I called Absolute to come out and take a look at my home. I've been having issues with mold for sometime now. Absolute was the second company I called out to try to figure out what was causing mold, due to the first company could not figure it out. Cameron came out and inspected my home and had a report to me the next day. He figured out what was causing mold and took care of it. He also gave me great discount! My husband and I found a leak in our bathroom behind the toilet and noticed there was what looked like mold. So we contacted a couple companies to see if this was really an issue that we needed to take care of right away and if it was serious. We had Absolute come out and take a look and they were very knowledgable and helpful. I was amazed how Cameron explained everything to me in such a detail that I fully understood what he was talking about and learned a lot of new things about my home that I never knew before. It turned out that the mold was more serioud behind the wall and had to have everything taken out and cleaned. It was such a gruling experience having to go through all this, but the Absolute team were very clean and in and out in 2 days, which made me happy. I am so thankful that we went with them! more

My fiance and I had just purchased our first property. The property was built in 1931 and because of the age of the house, it had led us to do a mold inspection. We found absolute on angie's list and scheduled an inspection a few days later. We were unsure how it would turn out as the house is old and has some leakage on the roof. Cameron arrived with his thermal detector and he showed us what he was screening for. He explained every step he was making and combining his knowledge and experience, he really brought up the problems of the house. Thankfully most of it was waterproofing the windows, stucco, and roof. Without his expertise, we would have never known the problems of the house and solution to them!! I hired them to waterproof my rooftop deck with Tufflex and seal the entire area with UV resistant top coat and paint. I was incredibly pleased with my experience with Absolute Maintenance & Consulting, from start to finish. The owner personally came out to the property to assess the work needed and deliver a price estimate, all within 24 hours of my initial phone call. I had a very tight timeframe for when the work could be completed, and they were very accommodating of my schedule and were able to meet my accelerated timeline without any hiccups. The team showed up on time each day and were very friendly, professional and courteous. They did an OUTSTANDING job prepping the house with mats and tarps to eliminate damage to my recently refinished floors, and an OUTSTANDING job cleaning up after the work was completed. In fact, they left the property cleaner than it was before they started. Communication was an ease; all my phone calls and emails were answered within an hour or two. The project was supposed to take a full 3 days, but they finished early (only 2.5 days). These guys really take pride in their work and it shows. The end product far exceeded my expectations. The team even went beyond the scope of work to fill in a few cracks that may cause water issues in the future. They did this free of charge! I have nothing negative to say about them and would highly recommend them. more

They came in and assessed leakage and flooding, and did the repairs. They helped with looking for subcontractors, found out they were actually able to do all the work. Fixed the problem, everything has been good since. more

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! We all know how hard it is to find an honest contractor these days...even more difficult to ensure they will follow through on their repairs with detailed craftmenship. Absolute Consulting is a diamond in the rough! We had a waterproofing issue in a dry rotted doorframe that was preventing our hardwood floor install. With products sitting in the flooring vendors wharehouse I was in dyer need of repairs ASAP! I called Cameron over the weekend and he gladly took my call to evaluate the situation. He no sooner was at my house the following Monday to bid the repairs and as the week drew to a close all my waterproofing issues were behind me! If you are experiencing water intrution issues you may have found the same problems I did...no one contractor can complete the job start to finish (i.e. drywall, waterproofing, restoration etc.) Cameron and his crew took care of it all. Not only did they repair the problem, they provided a warranty and photos. I highly recommend Absolute Consulting and have no doubt you'll be satisfied with your experience too. more

We had a nagging water intrusion and leaks for many years and many attempts to fix. No one could get it corrected till Absolute and company did. They kept there word every step of the way. As of this last rain all issues are gone, and the bonus was they handled everything on the job for us they were a one-stop-shop. I had water damage and minor mold from a water leak. I needed repairs to the upstairs bathroom, the entry way bathroom, the hallway,and the entry way ceilings and wall. Cameron's team came in, got to work and didn't stop until the job was completed. I could not beleive that they water sealed the floor, installed sink and cabinet, and all the drywall needed for the Bathrooms and Entry way walls and ceilings in only four days. The completed job is beautiful. The texture and painting, etc. is seamless with the rest of my home. Cameron and his team were very professional. The team kept the work area clean and tidy. The work was done in a short amount of time and the completed work was done to estimate. I recommand Cameron and his team to anyone who wants excellant work, that is done on time and on budget. more

We had a problem with the stairwell wall to the garage where the prior work performed by another contractor had resulted in a blistering effect of cracked plaster due to moisure leakage on the south wall. Also, two of our windows were installed without adequate water sealant resulting in puffy drywall due to moisure. The repairs were completed but after a unusually rainy winter season, we saw bubbling on the stairwell wall on the opposite site on the north wall. Also, there was a slight puffiness appearing on one of the two windows. To our surprise, Cameron followed-up with his 1 year warranty and came back to review the issues. He identified the fact that the stairwell moisure issue was caused by an external building crack which required weatherproofing at an additional minor cost. He also repaired the puffy drywall window by adding more sealant. We are very satisfied with his conscientiousness and follow-up. The price for the repairs seemed rather high, at first, but the follow-up and warranty efforts justify the expenditure. more

Cameron was prompt when he came for the bid and his crew was very professional and did a wonderfully thorough job, including re-texturing the sheetrock. There was a small opening on the roof and they went up and repaired it rather than my having to find someone else to do the work. That was a fantastic bonus. In over seven years, we've had every type of contractor and have usually been disappointed in their service and work product. Cameron and his crews are the first to meet and surpass all expectations. They did leak detection and repair, drywall repair and mold remediation in several areas, and finishing work including internal and external painting and resurfacing of a deck. Of particular note is the care they took to protect our home while they conducted invasive work, the quality and insistence to have the final product meet our expectations, and the straight-forward communications at all stages (including with respect to the revision of estimates). We worked with them on scheduling due to their commitment for another client, but that only speaks to their dedication to see the job to completion. When they started, they showed every day until they were finished. Because we could see the quality and care as they progressed, we expanded the scope of the work with them to take advantage while they were at our home. Although we doubled our initial estimate (by our own expansion of the work), we are confident we received an excellent price for the work performed. I never saw anything black in my condo showing mold. What I had was an awful smell of mold. The other part of this was that everyone that came into my place, said the place smelt great. I had come to find out that I was having an allergic reaction to the mold this is why I could smell it an no one else could. Cameron's men came in and I had showed them the areas that were bothering me. They tore apart the kitchenette area and found mold above and below the window and a bit on the ceiling. In the bathroom, there was the normal amount due to pour circulation, they got me a better vent. Also where it all started it was a 2 foot by 2 foot area, which went 2 foot by 8 foot due to the mold spreading. In the bedroom off the main drain the ceiling wasn't done correctly by the original contractors as well as in the kitchenette area, both these areas were fixed as well. When everything was fixed, they painted my place and gave me such a great deal I couldn't refuse it!! My bathroom I got painted in a semi gloss and the rest of the condo in an egg shell. The men he sent to work on my place were awesome! I got reviews daily on the place, if things extra that needed to be done they called. Cameron checked in on them. This whole experience renewed my faith. When I go looking for a new place, I want them to check anything that I go into so, I don't have to worry about it. Also, I am already referring them to other people. more

Absolute Consulting is one of those companies that cut to the chase, without making things more complicated than they need to be. I had a ton of mold in my bathroom, and no one I called seemed to know what the problem was. Those who did claim they could handle the problem wanted an obscene amount of money to perform services that seemed superfluous. Absolute Consulting came in, knew right away exactly how to handle the situation, and were able to tell me up front what they needed to do and what it would cost, which was much, much more reasonable than any of their competitors. My experience with Absolute Consulting went exactly the way things like this should go down. They are a no-BS kind of company, and finding them was a huge relief. They have the mold removal and inspection thing down pat, and if anything like this were ever to happen again, I wouldn't have to think for a second about using them. I've recommended them to friends, who have used them and been equally pleased. They do superb work. more
