Amazing Heating & Air Conditioning is local to Baltimore and so I retained their services a couple years ago--they were quick to respond, and the servicemen were responsive and didn't waste any time. They were accommodating of their time to find out what was wrong before charging any money for it; and, they were thorough and weren't making any quick snap decisions--which I appreciated. I think I retained them a year later, and then they had offered a membership with priority servicing. I appreciated that and signed up for their membership because, compared to the competition, I appreciated their service more--it's much more personal and more customer friendly. I just appreciated that and that they were more readily available. Since I've used them and had a contract with them, when it expired, I thought they did such a good job in the past that I decided to use them again. more

Look, you live in Baltimore and you try to get some part of your home fixed up and the odds you will find a company to get right on it and do good work is about 1 in 5. The technician, Shane, did an 'Amazing' job for a difficult coil replacement. Answered all my questions and did an exceptional job. Plus the folks in the office provided updates on when parts would be in and when work would be scheduled and completed. Even follow-up to make sure work was satisfactorily completed. more

details are posted online, you can check. but here are the highlights 1) more expensive than many other vendors (which,, in my mind, is ok IF you know what the heck you are doing! 2) the guy locked himself out RIGHT after i specially reminded him that he needed to bring the key with him if he had to step out. he told me he "had a lot on his mind" - right there right then i knew i was dealing with someone incompetent 3) the same guy spoke english (or was it ebonics?) i could not understand a word he was saying - every time i had to ask him to speak into his phone directly and repeat 3 times. highly unprofessional! 4) then he told me i needed to replace some panel which would cost me more than $2000! i am no HVAC tech? but i suspected all my unit needed was collant recharge 5) i told him i don't have that kind of money, he can pack up and leave. 10 min later, he told me "oh, looks like all you need is some freon recharge" 6) when i asked him to give me cost estimate, he first told me he could not; then he told me something close to $600 for 2 lb. so i still told him he could leave. (i was not going to do business with them again and i had spent thousands of $ with them in previous years! as an existing customer, i did not need such treatment!) 7) the woman becka (?) who always answers the phones has never been a friendly one - i have dealt with her for a few years now. her tone has always made me feel that she is doing me a favor and i had to beg for it. 8) i called another company, not only the kid they sent over is so honest, their after hour trip fee is lower than "amazing" regular trip fee! oh, also, "amazing" doesn't tell you labor and parts - they charge you lump sum for the "job"! and the other company charged me less than half for the freon! "amazing" is truly amazing! more

This was our first time using Amazing Heating and Air. The entire process was smooth, from the differing service options available, to scheduling. The tech was on time and very cordial. Our system is only 4 years old so we weren't expecting any trouble, it was pointed out that the outside compressor was picking up lint from our dryer vent which is rather close to the unit and he paid extra attention to cleaning it. We did have to have a return call as the compressor started making some noise a day or so after the service but it turned out to be nothing more than a screw (or 2) coming loose and a further tightening finished the job completely. more

Shane was out on 6/7/17 for our spring check up. We complained about the system running for long [periods of time and then being off for long periods. He ;installed a new thermostat which solved the problem which had been bothering us for some time. more

I will request my technician every time going forward. extremely thorough and provided honest feedback on any additional work required to add efficiency and years to the unit. more

I've been a repeat customer of Amazing Heating and Air Conditioning Inc for going on 10 years now. I have been using them for so long and they have never failed to provide me the most reliable and best customer service in the business. I have never 2nd guessed their work and I wouldn't think of using anyone else. The most recent time they came and did a simple repair of the A/C unit on the rooftop, everything turned out great per usual. Anytime I have had any issues with the products they install, it's never their fault and they make sure to contact the manufacturer to get everything worked out for me! Great people...
