Agreed that one star is too high. The worst!! Have never worked with a repair shop that so boldly felt they could be this rude, do work this poorly and also insist on the $ up front!! Had them repair an exotic skin that needed cleaning. Instead of cleaning or having a discussion of what needed to be done, they decided on their own to dye it. It looked like someone painted it with house paint. Completely ruined!! Oh, and then they try to explain their poor work and lack of communication by saying it was ""broken"" anyway. Stay away. more

The worst repair shop I have used. Poor quality, expensive, and difficult to work with. No thanks! more

should not even get one star, warning 3/23/2012

WOW! Trio tried to charge me $100 for the red rubber sole on the bottom of my Christian Louboutin shoes. Really? Just because they are very expensive shoes does not mean you can over charge me to put the red rubber soles on the botttom. I was WARNED by the people at Saks Fifth Ave. not to let Trio touch my shoes. They told me the Bernies Shoes at Buckhead Crossing shopping center next to Home Goods on Piedmont road, charges only $40 and does a better job. Next time I will listen to the sales people at Saks. more

I am so EXCITED!!!! 1/11/2012

We all have our favorite pair of boots. I had worn mine till the souls were falling off. I thought they were unrepairable. My friend suggested Trios. I went in there with no hope of my boots being repaired. To my surprise they said no problem they could make them good as new. I was so excited and with in a week they were back and ready to wear. They were just wonderful people to deal with.. Thank you more

Excellent work 12/10/2011

I've been a Trio customer for 5 or more years. I recently moved to Miami Beach, I love Trio so much that I ship shoes to Atlanta for repairs. Trio is expensive but you pay for what you get. I consider my shoes an investment and worth the expense to preserve them. more

Best Shoe Repair in Atlanta 8/8/2011

I had two pairs of Italian leather shoes repaired here, and the results were AMAZING! They are new again. These were my favorite shoes. So needless to say the heels were worn down and the leather damaged. But now they look as good as when they were first purchased. I found the employees to be very knowledgeable, customer service oriented, and the prices to be very reasonable (especially considering the quality of work) . I could not be more pleased! I will never hesitate to take any pair to them in the future. more

Never again 3/17/2010

I have used Trio shoe service for over 6 years--bringing shoes in at least 4 times per year and spending $150 and up each time on shoe repairs--but Ryan obviously does not care about customer service--recently my husband dropped off 3 pairs of shoes for repair--when a pair of boots came back yesterday, the pull on the zipper was broken--my husband drove all the way back and Ryan claimed he had discussed the broken zipper at the time of the drop off (not true according to my husband)--if that had happened I would have asked that it be fixed at the time the boots we re-heeled--he now wants to charge $65 and keep the boots for an additional 2 weeks--still claiming he had discussed this previously. We won't go back--Ryan obviously never hear that the customer is always right and obivously doesn't care if he loses my $600+ of business per year. I'm sure I can go elsewhere and pay a lot less to have my shoes fixed and get better customer service! more

Too Pricey 10/16/2009

I went to Trios today to have a pair of boots that I paid $100 for to have them taken in to fit my leg and the guy quoted me a prices of $450 was he really serious????? more

Great Service and Repair 3/5/2009

When you have good shoes, you need the right repair service! Trios is a little pricey at times but as long as the work is justified you shouldn't complain more

Never hesitate. 1/21/2009

I ready the review about being expensive and overcharging. \r \r I walked into Trio today for the 1st time with 3 brand new pairs of shoes (Bruno,Prada, and Armani)\r \r All needed custom fitting. I was out the door in 15 minutes with a perfect fit, trees for each pair, and it cost me a total of $30. \r \r more

Good but expensive 1/8/2009

Normally do an excellent job but are very expensive - 2 to 3 times what others charge. I only use for the toughest work. Pros: Quality work Cons: Cost more

Overrated! 11/13/2008

They do a good job, but so do other neighboring shoe repair shops in Buckhead for a fraction of the cost! They take you for every penny they think you're worth. You come in with a pair of Choos or Loubus for a minor repair and they try to sell you on a handful of other things you don't really need just to hike up the bill. For instance, I took my boots in to get some minor sole repair and one of the guys at the counter was like, ""You should get a sealer on these boots to keep them from fading, etc etc."" He wanted to charge me an extra $100 to do this. I got a second opinion and as it turns out a sealer isn't going to significantly extend the life, especially when my boots were clearly a couple years old already. It's the natural life of the material, duh! Moreover, when I went back to him and explained this to him the guy was almost mad and he was like, ""well if you don't want to do it then don't do it"". That was not the point, he took no acountability whatsoever for misleading me. They're overrated, go somewhere else. Most other shoe repair stores all guarantee their work so don't let these people sell you on ""we guarantee our work""- they're not doing you any favors bc that's the standard. I'm not cheap I want my Choo's taken care of, but I'm not an idiot either, I will never go back! more

Best shoe repair, specializes in high end 2/23/2008

I read the negative review below and just had to sign up and post my own. Trio is by far the best and most professional repair shop I've ever visited. They're not the cheapest, but that's not the point. You get what you pay for -- the work is 1st rate and the owners are unfailingly helpful and polite. They""ve always told me up front that they guarantee their work. If the shoes are still too tight, I can bring them back and have them restretched. But I've never had to. The shoes come back looking just like new. I'm a long time customer and would recommend them hands down. more

Shoe Service 11/7/2007

Best shoe, handbag, leather repair in Atlanta by far. Great service, always ready when promised, and really nice people. What's not to love???!!! If the building is sold/demolished, I can only hope that they don't move OTP. more

Finest custom repairs, We ship anywhere UPS. 8/20/2007

As an owner of our family operated business for 40 years we are proud to have our children and grandchildren following in the tradition of repairing fine footwear and handbags at TRIO. I wanted to say I was sorry for Suzukibeans comment saying we were so bad. However we were closed for vacation when she says she brought her shoes to us. She mistakenly had a bad experience elsewhere. We routinely re - fit and re stretch shoes at no extra charge after the first visit. more

The Prada's, Blahnik's and Chanel's go to Trio Shoe Repair!!!! 8/4/2007

When I damaged a pair of my high end shoes there's only one place I trust and that's Trio Shoe Repair in Buckhead. When I have moderate priced shoe I take them to the nieghborhood shoe repair place. However the Prada's, Blahnik's and Chanel's go to Trio Shoe Repair. No one in Atlanta can handle high end shoes better. When I took my Prada shoe with the broke heel to my nieghbor shoe repair place I was told ""this can't be repaired"". However the guys at Trio said "" no problem"". The cost was $65.00 but the shoes retailed for $445.00 even though I got them on sale for a lot less then retail. I would rather spend $65.00 and get 5 more year of wear and tear then spend $30.00 and have my shoes look jacked up. I rate Trio Shoe Repair a pefect ""10"". Thanks guys. more

Dispicable! 1/1/2006

I brought them a brand new pair of Ellen Tracy shoes. They were to tighten the straps. When I went back for them the straps were still too big. The owner said the woman who did the work didn't understand his instructions. I came back the next week and there were yellow stains on the back of them. I asked him to please clean them and he snapped, ""You've already had me redo these once!"" He was going to charge me $100 to tighten the straps of a new pair of Stuart Weitzman sandals. I had it done at Renew Shoe Repair in Duluth for $21. Renew was pleasant to deal with and delivered excellent workmanship. Pros: location Cons: Rude, Expensive, Shoddy Work more

good job 8/18/2002

They did a great job on repairing a strap on my all-time favorite dress shoes. Fine stitching, can't see the repair, finished same-day. Thanks guys! more
