Hot Water Tank Installation 6/9/2013

Sorry I didn't complete my last review. (fat fingered I think?) John Willing and his assistant (I forgot his name,sorry) were very professional and courtesy to us while here. He explained what needed to be done and gave me the total price up front and stayed within it. The work performed was great and we're very satisfied. We will call Bell again when needed. more

Terrific emergency service 4/11/2013

Bill Patuluna responded to our emergency call for sewer back up immediately after water heater installation. He was presented with one challenging task after another and worked diligently to solve each problem no matter how late it got. Then he communicated with me on site and with the homeowner by phone to give us all necessary information including discounts available to us. He also scheduled next day camera service to determine whether more work was necessary. We appreciated Bill's time, expertise, and willingness to explain each step he took. more

Fred came out to repair ductwork for us. He was impeccable! 4/11/2013

Fred came out as scheduled, on time, with expertise that was astounding. He installed ductwork that was precise, practical and very functional. He is wise, kind, he really listens and he works really hard. I would recommend him to anyone I know. His willingness to take on a challenging poorly done existing project and determine the most efficient way to resolve a problem someone else created was amazing. His work was done so well. We hope you would choose him for your heating and ductwork needs, as you will not be disappointed. more

very thorough and high quality 4/3/2013

Bill was very thorough, neat, and on time. He worked for 8 hours making my condo water self contained in a building where the main to the whole building had to be turned off to do plumbing work. I am very satisfied with and would request Bill in the future. more

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE 3/25/2013

THIS COMPANY OVER CHARGES AND DOESN'T WORK WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS. ONE SHOOT AND THAT IS IT. THEY THEATEN TO SEND TO COLLECTIONS AND DO NOT LET YOU KNOW THAT THIS IS THERE POLICY. WOULD NEVER USE BELL PLUMBING AGAIN WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BELL PLUMBING TO ANYONE more

Slow to respond 3/12/2013

I've had Bell come to service my two rentals for years and that has worked out fine. But now, and having purchased a preferred customer deal, I don't feel preferred. I first called in January about a leaking shower. It took a couple of weeks and 3 phone calls to get an estimator here and now it is mid March and someone is finally coming out today, already an hour late, anticipating another 1/2 hr to get here. What happened to the customer service of this company? I hope my shower isn't dripping after today - 3 months of drips is a lot of water! more

Fast, friendly and less expensive than I thought 2/28/2013

From the foot covers at the front door to the friendly conversation while he determined the problem and solution, Tyler eased my anxiety about the leaky pipe in my basement. He worked quickly and offered some good suggestions for other work I'm considering. I have FINALLY found a plumbing and heating service that I know I can count on. more

water pressure valve & sump pump 2/26/2013

Bell Plumbing and Heating sent Bill Pataluna to our home to check on our low water pressure and our sump pump. We had sold the house and were attending to items on the inspector's "to do" list. Bill arrived on time, calling ahead to give us his estimate time of arrival. He quickly determined that the water pressure valve needed to be replaced (and did so), and also replaced the sump pump after making sure that was not merely an electrical problem. He answered all of our questions related to plumbing to our satisfaction. He was also very detail oriented in explaining to us the charges. We are highly satisfied with his service and the experience. We will call Bell Plumbing and Heating the next time we need their services. more

Bell Plumbing & Heating provided excellent service this last time. I couldn't tell you what was wrong or what they fixed, but the guy who came was particularly helpful. He was very polite, and he helped calm me down as everything was breaking loose and flooding in my basement. A lot of my rating for them had to do with how good their person was. more

Bell's a totally professional plumbing service organization you'll be happy with. 12/28/2012

I've been with Bell for quite a long time, and they're generally very good. They are always prompt. You schedule a two hour window, and they call ahead to make sure you're there and and everything's on track. They're very good schedule-wise. They're professional in how they handle themselves. They're extremely careful about making sure they don't track stuff around the house. They know their business well. I've had a number of different plumbers come out, and they're all very knowledgeable. They do what they say they're going to do and they get the job done at a reasonable time and price. They're usually good about followup. I get a call from one of their representatives within a few days, and if there's any issue or problem, they address it. more

Complaint Addressed 12/3/2012

Previously wrote a review on what I considered to be excessive charges and the companies unwillingness to adjust. The President called me personally to address the situation and was very polite in his explanations. Provided an adjustment of the bill to a more reasonable level. more

They are always on time--always give upfront estimates and the techs are very courteous--we ask for certain techs , like Curt, because they know this house and are easy to work with. Outrageous Charges 11/29/2012

After troubleshooting problem in advance and telling Bell Plumbing the problem, they charged $277.95 to troubleshoot problem. They then cleaned and reamed two pipes going to and from the hot water heater during their "troubleshooting". After complaining about the excessive charge, their response was that they could have charged us an additional charge for doing the repair, on top of the troubleshooting charge. Highly recommend not utilizing Bell Plumbing (based upon my experience - and I was a long term customers of theirs) and finding a more reputable (in my opinion) plumber. more

Very effective, professional, and satisfactory service. 11/26/2012

I've known the Bell family for generations. Bell does all of our plumbing. Lately, they've repaired a sink stopper in the bathroom, and are in the process of repairing the shower valves in another bathroom. They're also going to fix our garbage disposal soon. I like the personnel, the quality of work, and their promptness and flexibility. more

Excellent service on 3 calls 10/19/2012

Bell Plumbing & Heating did 2 bathroom plumbing remodels and an AC repair. Estimates were reasonable, the work was done exactly on time and as requested, and the final bill did not exceed the estimates. Very courteous technicians, very prompt, clean, skilled. more
