This was an awesome cruise with great service and entertainment. The food was excellent with a variety to choose from including fresh salad and fruit. The wait staff was very friendly and courteous. My first experience here was awesome! The wait staff was very nice and helpful. The food was amazingly good and tasteful. My personal favorite was the potatoes. My daughter and son in law treated me to the Mother?s Day Brunch aboard the Star Gazer. What a wonderful gift. It was special, relaxing and beautiful. We listed to great music and ate wonderful food. I totally enjoyed every minute. The breeze off the water was cool. This is my first Mother?s Day without my Mom since she passed away. Thanks to Star Fleet, I was totally able to enjoy the day. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves aboard the yacht for Mother?s Day. The service was excellent. The food was absolutely wonderful. Everyone from the Captain to the servers were extremely warm and welcoming. The views from the yacht were enjoyable. It provided both inside and outside accommodations a long with wonderful music. This has to have been the one of the best Mother?s Days EVER! Pros: Friendly Staff Cons: Cruise too short! I wanted to stay all afternoon. more

The company I work for decided to throw us a party for reaching our fiscal years' goal and decided to take us on the Star Gazer. It was so nice to be able to do something different. We had cajun style dinner and we couldn't believe how good the food turned out. There was a selection of food from appetizers to desserts. The dj kept us wanting to dance by playing a variety of music for all of us. We are really looking forward to doing something else on the boats in the future. My boyfriend took me on this cruise for Valentine's Day and I had the best time! It was very romantic and the food was great! This year (2007) my wife and I boarded Star Fleet's first public Halloween cruise and we highly recommend the experience. Tickets included an excellent upscale buffet, beer, wine, DJ entertainment, and a 3-hour cruise departing from Kemah. Costumes were not required but almost everyone arrived personally decorated. The crew was great and the entertainment captain kept the upper deck lively with dancing, games, and a costume contest. Star Fleet offered both a family cruise and our 6 to 9 pm adult cruise. Since this was Star Fleet's first public Halloween cruise, the yacht wasn't filled to capacity but I'm hoping that word gets out and next year will see even more of a party. Ages ranged from 20's to 50's, but predominantly a younger crowd. Two thumbs-up for Star Fleet Yachts. We were 3 mothers that had our kids buy us our Mother's Day cruise tickets. We absolutely loved it! Yes, the lines were a little bit long at one point, but there was plenty of food, drinks and desserts to please everyone. The crew and wait staff was wonderful and was very accomodating and helpful. We loved it! We are planning on going back for a Friday night Fireworks cruise. The only con was that you could not really move around. We sat inside and ate and would have liked to go upstairs to the deck and enjoyed the music...but there was no where no seats left to be on the deck. We still had a wonderful time. Thank you so much Star Fleet. We will see you soon again. Pros: Great food, many choices, excellent crew and wait staff Cons: There was not enough room to move around to switch from the A/C main cabin out to the deck to enjoy the music. Once people was seated, they did not really move. more

We recently went on the Mothers Day cruise. The food was great and the service was exceptional. My mother absolutely loved it!!! We sat on the upper deck and listened to the live music. People were dancing and having a great time. We really enjoyed cruising by the Kemah Boardwalk and by all the really nice homes in the bay. It was so much fun!! We are going to go back for the Fathers Day one. I highly recommend it to anyone !!! more

We here at Star Fleet are always deeply concerned with the guest experience and have taken the comment we received to heart. We were caught totally by surprise by the amazing response to our Mother?s Day Cruise as a result of that we have added more boats and cruise times to our Father?s Day schedule. We have also decreased the number of guests we will carry on each yacht. As for our air conditioning problem, the offending unit has been replaced and is operating normally. Save your money. I was very disappointed in the Mothers Day Cruise. They packed us on board and crowded us into a small dining area. There was not enough room for everyone. I took my Mother and Mother-in-law and was expecting a relaxing, comfortable cruise with a good buffet and live music. Instead my husband and I stood in a buffet line for 20 minutes being jostled by staff and other passengers as they tried to squeeze by. We ended up sitting up on deck at plastic tables and had to carry two plates each as we didn't want our Mothers to have to wait in line in the hot dining room and carry their plates up the stairs. The food was edible and they did have plenty of it. The live combo was good and they played a nice variety of tunes. It would be more pleasant if they significantly reduced the number of people - I'd say by at least half. While we were waiting in line we watched a fellow passenger put at least nine chocolate covered strawberries on her plate, which by the way, were never replenished. There were several other desserts though. I don't blame her however as she was probably trying to save her other family members the pleasure of standing in a crowded hot room, being pushed around while watching those who got on board first eating less than a foot away, and watching little old ladies shaking their heads in dismay. more
