Something wrong every time. 4/17/2008

This restaurant chain has been my favorite place for the best steak, the Marshal Dillion, for many years. But, this particular location has never lived up to the Texas Steakhouse reputation. Every single time my husband & I have ate there (several times over a year), we've had some kind of problem. Steaks way overcooked (ordered medium rare, got well done), side items completely wrong or missing, food cleared from table while still eating it (this happened the last time we were there earlier this week!), extra charges for stuff not explained at the time of ordering (their ""loaded potato"" side dish is an extra charge, but it's not stated as such in the menu or told when you ordered), rude waiters, sticky tables, drinks made wrong (they didn't know how to make a Mud Slide), etc. We've been severely disappointed and have decided to stop going altogether instead of hoping that the next time will be better. It's a real shame since when the Marshal Dillion is made correctly, it really is the best steak around! A PLEASANT DINING EXPERIENCE 7/10/2007

THIS RESTAURANT IS ONE OF THE BEST FOR STEAKS IN THE AREA...AND ALTHOUGH SOME OF THE REVIEWS THAT HAVE BEEN WRITTEN WERE WRITTEN BY IDIOTS WHO COULD EITHER NOT SPELL...STAKES...OR BY JUST JERKS IN GENERAL, THE RESTAURANT IS FRIENDLY, CLEAN, CATERS TO THE CUSTOMER AND PROVIDES WHAT I WANT...I DON'T CARE WHAT THE OTHERS SAY. I WILL CONTINUE TO VISIT AND ENJOY...ALL THE EXPERIENCES I HAVE HAD ARE GREAT AND THE STEAKS ARE COOKED TO PERFECTION....NO PROBLEMS. To be avoided if you enjoy good steaks... 7/10/2007

Texas Steakhouse has dropped out of the running as far as Steakhouses go. I used to visit frequently, but after the last visit I have decided to not ever go there again. The steaks have gotten smaller and tougher, the service slower and less proficient. The cleanliness of the restaurant overall seems to have dropped as well. The last time we ate there our table, as well as 3 others around us, had do send food back because of low quality or being prepared incorrectly. The manager was busy offering free deserts, but unfortunately they to have dropped in quality. Pros: Location, speed of service. Cons: Pour quality of food and service. more

The Filet Mignon rocks - best customer service with a smile 7/10/2007

I love Filet Mignon and that is the only steak I have had, once a week if not twice I get a med cooked Filet with the sweet potatoe. That meal is made for O types, and it is great, never had to return a steak. Service is great, right down to the three lemons with my water. That salad, now I just want olive oil and three more lemons for my dressing. They do it right and have no problems with what my friends call picky eating ( pork on a salad is just wrong). Skip it and go to Outback for a better steak 12/10/2006

OMG! the rest of the reviewers here must have low standards. TSS has no business on this list! My last experience there featured slow service, sub-par salad, fatty filet (should have NO fat on it) and just a general kitshy atmosphere -- do yourself a favor and skip any Texas Steakhouse! If cold beer and pretty waitresses are your bag, go to HootersRestaurant up the street... Pros: None that I can tell Cons: Service, atmosphere, food more

The best steaks, rolls, salad, and customer serivce 7/17/2006

I just love the marshall dillon steak and the rolls with that butter, mmmm, it's out this world place to eat. They also have the best salad and dressing anywhere. I like it when they have all you can eat ribs. The appertizers are great and the brownie ala mode also. I go every chance I get. I like my steaks well done, no pink meat, and one night it needed cooking a little bit longer. They were very prompt in getting it cooked right and the manager brought it back his self and apologized. They are so very nice and are contantly waiting on you for extra beverages or anything else. I ate there last year, Mother's Day, we each got a carnation and a card to come back and eat free. That shows customer appreciation!!! Pros: Food, Parking, Service Cons: Have to wait for a table on Fri or Sat nite, but it's worth the wait more

OF ALL THE TIMES I HAVE GONE TO TEXAS STEAKHOUSE I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN BAD FOOD OR SERVICE. I HAVE TRIED ALMOST EVERYTHING ON THE MENU AND HAVE YET TO FIND ANYTHING THAT HAS NOT LIVED UP TO TEXAS'S STANDARDS. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN EXCELLANT. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. more

The steaks at Texas Steakhouse are excellent - thick, juicy, top quality beef. The Marshall Dillon is marinated for moistness and flavor -- if you like steak, this is your place. Friendly service. Nice menu of other things to order if you aren't in the mood for steak. Don't miss the brownie - a slab of delicious brownie with a Hershey bar melted on top, with a scoop of icecream on the side - no way can you beat that dessert! Pros: Something for everyone! Great Steaks! 7/4/2006

Thick, juicy steaks, cooked just right. Texas Steakhouse always gets the vote when my family is going out for steak. I love the filet mignon and my husband always orders the Marshall Dillon, a specially seasoned ribeye that he calls the best steak he's ever eaten. The filet mignon is always so flavorful and tender. The salads, sides and appetizers are great too - lots of choices for everyone. Pros: Great tasting steaks Cons: Rolls are so good you can't stop eating them more

My husband and I recently ate at the Texas Steakhouse near the airport. The service was outstanding and the food was wonderful. The steaks were cooked to perfection. We can't wait to go back! Highly Recommended! Pros: Great food, great service! more

Hungry? This place can fix that! The steaks are flame grilled to perfection, just the way I would expect. The whole family enjoyed our night out at this steakhouse. Be sure to save room for the Hershey Brownie dessert! Pros: Flame grilled steak like you do it at home Cons: None that I can think of more

Very, VERY displeased... 6/20/2006

The only plus from this restruant was the prompt seating. Our waiter acted as if he was going out of his way to take our order and took him 20 mins to get to our table. The food took another 20 mins and was cold. This was not the Texas Steakhouse & saloon I remember. Pros: Prompt Seating Cons: Staff and Food more

went to Texas Steakhouse in Raleigh with a few friends and was very pleased with everything. Our service, food, atmosphere and price was all above average for our high standards. Close to the RDU airport and great option if you are traveling in or out more

This particular resturant has a wine list, while most others in the chain only offer 2 types. The service is very good and the food is wonderful! While a few people have had bad experiences here, I have never been disapointed. Pros: Near the Airport, Friendly Cons: Crowded more
