The Tree House

PLEASE get a website!!!! At the very least one with your hours and policies!!! It is very frustrating. It would be very nice to be able to find out when you are open, how many items you are taking and what items you are taking. Pretty nice items here, I have had good luck consigning but some of the employees are OH SO Grumpy!! Maybe retire or don't work with children!! Many act as if they are doing me a huge favor by taking my things........remember without the consigners and shoppers YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS!! Customer Service is the word!!! Stop disaplining my kids for touching the toys for sale. Do you want to sell them? Find a better way to not say it so rudely. You make me feel like I have to be on my kids for looking at the toys. If they don't look at them and like them............I won't buy them!!! On a better note there are a few employees that are wonderful. They are the ones I am standing in line hoping I get. I wish I could remember their names. Well thank you to the few. They are also the reason I come back. I drive a long way to consign here because the return is pretty decent and the items are nice. So focus on some better customer service and you will more than likely increase your business. more

High quality items!! Single household income with wife and two kids. Great place to go during lunch hour to shop. The ladies have always been polite and helpful. I don't know what I would have done if this shop did not exist. Great Job Ladies !! more

I used to shop Treehouse a lot in the 90's and found good, clean quality clothing at a reasonable price. I shopped Treehouse last week (9/2010) and found faded, stained overly priced clothing. Way too many clothes on the rack. They need to go back to accepting only quality items. more

Tree House certainly has lots to offer in high quality clothes, toys, extras. Like many consignments it's crowded and chaotic but the sections are well labeled. Unfortunately, I've had one too many times being badgered, scolded, or yelled at for not doing what they want or innocently doing something wrong. I certainly understand the need for rules to protect the items and I've seen other moms allow kids to behave in horrible ways while in the store - they have my understanding. But I'm on eggshells just walking in and have decided it's better to shop more welcoming places. Go mid-afternoon (nap time), without children, and don't touch anything you're not going to buy. more

I LOVE the Tree House! I stop in frequently since you never know what you're going to find. I usually bring in a few items to consign and shop with the profit I've made from my last drop off. It's addicting!! Sometimes you can even find new clothing with the tags still attached!! Why pay full retail when you can purchase a shirt for a fraction of the cost?!? Most items are in good, quality condition and have only been worn a few times. It makes total sense to shop consignment when shopping for children's clothes. more

I really enjoy shopping at the Tree House. You can get good quality clothes for your young ones and really make your dollar go far. They have a room in the front which is dedicated to new clothes, of which they have some nice formal attire and good quality every day clothes. There is a consignment room in the back. You can usually find some name-brand clothes on the racks although they have started to raise the price a bit on the name-brand things. They also have consignment toys, videos and computer games. more

We love Tree House. They are very picky about what they take, so it's easy to find good quality clothing. Once you learn the "rules" (nothing wrinkled, only in style, no scuffed shoes, 10 items at a time, etc.) consigning is a snap. My kids drawers and closets are overflowing with Gap, Gymboree, Hanna Andersen, etc. I can say yes to something that I normally wouldn't waste my money on, for example a hot pink Barbie swimsuit, because it's only $2! They are also a great place for dance items, Girl Scouts and dress up. We got a gorgeous dress for my daughter for $40--brand new. There are toys for kids to play with when they go, too. more

Tree House is a small children’s consignment store that is packed with clothing for your infant and toddler. They also carry larger children sizes, but the selection is considerably smaller. It is a true consignment shop, and they have stringent rules about bringing items in for consignment and collection of your payment. But as a buyer, it is very easy to find the size you are looking for. Most of the clothing is quality, many are top named brand. They carry some baby toys and baby items as well. The selection is always changing, and they do keep up on the seasonal wear. Stop in frequently, because you’ll never know what you can find. The prices are not of a thrift store, but they aren’t retail either. Most outfits are about $5-9. more
