Visited for dinner as a ""couple night's out"". Greeter was pleasant. Atmosphere is attractive but accoustics make for a very loud place. \r \r Service started out OK, but quickly slipped into not so good. We asked if we could sample a wine as they were pricey. Server said it depended on whether or not a bottle was already open. This seemed like a strange answer, but not a big deal at this point in meal. \r \r Ordered soup and salad. Soup was good, salad dressing was so-so.\r \r We asked server to split our main dish, but we wanted to share from the same plate (being we were on a date). Server said this wasn't possible. Apparently, everyone MUST get their own plate??\r \r It took a long time for main entree to arrive. We didn't mind as we had good conversation, but it still was a good 30 minutes or so. \r \r Main dish (pasta and shrimp) was disappointing and expensive. It was -completely- bland and nothing like how it was described by server. We tried to like it, but it just wasn't happening. We only took 2 or 3 bites. \r \r We told server we didn't like the dish. She was surprised and at first didn't seem to believe us!? So we repeated ourselves again. She said she'd tell the manager. \r \r 10 minutes go by (by the way, all our plates from soup, salad, bread, etc. are still on the table forming a pile - and now we're going on a hour) and server comes back and says -quote- ""because there was nothing wrong with how the dish was prepared, we can't take it back."" \r \r I lost it at this point and asked to speak with the manager. After a 10 second conversation, he agreed to remove dish from the bill but wasn't interested in a conversation (maybe he was busy...).\r \r Bottom line - WAY OVER PRICED, WAY UNDER SERVICED, and food quality is spotty. We won't return which is a shame because we really wanted to like this place. Pros: nice ambience Cons: SLOW untrained service, mixed food quality, WAY OVER PRICED
