Terri's Consign & Design Mesa

There is not a low enough score for Terri's. Absolute thieves. We consigned an expensive bedroom suite and it sold within our contract time-frame. Never received our payment check - kept calling and was told each time that they needed to ""pull up our contract and call us back"" or that our check ""would be sent out the beginning of next week"". Not only did we never receive our payment, Terri's filed bankruptcy (again) all while continuing to keep their stores open. Stolen goods. more

I have enjoyed my terri's furniture and enjoyed saving so much money. I got named brand stuff at a seriously fabulous price! It is just a great time to go shopping at terri's! more

Just happened on this store the other day and I was so surprized at the unique items in the store. Found so many bargains. Will be shopping this store in Mesa, as well as Chandler & Scottsdale. The staff was a real pleasure to work with. Will be telling all my friends about these stores! more

As many have, I lost my house and had to downsize fast. I called Terri's and they set up arrangements to have it picked up right away and I did get paid. Terri, (i hope you see this) I know your Stores your went through bad times, but I am glad to see your are back! I heard that you have lost your home as well (I know that pain), I hope you are doing well...Good Luck... more

Having been recently laid off, I need all the help I can get so I turned to selling my furniture thru Terri's. Most of my things sold in the first month, so I got a check that really helped me thru the month. The staff was friendly and helpful. more

had over $1200 worth of items most all have sold. The contract states ""The check will be processed on the last day of the month following the sale of the item"". I had a item sell in December they said it would be sent 3/10 still no check. It is almost May now they say I won't have a check for some of the items until JUNE. They dontated my stuff that did not sell and the contract states that ""the items donated to charity will be communicated to the original owner by sending a donation slip via mail......Items were donated at the end of March with NO DONATION SLIP. I also paid $88 to have the items picked up and thought it would be worth it to have a check for $500 but I don't think they will ever pay.......Corporate office is a voice mail JAIL and the poor store staff.....it's not their fault........ but my guess they should start looking for a job SOON. \r Pros: Nice Starff Cons: I think they are going to close but are still taking items more

Stay away from Terri's Consignment!! She has owed me money for almost 6 months. If you are owed money file a complaint with the AZ Attorney General Office...they are investigating and you can only be part of the settlement if a complaint is filed. The more people that file a complaint, the quicker the Attorney General will push this case forward. DO NOT consign your furniture here. There are hundreds of people ahead of you that are owed money. more

We consigned a dining room set bought 15 years ago for $4,000 (on sale from $7,000). We received a check from Terri's for $150.00. Supposedly, they sold a large glass table, 6 chairs (2 which were captain chairs),3 piece lighted glass and oak china cabinet and buffet server for $300.00. I would love to see the bill of receipt at their store. Also, they sold it in August (7th). It was only after the 3rd telephone call that I received a check on November 1st. They are successful because you have no way of knowing how much they sell your furniture for. We did not see our furniture at any of the showrooms by our house, what does that tell you? I should have donated it to Habitat for Humanity, at least the money would have went to someone deserving. I wish I would have read the reviews on this site before I signed away my furniture. more

They said they were under staffed, then when the check still didn't arrive in the mail they said it must have gotten lost and they needed to reissue. I asked for and manager and only got a voice mail box. This is not good service. No one apologized, in fact they seem to act as if it is my fault for being irritated.\r The young man who quoted me a price for my furniture totally under quoted me, and said they would probably sell for less, yet when I went into the store to look around , they were gone, I saw lots of pieces that were awful that were priced far more expensive then mine, I wonder what they sold for, they said they are only giving me what was quoted on the contract. I feel like someone or thing is amiss.\r I think it is a good place to buy furniture, but not to consign. more
