HORRIBLE customer service 2/6/2007

The server informed us upon ordering that the appetizer bar came free with the entree. I explained that my guest and I would be splitting a dinner entree (for lunch), and that I did not want the appetizer bar. The server said that that was fine, that my guest could partake of the bar since the entree came with one free appetizer bar. We were given a bill as such, but when the server returned with our card, he had a new bill. He explained that he had informed us incorrectly and that the manager said we would have to be charged an additional $9 for the appetizer bar for my guest since we split the entree. I just paid $9 for a spring roll and peanut sauce. Had we been informed correctly we would have ordered differently, my guest would have passed on the bar, or we could have gotten two entrees and it would have actually been cheaper. I don't mind spending money, but I shouldn't have been penalized for receiving incorrect information given by the server. What a horrible way to treat a first time customer. Never again!!!
