Bruce Mauzy, a recovering addict, was disbarred from the practice of law on December 13, 2011. He has thirty days from that date to appeal. The State Bar suspended him from the practice of law in 2005 or 2006. Bruce was just about to get appointed to run the Galveston County Drug Court earlier in the year. Than the person who actually got the drug court appointment found people who would charge him with misconduct.
