The best Italian food in the valley 7/11/2007

My wife, her female friend and I at at TuttiSanti in Mesa. Its in a weird little stripmall (what isnt in a strip mall in Arizona) that has a hodgepodge of stores. We wanted to try something new, and had driven past before and we were curious to check it out. We were kindly greated at the door and promptly seated. We had full waterglasses and bread on the table in minutes of seating. The waiter was knowledgeable regarding the wine list and also regarding questions about some of the menu items. He was flirty with the girls-which they totally loved-and seemd to really enjoy working there. Once our food came and we started eating, all our friend could say when the waiter asked her how the food was, is ""This food is amazing."" I have to saw, we shared a bit of each others food, and unlike other Italian places, each meal had its own distinct taste. My wife had a Chicken in Tarragon cream sauce with mushrooms and asparagus- which was the special, our friend had Tortellini Panna Rosa (chicken with leeks, mushrooms and a cream sauce with a splash of brandy) and I had the Chicken Imperiale with Mixed Vegetables. Im usually not impressed by vegetables, but the roasted veggies in olive oil..Mmmmm good!!! Some would say the prices are a little high for the area...but honestly, this is GREAT food and well worth the $14-24. We are planning on going back, very soon!!! I'd give it 11 out of 10 stars and I know both girls would agree it is far above any other italian places they have eaten at. Pros: Great staff, large place so there is quick seating, excellent food Cons: location is a little hard to find for some people, could be more romantic by dimming lights, music was a little loud more

Superior, True New York Italian Food - Not For Everyone 9/2/2006

Let's start by my saying that I am an Italian from New York. Now the shocker for most people out here in Arizona... guess what.... Italian Food is NOT SPICY.... yes... there are a few spicy dishes... but if you are one of these beer drinking slobs that likes spicy food.... wants mounds of food for a low price, is looking for a slice of pizza, or goes to an Italian restaurant and orders spaghetti and meatballs and thinks Carabbas and Buca di Beppo have great.... or even eatible Italian food... then please, please don't waste your time or the restaurant's time by going here. This is not the place for you! You would have no appreciation for Tutti Santi. Please stay at Carabbas and Buca di Beppo where I consider their fare ""dog food"". Pros: This IS truly New York Italian Food appreciated by Italians who know great food. Cons: If anything... the bread more

Great food, great service! 6/27/2006

My experience at Tutti Santi was great from beginning to end. We were greeted at the door with a handshake and smile and seated promptly. Our waiter was very quick with any requests and our food came out as requested. The food (and the wine) was very good. The prices were a little high, however, the food and atmosphere was worth every penny. I would recommend Tutti Santi to any Italian food lover, especially for a romantic night out or special occasion meal. Bravo! Pros: Everything Cons: A little pricey, but worth it. more
