Riverside Hospice Bereavement and Riverside Hospice Thrift Store ARE CLOSED....there is NO HOSPICE AND THERE IS NO BEREAVMENT CARE.THE DOORS HAVE BEEN CLOSED FOR MANY MONTHS. ANY ATTEMPTS TO USE THE NAME HOSPICE OR BEREAVEMENT CARE IN ATTEMPTS TO SOLICIT DONATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC ARE MADE UNDER FALSE PRETENSES. should YOU FIND THIS ORGANIZATION SOLICITING IN NEIGHBORING CITIES OR AT SWAP MEETS, PLEASE REPORT TO ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AND LOCAL POLICE. there WAS NO OFFICIAL CLOSURE OF THIS ORGANIZATION. THE ASSETS THT REMAINED INSIDE HAVE BEEN DISPURSED WITHOUT INFORMING THE PUBLIC AS TO WHERE THEIR DONATIONS WERE TAKEN OR SOLD. THE COMMUNITY DESERVES AN ANSWER. MANY PAST BOARD MEMBERS ARE INTERESTED IN SEEING THAT JUSTICE IS SERVED. OUR NAMES AND REPUTATIONS WERE USED TO FURTHER THE FINANCIAL BENEFIT OF THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. WE FOUND THIS OUT TOO LATE. BUYER BEWARE. LOOK FOR SMALL APPLIANCES IN DAMAGED BOXES BEING SOLD AT SWAP MEETS BY INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE ASSISTED THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR IN HER EFFORTS FOR PERSONAL GAIN AND PROFIT FROM USING THE NAME ""HOSPICE"" . I WAS PERSONALLY DUPED FOR MANY YEARS AS WERE OTHER OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO SERVED ON THIS BOARD. it is time to STOP. Commissioner Pam Thatcher pronounced this organization to be conducting a fraud on the community. The police have dropped the ball on this one. This is far from over. WE who dedicated our time, talent and money to this organization over the years need to have answers. My name was forged on a federal document by Rita Best, as she admitted in court. This fact has not been addressed adequately. There are many injustices the least of which was Rita Best's ongoing attempt to present the organization to the public and to the Feds as a legitimate not for profit agency when in fact it was found to be a front for a thrift store and nothing else.
