Got my phone call immediately and an appointment was set up. Called and arr'd on schedule, very pleasant and reviewed the whole refrigerator, not just the one area. Glad he did as we learned more about our frig from Vladimir. Also discovered our ice maker was defective from the beginning, only we never realized it. The replacement is working well, no more obnoxious sounds of ice falling into the tray. Thank you! We talked to Samsung and got no sympathy...nor will the booklet ever be rewritten to include things to watch for and get repaired before the warranty runs out.
