If there was a less than 1 star, that's what we'd rate Advance Water Systems. \r
They INSTALLED our water system 10 years ago, and have been doing all our repairs and we have purchased all filters from them every since. Imagine our surprise a couple of weeks ago when a pump motor went out and needed repair, and at that time we discovered the filters that Advance Water Systems sent us was the wrong one. We mistakenly trusted they knew what they were doing.\r
From the date we purchased the house in 2006, we call AWS, tell them we need filters, they send them, all seems right. \r
The manager, Craig Rogers, told us he did not have record of our system. After 10 years, and whole lot of money, bad business, or a manager that doesn't bother to know his customer base? \r
We had just changed the filter, that they sent us, when the pump motor went out, and discovered the filter was not the one we were supposed to have. We called and asked to speak to Mr. Rogers regarding the more expensive filter, and the one his company sent us. He never called. \r
Even though they sent us the wrong filter to begin with,THEIR ERROR, we offered to pay the difference between the two filters. Repairs made, bill came, with a $98 charge for the new filter. \r
He accepts absolutely no responsibility for the incorrect filter being sent to us, and the bill stands.This despite two of his staff telling us the mistake was that of AWS. So not only did we have to pay for the wrong filter, now we have to pay for the new one. \r
Needless to say, we will not make the mistake of using them ever again, and will be certain the neighbors around us understand they have to pay twice when AWS makes the error. Maddox family Pflugerville, Texas
