My wife and I went on the ""Romantic Dining"" cruise last Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary and the whole evening was great. Relatively easy to find, plenty of parking, friendly people. We had a table at the front of the room on the top deck of the ship (which had been enclosed with clear plastic ""windows"" to keep out the cold) and were treated very well by the staff. The buffet food was good (chicken, fish, rice, veggies, etc) and the ""one-man-band"" (Danny Osterwisch) was amazing to watch (and sounded good too). He played a variety of music...mostly from the 80's-current, and had a system where he could record himself and loop it back, thus allowing himself to provide backup vocals, harmonies, etc...fascinating. Great musician and performer. At one point one of the other guests went on ""stage"" and performed a song with him, and was also a great entertainer. The ship (they have several, but we were on the ""Star Gazer"") was quite nice. I can't say enough about how fun the evening was and how friendly the staff was, etc. I absolutely recommend anyone to go on one of these cruises. (Also, I noticed on the downstairs deck there was another type of event going on...maybe the ""Murder Mystery"" cruise?...dunno, but they had costumes and props and seemed to be having a raucous good time.)
