My 2 year old daughter had an appt on July 12, 2011 @ 10:20 am at Village Family Dental in St.Pauls, NC. I arrived for this scheduled appt. 20 mins early & was not called until 11:25. I understand that there is a wait & I may not be called exactly at my scheduled appt but an hr later seemed a bit too much for me. I just feel that maybe too many appts are scheduled too close together & if you have an appt you should be checked in & seen no later than 15-20 minutes upon that time. more

My son loves his hygienist Ms Aletha. She is always very attentive and thorough! Thank you for an excellent visit! Its not a common thing to say children love the dentist, but my son LOVES it! All of the staff is very friendly and always happy to give you a smile! Definetly recommend this office in little Saint Pauls! more

My appointment was at 10:10 am. I was at the office at 10:05. I am a regular patient there. I did not receive my treatment until 10:40. This was unsual. I usually have a ten minute wait. If there is a delay, someone usually informs me. What happen on this day? The service was great and I love my dental hygience! more

My daughter, Amber, was seen in your office Tues., 6/14 she for 2 fillings. There were two patients with the name of "Amber". . My daughter told the staff that she was to get a filling and the comment was ok. My daughter said the picture on the computer was not her and the staff stated that she looked like the other amber without glasses. What would have happened if this was some other type of services beside a cleaning and my daugher would have received it. If you have pictures of the patients on the computer there is no reason for a mix up should as this one. Also,I see under the services offer is Orthodontic - braces. If this is so, why was my daughter referred to another orthodontics "The Happy Tooth" for braces. yes, on Wed. 6/15 we make a trip to Chapel Hill to the happy tooth for consultation on braces because amber has a over bite. had to Why could your orthodontics not see Amber especially since she is already a patient t Village Family? So what kind of improvement are you going to make since this incident with the cleaning on Tuesday occurred. Are is it going to be overlooked and just consider it a "free cleaning" as my daughter was told by the staff. Will I be receiving response to my questions? I sure hope so. Carol Greer, mother more

This vist was truly one of the greatest expoerences at a dentist office I have ever had. All the people were very friendly and professional. of which these traits are for all eo emulate. I must say, I had one of the best overall experiences ever at a dental office yesterday. The dental assistant was friendly, helpful and very nice and Dr. Jacobs was just awesome. If a dental appointment could be almost pain-free, this one would have qualified. Dr. Jacobs took her time, explained what she was going to do, told me what to expect at each step, and was gentle and caring. I felt no real pain at all during two tooth extractions. While more expensive than my last dentist, it is worth it when you are seen when your appointment time is scheduled and the care is as good as it is. more
