Happy Customer 5/23/2011

I was away on business when my wife informed me that our heater quit working. With a 2 month old in the house, having a working heater has suddenly become very important. I googled for heater repair in Sherman oaks and came across West Coast Chief company. While on the phone with them, I explained the problem and the urgency of my situation. The CSR did not seem to be very concerned but he did assure me that a technician will be out to my house within 2 hours. About 50 minutes later my wife had called me to let me know that the technician was already there working on the heater! Another 40 minutes later our heater was back to normal and warm air was flowing through the house. Thank you Google and a big THANK YOU to West Coast Chief! I could not be happier. more

West Coast Chief Repair called me before I even had time to contact them and arranged a timely appointment. They called me the morning of the appointment to let me know the technician would arrive within the next 30 minutes, which he did. The technician was knowledgeable, friendly, polite, and kept me informed of what he was doing at all times. My heater was working within the hour, at an amazing price! I have already recommended them to others and will continue to do so, I couldn't be more pleased with their service! more

could install the next day 5/6/2011

Unlike the other company they told me they could get the part right after the weekend and could install the next day and that is what happened. The other company on this site and the one that came out from the Home Warranty company told me it would be at least 5-10 days to get the part. more

Guys at West coast chief repair is the wonderful! Both managers (Erin and Michael) called me within 20 mins of submitting my request and their guy showed up next day. They look at my problem and it turned out it is a job can be done in 2 mins. So the service people fixed the problem and walked away without charging us - will definitely do with business with them again! more

Both dispatcher and technician were polite and professional. Repairman diagnosed problem and was honest about cost/benefit. Work was performed quickly and the entire area was left clean. I will use WCCR again. more

As a management company that we are, we always deal with different service professionals. However, the service professional sent by West Coast Chief was polite, friendly and knowledgeable and took care of our tenant in a speedy manner, promptly. He communicated the procedure and worked with moving heavy obstacles without any complaining and handled the situation timely and smoothly. We will continue giving them all our appliance business for the many buildings and houses we are currently managing. Keep up the good work. more

The service is prompt & they called to let us know the repairman would be over w/in 20 mins. Reasonable prices. They provided an explanation of what was wrong & gave us the old part that was replaced. We would certainly use them again in the future. more

perfect customer service 1/26/2011

they called almost immediately upon submitting the request. i appreciate that they obviously wanted my business. the repairman came and fixed my washing machine quickly and only charged me the $35 initial visit fee. he was nice, professional and a good communicator. they gave me a 4 hour window (12pm-4pm) of when they'd show up and said they'd call within 30 minutes of the repairman's arrival. in my experience, most places would call at 3:45pm and the repairman would be a little late. this time, they called at 1:30pm, he was there by 1:45pm and my washer was fixed by 2pm. it was the perfect customer service experience. more

my technician, J.D., was so great. I felt very comfortable with him. He found the problem with my swamp cooler and told me he would locate the part and let me know what the cost was and when he would have the part. He was only gone less than five minutes and called me with the information. And the price was very reasonable. more

working well 1/25/2011

Got my phone call immediately and an appointment was set up. Called and arr'd on schedule, very pleasant and reviewed the whole refrigerator, not just the one area. Glad he did as we learned more about our frig from Vladimir. Also discovered our ice maker was defective from the beginning, only we never realized it. The replacement is working well, no more obnoxious sounds of ice falling into the tray. Thank you! We talked to Samsung and got no sympathy...nor will the booklet ever be rewritten to include things to watch for and get repaired before the warranty runs out. more

Very good job, and they were willing to drive all the way to my house which is quite far from me. Great job will use again. He did quite a bit of work and went out of his way to fix a 1961 heater. And was able to fix and I didn't have to replace it. more

Very Honest 12/16/2010

I felt they were very honest. Any time a service provider tells me how to do things more cheaply than they can, or when they tell me it'd be smarter not to do certain work, that tells me they're looking out for my best interest, not just a quick buck. more
