Upon entering this office, like previous comments, I was greeted by name with a smile. This was 5 years ago. I became a patient of Dr. Warkentin's as a result of falling off a ladder while painting. I thought I had broken my hip and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The ER doctors looked at several x-rays and came to the conclusion that I had a deep bruise and prescribed me percacet and soma. At first I felt great, but once the medications wore off 2 weeks later I was back to the same pain. I followed up with a doctor that the ER had given me. Fortunately for me, one of the employees at the doctors office gave me doctors Warkentin's card quietly as she handed me yet more prescriptions. I made an appointment to see Dr. Warkentin the following morning. I didn't want more x-rays but he insisted he wouldn't see me otherwise. ""We"" looked at my x-rays together. He drew on them and showed me almost an inch difference in the levels of my hip. He explained that he couldn't be sure that the fall caused this, however, he was rather certain that it had nothing to do with it. After several adjustments I felt pretty good. About 3 months later he took 2 more low back x-rays and the inch was now about a quarter of an inch and the pain was about 90& better. I continue to see Dr. Warkentin from time to time for a ""tune up"" and have referred countless friends and co-workers to this most impressive clinic. Always professional, friendly and this past Monday I had a visit to his latest clinic or wellness center. Jaw dropping, but ole Dr. Warkentin is the same old doctor that he was years ago. I was recently referred to Verve Chiropractic from co-workers at a cardiology facility that I work at. I have been in healthcare for 20 plus years and have to say that this clinic is a first rate facility. The staff are professional kind and always smiling. In fact when the staff answer the phones you can almost feel them smiling through the phone. This atmosphere needs to be adopted by other healthcare providers. The healing starts the minute you walk through the doors. The sound of the water wall, the light classical music and the soothing lights, not to mention leather sofas instead of hard uncomfortable chairs. I am glad to be a part of this clinic and happy that Dr. Warkentin is still accepting new patients in this busy clinic. more

I had never even thought to seek chiropractic care before in my life, but now I am so glad I did! The staff at Verve is friendly and awesome. They really care about the patients and how we are feeling. I receive quality care from the doctors for myself and my family. I even take my small children to be treated by Dr's Warkentin, Williamson, and Prisbey. \r I also get ""one-stop-shopping"" at Verve Wellness Center. . . They offer medical, dental, physical therapy, and massage besides the chiropractic. This is FANTASTIC! The doctors and other practitioners in each of these modalities are fabulous! We are very proud of all your accomplishments and your genuine caring ways, not to mention your uncanny healing ability. Recently I was referred To Veve Wellness Center from the concierge at my work. I have worked for the Phoenician resort for several years and have grown to know what 5 star accomodations entail. After injuring myself at work, I took our concierges advice to seek help for a neck sprain at Dr. Warkentin""s office. Upon entering, I was greated by very friendly staff by name ""as they were expecting my arrival"" all of them dressed in matching scrubs. I filled out my initial paperwork and within 2 minutes of completing iit was ushered to a beautiful exam room and given a bottle of water. I was told that the doctor would be with me shortly. Within 5 minutes, Dr. Warkentin enetered the exam room with my chart. he went through a rather extensive history and examination. Once he was finished he excused himself and Jennifer one of the assistants brought me back for x-rays. Dr. Williamson enetered a few moments later and took my x-rays and I was then brought back to the initial exam room and put on electric stimulation and heat as I enjoyed the relaxing music and atmosphere. Roughly fifteen minutes later Dr. Warkentin and Dr.Williamson came into the room and went over my x-rays step by step. They addressed all of my questions as they went over the x-rays and answered several questions before my adjustment. I rarely feel that anything compares to a 5 star hotel when professionalism and service is concerned, however, this clinic definately deserves a 5 plus star rating. My neck pain was resolved within a few visits and I have gone back periodically for checks ups since then. This clinic and these doctors are tops bar none. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for results and 5 star service, this is the place for you. Thank you Veve Wellness and staff for all of your hospitality and making me feel young again. I was scheduled to have spinal surgery, however, Dr. David Warkentin used x-rays, adjustments, and axial decompression on me. After these treatments, my low back problems were resolved and I no longer needed any surgery. I thank God for the outstanding, knowledgeable, and very professional treatment I received, and now feel 100 % better and without the risks of surgery. I found that all the staff of Verve Wellness Center, were not only courteous and friendly, but went out of their way to ensure that my needs were promptly and professionally looked after. I have no hesitancy is recommending Dr. Warkentin, including his medical staff to anyone in need of expert professional care. The facilities and equipment of Dr. Warkentin's practice, including having an M.D. as part of his staff make this a truly unique clinic. I have been seeing a chiropractor in Peoria for several months with no results. Discouraged I started looking around for alternatives. Not thinking of looking for another chiropractor, I looked into epidurals, cortizone shots and pain medication. I heard from a co worker about Verve chiropractic. Skeptical, i made and appointment the following Saturday. Even on the weekend there were 2 doctors on staff that is saw. Dr. Warkentin explained that the symptoms that I had were more than likely disc related and immediately referred me To Arista imaging. Through his relationship with them, I got in immediately. On Monday, I had a follow up with x-rays and Dr. Warkentin had already received my MRI report. He was right, I had a herniated disc in my lumbar spine. He suggested that I use his axial decompression table in regular intervals for several weeks. I discussed this with my family doctor. He suggested an epidural and possible surgery. Scraed of what I researched on the results of surgery, I reluctantly follwed dr. Warkentins and dr. Williamsons recomendation. Well! 5 weeks later I am 100% free of pain. I have the occasional twinge in my right leg but still have 3 weeks left of care. I am so very greatful to the care and kindness that I have had the opportunity of receiving at this office. I never felt pressured into care here but was simply informed on many options. Thank you Dr. Warkentin and staff. I don't know what I would have done without your compassionate patience and care. I always feel like I have come home every winter when I get back to Arizona from South Dakota. My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Warkentin's for nearly 4 years now. We feel as though he is part of our family and us part of his. Roughly 2 years ago he brought on another young doctor. Dr. Williamson. He too makes us feel very welcome and we both think that he is a strong addition to the clinics continued growth. As we sit in the reception area and listen to other patients speak of their experiences at this very unique office, we are always reminded how fortunate we were to find Dr. Warkentin in the first place. My husbands mobility in his neck was severly decreased as a result of Parkinsons 3 years ago. Since then Dr. Warkentin has used a cold laser on his neck after his adjustment and his mobility is almost as good as it was when I met him as a teenager. Truly remarkable considering our family doctor in South Dakota said that there was really nothing we could do for this problem. I have seen several patients hoble in over the years to this first rate facility and always do better on their way out. Thank you Dr. Warkentin for our health and optimism about our future as we get older. PS. You need to open a clinic in South Dakota and come up North for the summers......wishful thinking. I have been an auto mechanic for nearly 20 years. I have also been a patient of Dr. David Warkentin's for about 6 years. I first went to see him being referred from Emergency Chiropratic when I hurt myself falling off a lift at work as Emergency would not take me as a new patient. i am truly grateful for the referal. He not only corrected my low back pain, but, I no longer have headaches and I sleep better as well. Hi s clinic is truly a work of art. I always feel like I am going to a 5 star resort when I walk in. Last week, he took the time to walk me through his latest clinic. Awe inspiring would fall short of describing it. The first clinic I was at with him was on Stapley. Even then I knew he would turnout to be a cut above of the ""competition"". He truly has exceeded anyones expectations with this new clinic and I cannot wait to be a part of it. more

I never feel like another number at Verve Chiropractic. I have know Dr. Warkentin since the bitter beginnings iin AZ. Workingfrom Stapley to Gilbert to working with Gibb to finally having had enough, he build his own clinic...and let me tell you all what a hell of a clinic it is. Very modern, comfortable and professional. Dr. Warkentinhas always taken the time to go over topics with me that I had no idea he knew about. He found Conjestive heart failur with a patient the other day who was sinoky in for an adjustment. He immediately told the patient that he needed an ER and a full work up. He complied and a week later, he came back in o thank all of us for saving his life. This Dr. Warkentin is one but a handful of doctor of chiropractic who acully look beyond the patients pain. In this last case the patient may havr died from conjestive heart failure, something thathis own medical doctor never caught. I can hardly wait to see the new clinic up and running on the 28th of April. From what I hear....it is spectaular with all the best equiment in chiropractic, dental, medical, physical therapy and a spa. It is a rare life experience when your entire thought and view change in a moment. My visit and treatment at Verve Chiropractic Group created this occasion for me. Growing up in a high achieving family, surrounded by physicians, anything less than emergant was never given a second thought. My first visit with Dr. Warkentin forever changed this mindset. Not only was I allowing my misalignment to grow, causing more pain and tension, but I was also living LESS THAN my maximum health. \r Unlike many doctors who explain 'the human body""...Dr.Warkentin explained my PERSONAL state! He gave reference to where I would be left unchecked and where I could be with minimal treatment and maintenance. To solidify my understanding he proved his findings by drawing directly on my xray and giving me specific measurements. I have been a patient of Dr. Warkentin's for the past 6 years. I have seen him grow form a one room clinic to a 12,000 square foot facilty. I cannot believe what he has built. He has added dental, medical, chiropratic, physical therapy all under the roof of something that would rival a manhattan or beverly hills plastic surgeons office. This new office is ""off the charts"" pun intended. From the moment you enter, you are greated professionally with smiles from his ever growing staff and doctors. Once in the reception you can enjoy a cup of starbucks coffee from his free starbucks station to a bottle of water while reading a magazine or watching one of the many plasma televisions in the office. In the years that I have known Dr. Warkentin, he has always stayed the same caring physician that I have grown to respect and admire. he is a man of his word and always seems to do what he says. This new clinic is really something to be seen and I would encourage anyone looking for a chiropractor, dentist or family practitioner to go here first. You will NOT be disappointed. I have been a patient at verve chiropractic for 4 years now. I am a firefighter and go in when I fell I need a tune up. The doctors and therapists are great and always in a great mood. I feel more like I am with a family than a regular doctor. Myself, my wife and two children always look forward to our visits. The kids love Gracie the resident weimaraner. A friendly, professional modern clinic. That's how I would describe this unique clinic. I was told last week by Dr. Warkentins staff that their new chiropractic, dental, PT, medical clinic will be opening in the near future. I cannot wait to see what it will be like. I recently had the luck of being refered to Verve Chiropractic Clinic. I came into the clinic with severe low back pain. After Dr. Warkentin performed an extensive exam on the area, I had x-rays taken. The doctor told me that he suspected that I had a disc injury, but was not able to see it on my x-ray. The clinic refered me for an MRI and he was right. I had something called a moderate posterior disc herniation at L4 and L5. After going over the result of my MRI with me so that i could understand it, he recommended that I come in and use a special traction table for the injury. It has been 2 weeks and I can actually walk upright and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am truly greatful for the quality of care and compassion that I have always received from the entire staff at this clinic. They are always professional and take time to give me the treatment that I need. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a doctor with excellent bedside manor and is very intelligent. recently, I was told about a clinic in my neighbourhood. I was suffereing with ""carpal tunnel"" syndrome. At least this is what I had been told by my primary doctor. After 2 years of medication for the problem I was told by my hair stylist to call and check out Verve Chiropractic Group. I made an appointment and was seen by 2 doctors there. Dr. Warkentin had told me that if my whole hand was numb it was not likely carpal tunnel syndrome. He told me that the nerve that caused the pain associated with this was responsible for 3 fingers, not all five and the problem was likely caused by a problem in my neck. After Dr. Williamson took x-rays, Dr. Warkentin went over them thoroughly. It was the first time that a doctor actually took the time to explain the x-rays so that i could actually understand what he was talking about. Long story short, after a few visits my 2 years of pain was gone. Completely!!! I am very greatful to Verve Chiropractic for giving me back my ""quality of life"". I would urge anyone who is looking for a chiropractor to make an appointment here. As a nurse practicing in Phoenix, I was referred to Verve Chiropractic by one of the doctors I work with. I was impressed by theknowledge by the group of doctors at this clinic. My hand pain went away shortly sfter becoming a patient here. For several years I thought that I was suffering with carpal tunnel syndrome. Turns out that I haad pressure from a cervical disc putting pressure on my nervous system. I am glad that I made the step I did, though I was very apprehensive. I recently had the pleasure of being referred to Verve Chiropractic Group. Upon entering I was greated by 2 smiling girls in pink scrubs. It was like entering serenity. The smell, the sounds not to mention the beauty of this extraordinary office. I was handed paperwork and I was quickly seen by Dr. David Warkentin. After a pretty extensive exam, I was brought back by the assistant and had x-rays taken by Dr. Williamson. Within 45 minutes I was given a full report of my x-rays and they suggested that I go for an MRI. They got me in within 2 hours and had the results the next day. Dr. Warkentin was correct with his suspicion of a ""herniated disc"" in my low back. I have been back 2 times a week for 4 weeks using a special decompression table. i was told I would need surgery for my condition by my PCP. 4 weeks later I am 100% corrected because of the skills and knowledge of the physicians at this wonderful clinic. i cannot thank them enough for what they have done for me. I am very greatful that this clinic took the time to do the right thing. i would recomend with very high regards this clinic. I have also been told by the staff that Dr. Warkentin is opening his new Wellness Center sometime in March where he has hired dentists, physical theapist and other health professionals to well round this clinic.........I can't wait. Dr. Warkentn loves his patient, it shoes . needed a pain killer so he sent me to Vevrve medical to see their one of many doctors there. This clinic is like one I have never seen . I would have to say that I will refer anyone who needs a chiropractor, medical doctor, dentist, optomitrist and much much more I am forgetting. This clinic is run efficiently with a fantastic team of physicians working together. What a concept. Pros: 10 thumbs up more

I recently needed to see a chiropractor for an emergency. My neighbour told me about his doctor. I called Dr. Warkentin a Verve Chiropractic Group and was amazed that I got directly through to the doctor. He transfered me to his receptionist who scheduled me withing the afternoon. When I arrived I was amazed at how calming and beautiful this clinic was. A salt water fish tank and a water wall. The clinic looked like it belonged in Beverly Hills. My treatment was fantastic. After spending about an hour from getting x-rays a thorough exam and an adjustment I felt fantastic. Unlike my Chiropractor in California, I wasn't told that I would have to come back forever. I randomly chose Verve Chiropractic after having my back and neck injured, I called and left a message and Dr. Williamson personally returned my call (not the usual receptionist call). I was really impressed with how quickly I was accomodated....within the hour! And I was welcomed with genuine friendliness by the office manager and receptionist. The ambiance was very relaxing...like being in a spa setting and the rolling table and water table massagers were wonderful! Dr. Williamson made me feel very comfortable with his witty personality and gentle touch. Compared to other chiropractors I've had in the past, Verve chiropractic was extremeley different! I actually really enjoyed my visits. I have in the past (and continue) to recommend to anyone searching for a good chiropractic to check this place out.
