laser is not like buying groceries. I recieved a membership as a gift, which was very thoughful!!! At first I loved going now you can NEVER get an appointment!!! You have to book appointments a month in advance most people with jobs can't really do that!!! I would rather spend the extra money to get great service than constantly have to deal with the inconvience to work around appointment times. I wanted to send a quick note and tell you what an incredible difference your services have made on my skin. I have never gone regularly to a spa for facial upkeep and endured some damage on my face.\r The whole concept of being able to pay a very reasonable monthly fee and receive a major service provided me with just the incentive I needed to start taking regular care of my skin.\r Almost immediately I noticed an amazing difference and so have many others.\r I love the Sensi peel which tightens my skin immediately, reduces the size of my pores and adds a natural glow.\r It is so cool that after already paying for my monthly services I can pay $55.00 for a brazilian laser hair removal!! There are certainly times when a recommended treatment has undesirable effects and at these times the efforts and skill in reconciling the situation is crucial. It must be remembered that the customer needs to be open, communicative and cooperative. Unfortunately this is not always the case. Where treatments are supplied under prescription, refunds are not available, and in this we have our hands tied. We did in fact recommend another product in this case, and our only request was that the difference in price be made up ? effectively a refund. However such an approach was never likely to be considered appropriate and the impasse that followed is regrettable, and was entirely unavoidable. We pride ourselves on our customer care and support, but there are times when concerns and efforts do not elicit any response. After all efforts to reconcile have failed, we made an exception by giving the customer the refund she asked for, even if, our return policy was clearly stated. Despite all that, she was still unhappy. It?s unfortunate that confrontational encounters sometimes occur, and at such times reason is required. Should our customers reject our earnest efforts to help, there is little we can do. We do hope that other establishments which may be patronized by such individuals are equally patient as we are? or it may be a bad day for some.\r more

i am not going to deny, yes they refunded but not by them selves bc their policy is they can't refund a prescription. i called the pharmacy and explained my concern of headaches and the doctor there did some research and called me back that same day and asked me not to use it and asked me to ask bella beau med spa for refund and asked me to give the reference of pharmacy. i had and have no complains after i got my refund. i do understand that a treatment might not work for all. i explained a few things before i joined the club, i travel a lot and have client facing job etc, but i came to know the real details after i joined, like i can't have a treatment which takes long to heal etc and i also understand that bella beau can't do anything about it. i am driving 50 miles since Jan to and fro bc we had to move to houston from woodlands to do my sitting and when it was not making any difference on my skin after putting money and efforts it was a little frustrating Pros: no pros Cons: no cons more

For Christmas of 2006 I received a gift certificate for Bell Beau Medspa in the Woodlands Mall. Initially, I had Laser Hair Removal on my face, and had such wonderful results I became a Member. Now I indulge myself with regular treatments that include, Facials, Photo Facial, Microdermabrasion, and Laser Vein Therapy. Last year I had Botox, Juvederm, and Radiesse injections from Dr Martens; while these procedures were not completely painless the results I obtained are so worth it. I receive many compliments from friends and family about how how nice my skin looks. I give thanks to all of the staff members and Dr. Martens who are always professional, friendly, treat me with kindness, and have respect for my privacy. A special note of thanks to Caroline, Medical Aesthetician, who administers my treatments. I personally recommend Bella Beau Medspa for services that are affordable, a location that is convenient, and a team of professionals to cater to you. more

It seems odd that a client who complains about Bella Beau ?bad-mouthing? other spas would indicate how a receptionist in a competing spa was bad-mouthing? us. If such indiscrete behavior is wrong - and it is- it is wrong for all. Examples of this should not be used to defame an organization while at the same time be used to justify any criticism.\r \r Complaints about rudeness of staff are commonplace and usually misplaced; any retail establishment prospers only because of good customer relations. Bella Beau is aware of this and sensitive to the satisfaction of its customers, which goes far deeper than just the approach of the receptionist. Should we ever consider that at any point we are not and that any of our staff are not ?absolutely? committed to the complete and absolute satisfaction of our clients, we would take immediate remedial action.\r \r Are our services not up to par because a competitor uses ""better lasers""? This would normally be the subject of litigation, but we cannot take this seriously. Our commitment to our clients is absolute, and the equipment we use reflects this. I walked into Bella Beau over the weekend to see exactly what they were about. The receptionist was very rude and said there was nobody there who could talk to me about their memberships and pricing b/c they were at lunch and she was not allowed to give out prices. She handed me a brochure and went back to typing on the computer. She did not even bother to take my name and number down so someone could call me about the memberships they offer. I have a couple freinds who go there and have had a few run ins with rude staff as well, especially their owner who never happens to be there and never returns an e-mail. After telling them about my experience they decided once their memberships are up they are going to try another spa. I decided to give Bella Beau another chance and called them this morning to see if anyone could talk to me, the receptionist answered the phone very rudely like I was inconveniencing her by calling and said everyone was with clients and their mgr was in a meeting. I asked if I could leave her my name and number and before I knew it she hung up on me! So much for second chances! I have already contacted another med spa in the area and have an appointment later today to meet with someone to discuss their pricing. I made sure I told them about my experience with Bella Beau and they responded that many of their clients are former Bella Beau spa goers who just got fed up with the way the spa was run, not to mention apparently everyone who works at Bella Beau bad mouths every spa in the area, I guess they're afraid of a little competition. I WENT TO SEVERAL MEDSPAS FOR CONSULTS. I CHOSE BELLA BEAU BECAUSE IT WAS CHEAPER THAN ANYONE ELSE. THEY WERE VERY PERSUASIVE, AND BAD MOUTHED OTHER SPAS, STATING HOW MUCH BETTER THEY WERE THEN EVERYONE ELSE. I HAD A GUT FEELING TO GO WITH SONA MEDSPA, WHICH IS IN THE SAME MALL, AND WHO HAS BETTER LASERS... BUT, THEY WERE A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE. I REGRET CHOOSING BELLA BEAU, BECAUSE ALL OF THE AREAS I DID, ARE GROWING BACK. I EVEN ASKED FOR A REFUND, BUT BECAUSE I SIGNED UP FOR THEIR ""MEMBERSHIP"", I AM STUCK DOING IT HERE!!! I started getting Laser Hair Removal on my face at Bella Beau MedSpa In May of 2008. I have had 6 treatments and I love it. I saw results with the 1st Treatment and feel that I am about 75% to my goal. My experience has been great. The growth of the hair in the area has slowed down 50% and it is now very light. Most of the hair is completely gone. I had alot of scarring from plucking my ingrown hairs. But since being consistent with the treatments and using sunscreen, the scarring has even faded. The staff was always friendly and the Aesthetician's always made me feel comfortable. I can now wear my hair up and dont have to cover up my face. It has changed my life. Before I came to Bella Beau Medspa, I had severe cystic acne. It was so bad, I couldn't wash, dry, or even sleep on the side of my face without being in pain. I hated going out in public and everyday I woke up it was always worse than the day before. I tried Sona Medspa first, but after spending thousands of dollars over a period of four months, the only result I saw was a big dent in my bank account. Then I found Bella Beau and have been happy ever since. I've been going there every week for about two months and my face has improved dramatically. I can wake up in the morning wihout any new blemishes, and if I do get one, it's not nearly as bad as it was before I started my treatments at Bella Beau. And the prices are totally reasonable. For two treatments at Sona, I can get 16 treatments at Bella Beau....believe me, I've done the math. The staff there is incredible too. It's difficult to put into words how pleased I am with my visit to Bella Beau MedSpa! I came in for Botox and Radiesse. Prior to my appointment I had a lot of questions. The lady at the desk answered as many as she could. Then she had Elmi call me to answer the rest of my questions. When I arrived for my appointment, I was VERY anxious. I have a very low tolerance for pain when it comes to the Radiesse injections. I had actually been putting it off for a year because I remembered how bad the pain was when I visited a plastic surgeon for the procedure in the past. Elmi was extremely caring and patient with me in handling my anxieties. When I went in to see Dr. Martens, he was so kind and so patient with me (and he had a great sense of humor also!). He answered all of my questions and explained everything to me as he was going along. I had put on the numbing cream prior to coming in and he gave me two small, painless shots in my mouth to numb the area when I arrived. I barely felt the Radiesse injections. Not a single tear came to my eyes! You have no idea what a miracle this was for me. And to top it all off, I can't frown anymore and my smile lines have disappeared!!! I want to thank all of you for making it such a pleasant experience. I recently moved to the Woodlands and have been looking for a place to get regular facials. I enjoy the experience and like how my face looks and feels after getting them. I found bella beau online and called to make an appointment. They were friendly on the phone and seemed knowledgable so I booked an appointment. My first issue was when they called to tell me that they would like to move my appointment back because they were running behind. So I showed up at the later time that requested and filled out all of my paperwork. Then I proceded to watch the entire staff gossip about other customers for another 15 minutes before they invited me back to the room. I was told to just lay down in my street clothes. I have NEVER had a facial in anything but a robe that the spa normally provides. The esthetician was very friendly but I never really felt relaxed in there. I felt as if I were plopped on a table and then up and out. I also found it strange that they wear plastic gloves while working on your face. I honestly felt that for the price, my money could have been better spent elsewhere. It wasn't the quality of their work, but rather the atmosphere that I didn't enjoy. \r . I have such a great experience every time I go to Bella Beau Medspa. All the employees are so friendly, they know me by name when I go in,and they are always ready for me as soon as I arrive. I have a better experience at each appointment which is amazing considering i was so comfortable and pleased with the first. I am receiving laser hair removal at a fraction of the price of everywhere else, and the results are great. I have had 3 treatments and the hair has reduced by about 70%. I started with hair removal on my legs at Bella Beau. I was really happy with my results so I began treatments on my underarms and bikini. I was not only impressed with the service I received, but the people at the spa. They have an A+ in my books- definitely recommend!!! more
