this bar is by far one of the best to come along in a while. the bartenders are really friendly (even to other girls) the doorman is a cutie, the music and dj's are great! the style is more new york than san francisco (i'm a native new yorker) - an no cover!! - we went this past friday and had a blast! Good happy hour place 7/19/2002

It was packed on a thursday night. Cheap drink prices, kind of swanky crowd. Music was a little too loud, but I'd definitely recommend this place. Look hard for the minimal signage. more

Waste O Time! 7/19/2002

After reading the reviews of this bar, my friends and I decided to check it out for some drinks on a Thursday night. We should have realized how lame this bar was when the dorky ass bouncer told us it would be an hour wait when we were 3 people back and the bar was semi-crowded. Anyway once we got in the bar (10 minutes later), it was a major disappointment. Maybe this bar would be a hotspot if it was located in the Castro, but the scene sucked. The clientele was around 90% guys. The few girls in the crowd were over the hill and unattractive. All and all a major waste of my Thrusday evening. The only thing remotely attractive about this bar were the barmaids. more

best thursday scene 6/18/2002

right now this place has the best thursday nights in the city that I've been to in awhile. there's a raging happy hour party followed by an awesome funky techy dj night, every week. the people are the perfect blend of stylish but underground, swank but low key. alot of artists and djs hang out here. very social crowd. bartenders are real professionals. Great new bar! 6/13/2002

. . .this place is GREAT! alright, maybe a little crowded, obviously I'm not the only one who uses citysearch (it was also a Saturday :)) the best part was the service, even at the busiest point everyone was gracious. The bartenders were quick and friendly, doorman was polite and even thanked us on the way out (how's that for a change) and the music was awsome. Only complaint - only two bathrooms. Wish - keep up the great work! Pros: great service, great music, great lighting Cons: only 2 bathrooms more

My Favorite SoMa Spot 5/28/2002
